  1. I have seen a tattoo of the devils face on the back of a closely shaven head sitting in front of me during a bus ride..(Twice) I have always considered a tattoo to be another piece of jewelry, albeit one that can’t be taken off easily. At 70 years I am not shocked by any of this. My favorite music is “folk”. As much as I disliked rap when it first appeared, I appreciate Tom MacDonald as a modern day folk artist following in the foot steps of the Guthrie’s, Baez, Sainte-Marie and other protest singers I have enjoyed over the years.

  2. The song is good but I will never understand the self mutilation those people impose on themselves with tattoos and piercings.

not only is it ugly, it also represents pain

    not appealing at all.

  3. I can’t believe that the lyrics “they rigged the election” were censored in that video.

Also “I hate white liberals” was censored. Good grief.

  4. Tom is a fine looking lad. And I say this as a grandma who has never much cared for tattoos or most types of piercings. Hated rap until Tom came along. I enjoy his work.

  5. As seen in a roadside diner in old eastern California:

    “In God we trust!

    All others pay cash.”

Might look good on a T-shirt, (or a ten-dollar bill?)

  6. Well, I hope for his sake that his hip hop career pays the bills because the tats ensure he’ll never actually work anywhere. Personally, I don’t care what he’s saying. I can’t listen to that.

    1. He is very very very well off. Between YouTube revenue and having sold millions of album which he created and packed and mailed by himself with help from Nova and family, he is sitting fine. He can retire anytime. I am 64 and love Tom, generally hate hop hop and “c” rap. Tom is different

  8. In the last two years, I’m in my 7th decade on this mortal coil, I have listened to rap and I get it. Tom MacDonald and Matt Brevner are two examples that are speaking the truth.
