  1. Rex is correct about the Green Religion. However, he should consider the following scenario:

    Canadian military sets up artillery at the southern border and routinely shells the neighbor to the south killing hundreds.

    They shoot down civilian aircraft killing hundreds of innocents, including babies and children and claim “oops, we thought it was a military aircraft from that evil air force south of the border.”

    They damn the Columbia river completely cutting off the flow of water beyond the border.

    Any speech and accent that smacks of south of the border is also banned.

    What do you think would happen, particularly if Trump was still in the White House? What if Trump responded by sending his military to Ottawa?

    Have ANY of you paused to consider that the UN, EU, WEF Davos Uniparty and US Deep State have been salivating for the moment Putin breaks and has had enough and moves into Ukraine to position him as the new TRUMP that MUST BE TAKEN OUT?

    Why are you so quick to join the New World Order to defeat the evil white Christian bogeyman? You are being played.

    1. If Trump had sent troops to Ottawa, they would have been greeted as liberators. Only Centretown and Lowertown would have put up much of a fight.

      All holders of russian passport should be required to choose, Siberia or civilization. any resistance should result in immediate disposal.

  4. How about fertilizer and pesticides, any thoughts from farmers?
    How much of a problem for us is it if China and Russia have halted all fertilizer exports (Both are major exporters)
    From another website: “This is not just a problem for this year but an ongoing issue. The increase in the price and lack of availability of fertilizer is closely related to the lack of CAPEX in the natural gas space. (Pesticides are similarly affected by increases in oil prices).
    To make this worse, Russia exports 24% of the world’s exported wheat and Ukraine exports 9%. Will that happen this year?
    If Europe and the US are being overwhelmed this year with “migrants”, what will happen when they can’t get enough food at home?
    Why have no governments raised the alarm about this and tried to get emergency measures to increase fertilizer production in place? If the flu is a worldwide crisis, how about widespread starvation?
    What if Russia pivots to sell all this wheat to China? (The CCP needs it to keep their population pacified.) China saw this coming and stopped fertilizer exports and began buying all the food they could.
    I saw famine in the 3rd World on the horizon before this war. Looks even worse now. Will the Middle East and Africa explode once people are hungry? What about Pakistan, etc., etc., etc.?

      What kind of capital investment is required? Our lake house neighbors produced fertilizer serving farmers in north east Indiana for decades before they were driven out of business by competition.

Optimism dictates that in this instance, yes there is much pain ahead but most of the richer free nations will soon quickly turn back once the pain wakes up enough of the lazy masses when they can’t get their phones charged, play their Xbox or get a caffe latte because of constant brown outs and exorbitant costs for energy.

  14. There’s a lot of stupidity in democratic governments across the Globe. Foreign Affairs should never include trusting Tyrants in Communistic countries like Russia and China. Trading with them or dealing with them helps them survive.
    What do we need from Russia or China we couldn’t produce ourselves?

    How can we be serious about human rights and trade with people who have no respect for their people?

    1. OK, they didn’t intentionally help Putin’s wealth accumulation or military ambitions.

      But their illogical and unrealistic focus on shutting down coal and nuclear electrical generation and their own fossil fuel resource industries and trying the futile experiment of replacing them with renewables meant they had to access foreign fossil fuels to keep the lights on. Putin was happy to sell it to them (for a much higher price than we pay here) which resulted in his treasury growing fat, and paying for his intention to “pursue his cruel war.”

  18. I see that PP has bought in to the LPC / NDP narrative that all non-Indian Canadians are subservient races when it comes to resource development on Crown land. FN consultation on all proposed development is an SCOC construct giving a racial rights expectation of supremacy determined by 1/16 racial purity or even less for Metis group rights. Can at least one political party in Canada campaign on ending apartheid and welcome Indians into Canada as equals under the law.
