          She is highly intelligent and accomplished. Her only drawback is being a social conservative. Her stance on abortion will have the progs go insane if she ever becomes CPC leader. But she does check a lot of boxes.

          O’Toole can’t win against Trudeau, so unless Trudeau steps down, the CPC is destined to spend along time in Opposition. They need a new leader, members should seriously consider Lewis.

            You prefaced this racist screed with ‘not to sound racist’ but that didn’t make it any less insanely racist.

        2. She is a wonderful person and very intelligent. Don’t know if it makes her a good manager or tactician. Still, I would vote for her in a heartbeat.

    3. She impressed me during the leadership race but having never held elective office she needs seasoning to hold her own in politics. A real leader would plan for the future and have put her in the shadow cabinet and on committees. O’Toole did not do this. I expect great things in the future but not yet.
      Pierre has a young family and has time. A good new leader has at best ten to fifteen years of political life. Pierre is playing it smart to wait. Without the burdens of leadership he has the leeway to attack.
      Best bet might be a retread like Peter McKay who has the ability to hit the ground running and take on and destroy Trudeau or Freeland, spend a term as PM and set the agenda for recovery. Even Max has the potential. On the other side I see Starbucks baristas.

  3. Excellent interview. My only problem is with the way she side stepped the question about whether the conservatives have done a good enough job challenging the government on this issue. She did not criticize the current leader Justin O’Toole. She should have gone for the throat while she had her chance.

    You can’t teach political instincts. Maybe it is to her honour that she not take advantage of the weak.

  4. Leslyn might get kicked out of O’Toole’s moral cowardice alliance party for attending the rally, particularly for not moral equivocating. She may have to go over to the PP.

    1. If he is that stupid, what is he going to do about Polievre and Bergen? Personally I would welcome all three of them joining the PPC and showing O’Fool what really constitutes a Conservative. It would also give Max representation in the House so that he could not be excluded from the next leaders’ debate.

    1. Hope you weren’t referring to the ‘Red Ensign’ that was walked by in the background. It even had the properly coloured green leaves, as flown from 1921-1957 as our unofficial national flag. (And currently, an unofficial ‘I hate Liberals’ flag) Leaves were changed to red in 1957-1965, then the current Maple leaf flag was introduced. It wasn’t the flag of Ontario.

The Government of Canada is a private possession of the Crown, and not an organ of the people. The Ruling Class decides who the PM and Premier is. The Ruling Class decides who runs the government and who the Senators and Judges are. Canada is not a democracy. Canada has never been a democracy.

    Canadians must learn and maintain their life station in the Queen’s Realm. You will be obedient. You will STFU. You will follow orders.

  15. Doesn’t it seem strange that a helicopter painted with the Fuck Trudeau slogan is allowed into the airspace above Parliament ? Who allowed this ? And why ?

    1. Good question, wanna bet it’s a false flag operation run by the RCMP? Any call sign letters on the helo?

    2. I checked the aviation charts and there is indeed a small CYR (restricted airspace) up to 3,000ft over Parliament Hill and another over 24 Sussex. The airspace over Ottawa is quite complicated, partly due to the presence of Rockcliffe and Gatineau airports. The CYR over Parliament Hill also falls within the Class C Airspace (which is a 5 NM radius and 3000ft height above ground from the centre of Ottawa International Airport) and also falls within a designated High Density Traffic Area.

      Basically what that means is that nobody can enter the Class C airspace without clearance, and when you are in there, you are subject to full control.

      So getting to your comment – yes, it is strange and the pilot may get a nasty call from Transport Canada.

    Apparently the same carpetbaggers that ran the Yellow Vest protests are in charge of this thing too. Remember all the good the YV protests accomplished? Me neither.

    1. We can only hope. Fact is, the truckers will leave Ottawa overnight and tomorrow having accomplished nothing of use, the prime minister will return home and everything will return to where things were this time last week. As it should be. This is Canada, not some bumfuck rodeo clown show, right? Can’t wait to see Justin and Jagmeet fist bump in the House tomorrow.
