You are leaving out the fact that the cardboard sign spread the hate message “Mandate Freedom.”

It could be effectively argued that Canadian legacy and social media are currently a greater threat to our rights and freedoms than the Liberal Party, itself. On a side note…. Why do so many American “conservative news providers” STILL cite CNN as a credible source in their own articles? I encountered this twice, just over the weekend… there is no excuse for this! I believe far too big a portion of our own “rightist media” is controlled by RINO’s, CINO’s, or just plain chickenshits.

Ironically the Trudeau media have no problem using the war dead in their distraction lies smearing normal Canadians who are protesting.
Why don’t any of Trudeau’s paid fluffers ask him the obvious: Why do we need a mandate for a vaccination that didn’t protect him from omicron?
Instead of doing their jobs as journalists they are lined up for their turn to repeat his lies smearing the protesters.

Robert, you are right. Candice Malcolm does indeed “expertly dissect” the media lies provides a first class report on the trucker convoy. Who could ever have predicted just a month ago that Canada would suddenly a world beater in the freedom movement.

For that reason — and maybe I’m rationalizing here ‘cos I’m tired — I am wary about moving to apparently freer jurisdictions because these sudden changes can be negative as well.
I was born a freeman in Canada. When I came back from Florida in March 2020, I was a prisoner in my own country. Stupid fucking people were lied to about about a flu virus. I was right then and I am right now. If you think I am wrong you can procced to tell me why. Things are never what they seem and change is going to happen. We cannot allow any change to eliminate individual freedom. Without individual freedom even the collective, as much as I hate that word, is not free. There has been very little intellectual rigor applied to any aspect of analysis of the whu who flu, commonly called “covid”. The whole damn thing has been a fraud since day one yet, fools still line up for a shot that can’t stop the flu but can kill them. Many despise my use of the word stupid, but hey, they are stupid.

I have told a few people that I would choose jail over a coerced experimental gene edit injection. Freedom and liberty are so much a part of my core being that I could not live with myself were I to submit to this monstrosity. If absolutely necessary I would make my grand exit which the stoic philosophers consider a noble choice.
Why did the so called elites turn themselves into a pathetic joke? Here are some thoughts from Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit.

Turns out Trudeau is exceptionally clownish. He had to know the convoy was coming for weeks, or did the dope believe the Canadian media? He had plenty of time to prepare a dignified counter punch. Instead, you got that lame statement from his hideout, that’s the best they could do? Nothing visionary or statesmanlike there. It was, dare I say it, derivative. Lame, there, I said it again.
Are media narratives dangerous if you combine them, like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters?

Could the Freedom banner on the Terry Fox statue really be part of a huge Russian geopolitical power struggle?
If anything it shows the utter contempt the left has for the working class. Read a tweet from a Leftist chucklehead this morning suggesting cops hose down the outside of truck doors in order to freeze them shut thereby trapping the drivers inside.

Ain’t enough stupid cops in Ottawa to make Akin’s idiotic idea work. Besides, commandeer them under which para of the CCC or provincial law? Lord, but those journos are imbeciles. I used to think Akin was one of the few with a glimmer of sense, but no. If nothing else, the trucker protest has revealed the chasm between our so-called “betters” and those whose work allows the parasites to live in the manner they demand.

I would caution all those that respond to swastikas in the defensive, that it is exactly where the institutional left and the Spawn’s court eunuch media want you to be. All responses to them should be something like: “since this rally is for freedom and opposed to the government’s discriminatory removal of freedom, it appears that someone equates this government’s actions with the fascism of Germany which may have some similarities but I’m sure we all don’t agree that they have gone that far, yet”.
Today’s left actually does have a lot in common with the Nazis.

Kudos to Candice Malcolm– she’s right on.
Don’t know what to make of this from the Ottawa Citizen, but It looks like the government could have gotten out ahead of the convoy and won this on a technicality. They could have been in the forefront.
