You picked up a firearm and did not prove it i.e. confirm that it did not contain live ammunition. You pointed the firearm at something or someone you, presumably, did not intend to shoot. You pulled the trigger while the firearm was pointed at someone or something you, presumably, did not intend to shoot. Thus you violated three of the most basic rules of firearm safety, each of them being redundant i.e. each being sufficient in itself to ensure that no lethal shooting would occur.

It amazes me that hollywoods insurance and Baldwins insurance company have not required all actors, directors and producers to be certified in firearm safety.
When I go into a gun store and request to handle a firearm the clerk Proves the firearm is unloaded.
When the clerk hands me the firearm I Prove the firearm is unloaded.
After checking out the firearm and hand it back to the clerk he Proves the firearm is unloaded EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve visited.
