  1. I live in a small town that does not have natural gas. Everything is hydro electric. I used to think that was a disadvantage.

    1. That’s how I grew up, Justin. Wood heat or propane in all of the houses because the electricity wasn’t dependable enough to trust our lives on. (rural, one high voltage line in, subject to frequent power outages from treefall or car accidents)

  2. That’s barely the beginning of Stephen’s stupidity. He’s also entirely opposed to nuclear power, the only alternative that can and has displaced the use of coal in power generation.

  3. France is building more nukes.

Quebec might be able to pull it off, solidarity or something.

  4. I would change ” Unfair, unrealistic and uneven ” to Unfair and insane. ” How is it so many Canadians do not see these guys for the fanatics they are.

  5. Nothing has changed since the 1970’s when Jimmy Carter put a crap solar panel on the Roof of the White House. Solar collectors are made of the same basic materials that degrade over time, and generate electricity in the same basic, unreliable, way … including NOTHING in the dark half of the year. Well, except they’re ALL made in Communist China now by near slave labor. Wind towers are bigger and taller … which only increases the energy deficit when they don’t spin.

Unreliable … not “renewable” … but unreliable OLD technology. Nothing has been fundamentally improved. Nothing. There is NO “new tech” in “renewables” … only slight improvements in manufacturing efficiency (by the Communist Chinese).

  6. The anti-industrial revolution has been ongoing since the sixties. Many of the revolution vanguard are now in high office, certainly in federal and various provincial cabinet postings. This has happened through the subjugation of liberty through the failings of unconstrained democracy and unconstrained public budgets funding hysteria in the name of the omniscience of “environmentalism”. When every proposed resource industry action is up against every interest group and species whose well being is measured by the state based on endless studies, fear, lobbying and hysteria, nothing increasingly happens. Prosperity is dependent on access to energy and Canada, along with other western bankrupt welfare states are crawling with mal-educated and ignorant citizens voting for poverty since the revolution started and getting it more and more.

  7. Hey, Stevie: you’re gonna need natural gas. How else are you going to heat the crematoria in the “re-education” centres you want to see built, or will they use electricity produced by renewable systems?

    1. Neither.
According to him, the fat from the bodies should keep the funeral pyres going indefinitely.
Just keep feeding them stacks of bodies like cord wood.

  8. A small investment in lead & copper could pay huge dividends.
It’s an investment strategy, but let your imaginations run wild. IYKWIMAITTYD.

    1. Sulfur, good quality hardwood charcoal and saltpeter come in handy in a pinch.
Not ideal, requires lots of cleaning but it does get the job done.

  9. For a caption contest for that photo, if we should put words for what is on theTurd’s mug:

Oh lala, Stephane! You gave it to me pretty good last night!

  10. The members of the green energy cult forget that every aspect of of the systems they envision have been outsourced for manufacture in China.
The cult members are obviously also into being on the receiving end of erotic asphyxiation and fail to realize Xi doesn’t recognize their “safe word”, because he’s Chinese.

  11. So let me get this straight…Trudeauscu and his Tiny Perfect Domestic Terrorist are accomplishing what Peter Lougheed could only dream of some forty years ago when the phrase Let The Eastern Bastards Freeze In The Dark was just that, a dream?

  12. Still missing the point folks. Ask yourself these simple questions,

Why hasn’t Stephen Harper stepped up to say anything?
Why did Stephen Harper fill those 22 Senate seats?
Why didn’t Stephem Harper close the CBC?
Why didn’t O’Toole resist any of this?
Why have only six men in charge of all of our elections, for a 100 tears, and never get to vote it?
Why has none of the G7, G8 or even G20 countries denounced the heavyhandedness of the government?
Why did everyone accept a “vaccine” that any person would tell you, was not a vaccine in any variation of the word?
Why did premiers, and world leaders of every political stripe do exactly the same thing, in spite of available data?
Why did some of the police in the crackdown not speak either language, or know protocols of riot patrol?
Who were those untagged, unnumbered, unfamiliar people working the crackdown?
Why did the HOC voluntarily stand down upon when the EMA was being utilized, but not approved?

There’s a lot more, but focusing just on Trudeau is wasting your time. Think bigger, and more malevolent.

    1. Does a submarine launched nuclear cruise missile have the range to hit Davos? Sub commander “oops, sorry we accidentally wiped out the entire Globalist movements brain trust, my bad”.

    2. Got a few more simple questions to round out your list

Why are Trudeau and Singh behaving as if they’ll never have to face the electorate again?
Why is Singh risking the NDP’s entire future by siding with the plutocratic LPC instead of the workers who used to form its core constituency?
Why aren’t any NDP and LPC MPs calling their leaders to account as they see the country turn into an outright police state?
Why aren’t any union leaders calling out the government for its illegitimate actions against lawful protests?
Why are the premiers silent (granted, Kenney is making a few noises, but 7 out of 10 stated they opposed the EMA but didn’t say boo since)?
Why is Doug Ford watching this happen in his province and not saying a damn word, knowing he faces the electorate by early June?

    3. Jane

Every question you posed is 100% bang on.

      Why the Fk indeed…???
I have thought for over 2 decades, that the Entire Political scene in this country had lost every Molecule of Moral Courage….gutless and 100% Bought paid for by:

Pick any source you like…WEF, China, UN, Soros, Clinton Foundation (along with their “wet” action crew), Obama….you name it.

I have said it before, our ENTIRE BODY POLITIC has been corrupted and to me every last one of those fuckers deserves a date with a concrete wall at their back.

  13. In Nova Scotia they spent millions on ocean turbines, they didn’t work and polluted the ocean then the tax payers were left with the clean up bill. Green energy is just wealth transfer, they take from the tax payer give it rich corporations to fund failed liberal green policies and once they fail the rich corporations sell us oil at inflated costs.

    1. I can envision them one day drilling into the Yellowstone Caldera to tap some geo thermal and messing it all up.
Whether a bug or feature won’t matter much, with the limited time we have to bend over and kiss our collective azzes goodbye.

      1. I believe the big problem with Geothermal is distance. You lose heat fast. Not sure how many people live near the Yellowstone Caldera. Probably less than 100 🙂 There is a lot of geothermal in Alberta. Maybe converting it into electricity would do the trick. Then sell the electricity to the Americans and claim the Quebec Resource Tax Credit. I always thought the dumb Albertans should take their oil-sands oil and make electricity from it. Then sell it without having to make all those equalization payments.

        1. I should have put a /s tag at the end.
I doubt even 10 live there other than the wildlife and maybe the odd park Ranger or two.

Only thing I truly believe they would fiddle with Yellowstone would be for nefarious reasons hidden by muh climate change.
I’ll leave the nefarious to your imagination.

        2. I’m thinking of forming an eco-zealot tribute band called “George Thermalgood and the Destroyers”.

  14. Ugly storm in Britain causing lots of damage. How did their saviouring windmill farms hold out? Lagacy media quiet.
