    1. This, this is someone who the conservatives need to have out front and changing the narrative. She can appeal with emotion, has logic and facts, and completely trashes the fascists.

Bravo – I don’t know much else about her but will look into it.

CPC – this is what you need to say, from every member, everywhere – if you want a chance to win the next election!

    2. Within that excellent speech was the very telling moment of a no skin in the game Grit laughing at Canadians who have lost their jobs.
Good for her to identify and singe (or is it Singh) that individual. The laughing fool on the Hill personifies the out of touch ruling class.

  1. It seems TIIC didn’t like that speech. There should have been more response. In her speech, she should have pointed out the latest science John Hopkins published after sifting through THOUSANDS of studies.

So do we start placing bets when the helicopter lifts off from parliament or the PM’s house?

Maybe there’s some family property on a little island in the Caribbean he can go to for R&R. It’s a shame that island just increased private food sellers’ tax by 10%. Unfortunately, he’ll be back gladhanding at the UN and causing even more mischief.

  2. Raquel represents the best of Canadian womanhood. As beautiful as she is thoughtful, realistic and plain-spoken. Her father the farmer should be proud of her.

Catherine McKenney is every humorless, frigid bulldyke nun who ever betrayed someone’s daughter, raving about priapic demons as she did so.

    1. I’m afraid so. From her opening remarks she seems clueless about how deep down ALL liberals wish to send us to gulags and the grave by the millions.

    2. Big picture comments about liberal corruption will not sway those who are driven by emotion. She has the perfect tact here, with an emotional delivery she hammered home all the essential facts.

As I said above, I don’t know much about her but this is how you wake up those emotional sloths who are scared of their own shadow.

  3. Wait! Isn’t it Black History month? Shouldn’t this right honorable MP be calling all her constituents “racists” or something? You KNOW that’s what your PM is doing, err … PM Blackface.

  4. I would be very careful about jumping on anyone’s bandwagon after just one good showing in Question Period. Remember O’Toole rebranded himself as true-blue just to get the leadership.

    1. I remain skeptical. I have listened to politicians of all stripes speak for a long time. The end results never seem to match up with the statements made. The words show me always come to mind .

      1. This should be the Conservatives time to shine. The Turd has never been politically weaker than he is right now. Unfortunately neither have the CPC. I’ve voted Conservative at all levels since turning 18 and I’ve had enough. Every leadership race they change the rules, making it harder and harder for real conservatives to make the run, practically ensuring that the weakest candidate wins. They all talk the talk when they want our votes but as soon as they get their seat they just sit back and wait for their pensions to kick in.
I was skeptical about O’Toole because everything he’d done and said prior to the leadership race gave him a very pink complexion. Then after winning he began showing his true colours. I held my nose and voted CPC anyway because our local PPC candidate was nowhere to be found. Never again. If they want my vote then they have a lot of changes to make. Coronating Pollievre isn’t one of them. I like the guy and under other circumstances would happily vote for him, but I’ve been burnt one too many times. They have to prove themselves to me first.

    2. You will see me attach the Future PM moniker to any Conservative politician who shows some mettle. Doesn’t mean I support any one of them in particular.

    1. The only people who ever talk about building bridges between the left and the right are the people on the right. That is because conservatism is essentially based on principle. The right believes that in equality of opportunity and level playing fields and as such there is all kinds of room for different opinions. Not the left. They are based on ideology and there is no room for dissent. It you do not believe as they do, there is no room for you in their world. They want you compliant and obedient or they want you gone and are willing villainize you and even destroy you to create their utopia.
You cannot build a bridge with that. I do not know why we even pretend to try.

  5. Hrmmmm, do we trust a candidate that supported the O Toole for leadership?
does she have experience outside of politics?
what did she do before being elected, and after her various previous losses?

I am not of the “one speech in the commons makes a conservative” camp

  6. Pretty speech. At least a year too late

The hares are lying wounded, but the tortoises have sat so long they’ve forgotten how to walk.

    1. Too true.
They see the crowd slowing swinging and are running to get in front of it.
Well, near the front of of the crowd….but not too near, just in case….

Guys like Max who fought this from day one have mountains more credibility.
To me the CPC will be on COD until they actually do something.
They might get my vote and my cash after they deliver, maybe.

  7. Therapeutics , were was the bit about therapeutics? I know that the whole issue is very complex, but these politicians need to do their home work better, and quit listening to partisan hacks, and that goes for both sides of the issue.

She does a very good delivery and all, and is easy on the eyes, but I will wait and see before declaring her a true conservative.

  8. All very nice, but the MP under the stifling leadership of O’Fool hasn’t said much about the dictatorship governing our country the last 18 months.

  9. I loved the spontaneous unscripted jabs at the ‘laughing Lib’. ‘Well done; That Woman!’
