    2. Looks like the seemingly thin-skinned Alberta Health Minister, Jason Copping, is in way over his head in this portfolio. This is a new position for him since September 21, 2021.
      As a Provincial Minister he likely would’ve been insulted to witness a protest during his time off in front of his home. Imagine the humiliation having ‘deplorables’ show up?

      Notice the small sign on the telephone pole? It said:
      “Jason Copping — Wanted For: Treason, Extortion, Mass Murder”
      Another sign read: “A real Health Minister would investigate the 21,504 reports of death from Covid Vaccines in VAERS, not tweet a groundless dismissive article about them.”

      The truth hurts!

      Mr Copping was wrong to have called the Calgary Police. As a lawyer he should’ve known better. No one trespassed on his property, the small group of about 50 people did their homework rather well in finding Mr Copping’s Calgary-Varsity property. They stayed on public property and left after one hour. The group was fully within their rights.

      The wrong shall fail, the right, prevail. Let’s hope a Judge in Court will pronounce a dismissal of this case.

      1. In my opinion, we are at a turning point. People are changing their minds about what has gone on. They are fed up with the restrictions, with being misled about the vaccines and with the unfair treatment of some of their fellow citizens.

        We must encourage and support those people all across the country who are in the process of rethinking their blind obedience to the authoritarian rule that is ruining our country. We must quicken them to be courageous and to speak out to friends, neighbours and anyone else who will listen.           I believe we are well beyond that turning point; that the government manipulation, campaign of fear, and authoritarianism has been too deeply entrenched into the minds and psyche of the nation.

          People have been only too willing to pray to the government to “save them” from the horrors of Covid at the cost of their own personal liberty.

          A while ago, I quoted my brother’s screed, condemning all those who still believe in rights and liberties as “stupids”. It would be safe to assume that you don’t know my brother. He is normally a very-well grounded, rational person with intelligence beyond the average citizen. He’s particularly keen on history, especially the history surrounding WWII, yet somehow, he seems to have forgotten the lessons from that history.

          If my brother can be swayed so easily by the fear campaign propagated by our very own government against it’s own people, then I’m afraid that, collectively as a nation, we already have gone off over the edge of a cliff.

            I have seen and heard many instances of pastors beating up their congregations with ”Romans 13 – obey your goverents” schtick. Many of my church attending friends have been taught this, heard it from the radio preachers too. The sheep are being lied to by their leaders who love control more than freedom. They do not understand that the genetic manipulation of us as humans is taking place. Dr. David Martins has done amazing work to expose what is happening and the catastrophe which is waiting to happen in the days ahead.
            These are indeed perilous times.
            Educated fools are all around us, they can be intelligent but have no common sense.

      But I have heard murmurs that even the judiciary has been bought off by Black Turd II along with the most powerful lawyer practices in the country , similar to the bought and paid for MSM.

      Sadly I think we are past voting and legal remedies to get us out of this and any further messes our Overlords have for us.

    Our political system is full of corrupted people of yes men who know better than real engineers and consultants in their area of expertise as specific corporations, companies or individual entities are given special privileges over the rest of it’s citizens by Bribes or Mainstream Media’s Propaganda machine of psychologists or other created experts who are bought for their propaganda expertise.
    Buying and creating projects that were never properly engineered or have actual experienced experts to consult the viability of these projects. Our politicians and governments know better and create their own media experts as these projects fail or will fail spectacularly.

      1. Today, Monday January 3, is a statutory holiday for government workers, the banks and other well-monied elites who have done well during the China pandemic. Ergo, the Bong has the day off.

        2. Actually, David, it’s a stat for any Monday to Friday worker, as Saturday was their normal day off. Can guarantee that downtown Calgary is essentially closed. For those businesses for whom Saturday was a normal work day, January 1st was their stat. They’re open today.
          Statutory holidays are not fun to sort out. Back in the day, had a couple of clients whose normal work weeks were Tuesday – Saturday. Their response to Monday stat holidays was to close Saturday and pay the employees for that day. Technically, I don’t think they had to back then, but this was their way of ensuring their employees were not disadvantaged because of the business schedule.

    3. OJ, if he’s busy paddling his taxpayer funded canoe in circles out in the middle of Harrington Lake, then he’s not screwing things up in Ottawa. Perhaps he’ll get lost & never return. Leave well enough alone.

He has increased two of his taxes (the Canada Pension Plan and Employment Insurance “premiums”) to start the new year. The CPP tax is going up by a staggering 10.5% , “the largest in three decades”.

    “Aside from inflationary prices at the check-out, Canadians will see more pandemic-related hits to their wallets when the new year starts.
    As of January 1, premiums for Canada Pension Plan will be hiked higher than usual. Employment Insurance premiums are also on the rise.”

    2. Actually, Ottawa MJ, only the CPP rate increased so even the minimum wage workers will feel that pinch. It went from 5.45% to 5.70%, with the maximum allowable contribution ($3,499.80) reached when pay is $64,900. The EI rate didn’t change, staying at 1.58%, but the maximum pay went from $56,300 to $60,300 so only those workers making above $56,300 will notice an increased deduction. However, in 2023, CPP undergoes a massive change when there is an extra surcharge for workers making above the maximum pay. Apparently the government doesn’t trust taxpayers to sort out their own financial affairs so as to have proper provision for retirement, and is forcing employees (and the self-employed) to buy into their scheme. One can only hope the managers of the CPP portfolio are investing wisely; have heard they have money in China which is not good news.
