If you have a bit more time, grab the beverage of your choice and some popcorn and enjoy Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson and his merry band of fellow hyperbolic nitwits exaggerate every single sentence out of their mouths.  Watson is not actually the worst though.  There’s an unhinged maniac named Carole Anne Meehan who you have to see to believe.  You will actually hear her calling for “filling up the Armoury, next to City Hall, with geared up riot police” to serve as a threat against the protesters.  This is a Canadian elected official proposing such actions against civilians.  If Meehan is ever appointed to become an ambassador, say to Switzerland, goodness knows there’s going to be Canadian soldiers fighting the farmers in the Swiss Alps!

  4. Meehan thinks this is a golden opportunity to display her loyalty to the elites and climb up the totem pole. Her ward isn’t anywhere close to the protest. If you live there, the only way you could conclude Ottawa is burning is by watching too much CBC News and never leaving the house.

    In a sane world, only Menard, McKenney and Fleury would be screaming blue murder about the Convoy. The rest of the city council would be ignoring them and focusing on helping businesses and families move on from Wuhan flu.

    The city’s only real obligation is to ensure that peaceful protests can go on peacefully, free from interference from leftist rent-a-mobs.

    I agree with the Bolsheviks on the Ottawa city council on this much: Trudeau shit the bed. Cleaning it up is his responsibility.

    1. Occurred to me last week when they were publicly scrapping, then Pence announced he was running in 2024. Not surprised. Makes a lot of sense. Trump must know more than he’s saying.
      I also noticed two faced Graham is backing away from supporting him in 2024. Probably throwing in with Pence.

  14. It would appear as though the best way to house 30,000 homeless people is to invite them into your home. Or at least this is what the local politicians in San Jose California are asking. No details if the politicians plan to house the homeless.

    The landlords are being paid to house the homeless? By the government?

    Oh. This is a voluntary program funded by private donations and local landlords and they already have 2 more landlords signed up. Two down, twenty-nine thousand nine-hundred and ninety-eight more to go.
