  2. Not exactly. It won’t be a permanent state of fear.

    When our former masters are vaporized or charred to a crisp or buried under tons of radioactive rubble or are rotting where they fell after suffering a lethal dose of radiation, the rest of us can finally live in hope.

      I read Bryson’s book, “The Body” recently.
      One overarching theme struck me. No matter what “part” of our body, whether an immune system or whatever, most chapters began with a common refrain….namely, well, we really don’t understand this, but…
      In short, despite it being the 21st century, we collectively know very little about the miracle of life.
      And yet we tamper.
      Do no harm.

  4. I think he got to the nub of it. Life is, in symbolic terms, a struggle between good and evil within each individual. And I agree with him that the modern ability to enforce social conformity now is so great, either through official threats or neighbours or facebook friends, that the stress of that personal internal battle is removed for all who will accept the dictats and blandishments of the state, to allow all moral responsibility to be removed as long as they follow the party line.

  10. This didn’t start in 2019 for me, did it for you? I can go back a long way to identify when organized hate began, it was the day I arrived in Canada in 1957. Different = bad and better = hate you bad.

    Or hate you bud, whatever. And it had nothing much to do with globalism, Putin, or even conservatism. That being said, what was fairly confined to a few back then is now the new normal, you’ve had a couple of years of my lifelong experience.

    How do you like it so far?

    So much easier than doing your home work,keeping your own affairs in order or cleaning up your own backyard..
    Learning new skills,meeting new people and performing your work to your own high standards…Fuck No..That is work,deferred pleasure and time consuming..

    And then ,to compensate for those feelings of inadequacy, more lies and self congratulations,until you believe your own bullshit.
    Thus Delusions Of Adequacy come to be born.
    Then join a Committee made up of similar fuck ups and you have “Good Government”..
    A self sustaining circle of idiocy and delusion which reality can not reach.
    Until you cause so much damage,that your victims reach in and touch you..

  13. Zuckerburg has personally declared WAR on Russia, I would be surprised if Putin doesn’t consider acting in kind and accept war with Zuckerburg.

    Does Putin have a legal or moral justification to put an international bounty on Zuckerburg now? That would be quite the odds in Vegas, who can get to who first.
