  1. Butts is the poster-boy for everything that is wrong with Canada.
He epitomizes the elite’s snobbery and has an unfathomable disdain for the working class.
I wouldn’t give him the steam of my piss.

  2. I thought that Guilbeault not Butts was Hans Gruber. Butts is the kind of guy that Hans Gruber would take the lunch money from.

  3. Who knows, maybe we still might see Peterson atop a big rig on Parliament Hill. After he’s raked in a cool tens of millions south of the border, he can afford taking the risk now.

    1. If you had speaking engagements lined up many weeks, or months, in advance, and people bought tickets to those events, eager for you to show and hear you speak, would YOU simply blow them off?

  4. Butts’ gives it away with the fact that nowhere in Dr. Peterson’s tweets did Dr. Peterson mention Butts time in public office. Butts equated the charge of being corrupt with his time in public office, not Peterson.

  5. Butts
    – got caught cheating on his expense account and had to return thousands of dollars to the federal government
    – refused to testify underoath at a Parliamentary committee
    – after leaving his job as Trudeau’s principal private secretary in disgrace has received “consulting” contracts from the Trudeau government

    1. Did that expense account cheating include the approximately $250,000 he attempted to charge for a household move from Toronto to Ottawa (or some such) I believe?

Gerald Butts, the Prime Minister’s principal secretary, and Katie Telford, his chief of staff, were reimbursed for moving their families from Toronto to Ottawa, a source told The Globe. One move cost almost $127,000, while the other was more than $80,000, although it’s not clear which expenses were associated with which aide.

How much did Butts and Telford get paid for the move?

According to the breakdown posted on Butts’ Facebook page, Telford received $80,382.55 and Butts received $126,669.56 to cover the cost of their moves. Telford is repaying $23,373.71 and Butts is repaying $20,799.10 for those “personalized cash payouts.”

      1. Rob

The moving expenses were what I was referring to.

I didn’t have time to look it up. Thanks for reminding us all.

I wonder if Butts actually repaid the money. They announced they would. But Liberals announce lots of things they never do.

        1. it doesn’t matter, although this was a clear case of fraud, it was never referred for criminal investigation and charges filed, because “liberal privilege”

  6. The very, very last thing Butts wants is a trial about how honest Peterson’s words were. What a poser.

Anyways, if a simple comment like that is enough for litigation, then Trudeau should be facing about a 10 million strong class-action libel suit right about now.

  7. Peterson is right over the target, that is why he will be taking flak. Butt’s is Canada Soro’s, a backroom manipulator, a rat who hates being drawn into the light. Peterson who love to go head to head with Butt’s in a courtroom, I would donate big time to watch that show, but not on GoFraudMe.

  8. It is highly informative that the most goonish of all leftist goons in Canadian government is defending Erin O’Toole … lamenting the removal of Erin O’Toole … by foreign “MAGA” agents. Wow. Look who is coming to the aid of O’Toole! Trudeau’s right cheek man.

  9. Oozing equal parts ( i) self-righteousness, (ii) unearned arrogance, and (iii) the “big-fish-in-a-small-pond”-style smugness endemic of many a tinpot Ottawa pooh-bah, Butts is Justin’s own personal ballwaxer/foreskin-cleaner who, with his facile smears of anyone who disagrees with him, is as loathsome any oleaginous sycophant that the Canadian political swamp has ever produced. He is, in Booth Tarkington’s memorable phrase, a mere barbarous mechanism.

  10. Wasn’t Butts salary and benefits declared a cabinet secret? I look forward to an investigation into his affairs. His tweets etc. display an attitude of someone who is putting something over on the taxpayer and thinks he is untouchable. A prime promise during the CPC leadership campaign would be to thoroughly investigate lib spending. Go for their pocketbooks.
