Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Send them to Ottawa to take care of the moral midgets in Parliament.

It seems that these giants were prone to getting their asses kicked by young shepherds. Maybe hold off on sending them .
About as meaningful as “The Bermuda Triangle Phone call”, or “the USS Nimitz arrival and departure point on Ley Lines.”, etc.
Is Erik Von Daniken still with us, or Emmanuel Velikovski?
It looks like some of Jagmeet Singh Jimmy Dhaliwal’s constituents paid a visit to his office and expressed themselves.

It is well known that there were lots of Neanderthals living (fairly late for Neanderthals) in Israel and along the Mediterranean, and that they favored the hill country in places like Moab and Ammon. There has also been lots of genetic evidence of Neanderthals interbreeding, of red hair, and of six and seven foot guys in that area.
There are also lots of legends found in ancient non-Israelite texts about how the Sumerians learned their arts from nonhumans, whose descendants were heroes of great strength and stature, and whose descendants didn’t stay dead when they died but turned into vampiric demons who stalked the night, and so on. And these guys lived underground with the goddess of death, under ranges of hills and mountains. Canaan had this idea too.
So basically a lot of people think there were part-Neanderthal descendants roaming around, who had some kind of reputation for knowing stuff. If they were seen by pagan Middle Easterners and themselves as god descendants with special powers, then obviously they would have been baddies to the Israelites.
But not always, because Ruth is referenced subtly in the Hebrew text as also a Moabite/giant descendant, and obviously she worked out fine.
Of course, the Mount Hermon thing they are showing is a pretty typical Bronze Age or prehistoric monument – drystone walls, some kind of circle thing, just like in the UK and all of Europe. The size is impressive, but that sort of thing usually is big.
Forgot to say that Greek “Amazon” and “giant hero” sites are usually dinosaur bone deposits confused for human bones, just like triceratops bones were taken as being griffins, and other dinosaur bones taken as dragons.
Belief in the prehistoric existence of giants was a thing back in the 1800’s and early 1900’s especially in the U.S. – in fact you could almost say it was common knowledge among the populace that yes, giants in N.A. existed at one time and and you could say it without fear of being mocked. And what seemed like overnight all discussion of it was squashed.
Abraham Lincoln even referenced them in a letter he wrote to his wife when he visited Niagara Falls. And despite the utter b.s. they try foisting on sports fans as to how the baseball team NY Giants got its name, the real reason is because they were unearthing scores of giant skeletons in upstate New York…hence the name. Some have posited that scientists and archaeologists don’t want it discussed because it throws a pretty big wrench into the theory of evolution. Who knows?
Skeletons of giants were even discovered in Cayuga Ontario Canada. Artifacts were confiscated…all archaeological digging was terminated, land appropriated, fenced off and handed back to the Indian tribe in the area. Case closed.
Good to see people like Brian Foerster, Graham Hancock et.al beginning to question mainstream science.
He lost me when he started comparing the similarities between serpentine mounds found in Israel and America. Yeah, and Jesus Christ walked among the Plains Indians … according to Joseph Smith and his magical, disappearing silver plates of revelation. More like simple forms and simple coincidence of primitive cultures.
And come on … understanding yearly seasons is some essential survival skill for mankind 3k years ago? Jebus… understanding seasons was basic empirical knowledge. Even more so than today in our insulated homes … early mankind had a much keener awareness of the seasons … because they were living IN an untamed nature. Sheesh … common sense … but we continue to distort history by looking at it through our modern lens. WE are the ignorant ones in our haughty arrogance. Reminder … we are but specks of time and matter on this earth … still NOW with all our technology. We only imagine we are so much more evolved than primitive man.
