British Airways and Virgin Atlantic have just lifted mask mandates on some of their flights:

BA’s official line is that “customers will only be required to wear a face covering on board our flights if the destination they’re traveling to requires it.”

However, that doesn’t automatically mean face masks can be left at home when traveling to the UK.

Some destinations currently require masks for inward and outward bound flights — such as the US, where the mask mandate is set to be in place until at least April 18.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stipulates that mask wearing is required “traveling into, within, or out of the United States.”

  1. It’s often been said that the process is the punishment. It was bad enough flying in this country before the phony plague, and I’ve mentioned several examples of that. Dropping the requirement for face diapers won’t make it easier. The guards and security agents will be just as rude, just as abusive as before.

          Just traveled thru Pearson Inter-unrational y”day and every 10 minutes we were forced to endure the announcement that, for the good of everyone we must wear our masks over our noses and our mouths.
          The e’ffen IDIOTS still comply but the majority of the younger people have their masks on their chins, or below their chins. They obviously don’t believe the BS but their complacency will be catastrophic, I fear.

Consider this: even if the “science” has changed (SEE: trucks, capital cities, pants-wetting flamers), people have already been conditioned to wear these ridiculous garments and be scared every time someone clears his or her throat. People will want to do these things, even if the rules are relaxed for the moment.

  4. Long before the current pandemic it was repeatedly shown that mask wearing by the public has no effect. It’s nothing but virtue signaling, theatre, control by tin-pot dictators.

    The most frightening thing is the number of people who absolutely believe the fearmongers and refuse to look at the evidence.

          So, how else can you label the person who is not content to live and let live, who absolutely has to impose what she (or he) wants on everyone in their orbit, their community, under their control (or who they’d like to be under their control).
          I agree it is unfair to the people with that name, who aren’t like that. But should you call them something less offensive, and no, “white woman” isn’t less offensive! Or, you could just ignore them! But that’s kind of the problem! They are impossible to ignore!

    Would be better spelling.
    These creatures “Care” so much,as long as someone else does all the heavy lifting,puts up the money and cleans up the mess.
    Signalling their virtuous “intentions” is the be all and end all.
    Calling them Karens is cruel to the decent gals who were named Karen by their loving parents.
