Trudeaus own lawyers probably advised that the criteria to meet the emergency act would be a tough road to legitimize. What does that matter after everyone after everyone is cleared out.   6. On Viva/Barnes Law, a commentor is claiming that the authorities are making their move on the truckers in Ottawa. Lots of police and fencing. If this turns out to be true, we need to make heroes of anyone arrested, honor them by carrying placards with their pictures. This is a battle for hearts and minds.
    BTW, I live in New England. On the way to an appointment, the other day, I passed a pro Trucker demonstration.

      MPs need to think very carefully about how they want their actions recorded in this dark moment of Canadian history. This has made Canada into a country that can no longer comment on human rights abuses or government transgressions throughout the world now.

      MPs (all MPs, Liberal, ndp, included) need to step up and stop this.

  8. I don’t know, it’s not even funny anymore. What is so alarming for me is that EVERYONE is folding. WHY ?!? The Imbecile invoked Emergency Act but this does NOT mean that it’s in effect. Or is it? Why everyone is like ‘oh well, it’s Emergency Act you know’. Banks folding, Opposition faking opposition, GG+Liberals awfully silent, police+local authority behaving like thugs for this idiot, no one in MSMedia daring to point the obvious: that he’s waay out of any legal frame and he should be fired on the spot + escorted out by RCMP.

    So what – only a few truckers + a few hundreds/thousands Canadians are still able to see + have a spine? Are we as a country, as a nation this low?

    1. Yes we are this low. The National Post has an article this morning proclaiming that the majority of Canadians support Castreau’s move to invoke the Emergency Act. Either the poll is fraudulent, or Canadians really are willing to surrender what’s left of their freedom for a little more false security. That they would do so should no longer come as a surprise to anyone paying attention. A majority of Canadians are craven fools and would gladly look the other way as our fascist government “disappears” dissenters.

    1. @Stilgar: Yes, most probably his hand is in that cookie jar as well. But this is peanuts right now. And anyway, Prime Moron did LOTS of big illegalities in the past and he only got a slap on the wrist, if any. For ex 1) he lied to the Parliament and whole Canada re SNC Lavalin (“I didn’t do it”) and after that 2) it was proved that he did obstruction of justice and he said (“oh well if I did it, it was for the jobs”). 2 big ones, still he was elected after that. And a 3rd time after that. This is NOT Canada anymore.

      And BTW writing, petitions etc will have no effect at this point. It’s too little too late. The only effect is that these bastards will fish names for a naughty list. They are already going after the donors on GSG, although gov/banks using a leaked/stolen list of private names is illegal on many levels.
