“We have to pivot.” Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s chief medical officer, said that line more than once during his Thursday press conference.
Testing is also about to undergo huge changes. No more lineups for tests, because effective Friday publicly-funded PCR testing will only be given to high-risk persons who are symptomatic. The government is asking members of the general public who have mild symptoms to not seek testing.
“Public Health Ontario has calculated the risk of hospitalization and deaths with Omicron is 54% lower.”
If this risk was significant before, a 54% reduction is still significant.
They previously exaggerated and inflated the risk and they’re now looking for an excuse out of their lying mess.
Oh, and still not telling people to pay attention to nutrition, including maintaining a good level of vitamin D.
They are trying to save face.
The public will lap this up, of course.

I’m waiting for the Robert Falcon Scott moment of this two week/month/year curve bender carved on a testing line-up wall:

Expect this to change. An accelerated testing regime is meant to support the covid tyrannies, so that the media can report increasing numbers of positive test results (more testing, more positives) and quit reporting about numbers of hospitalizations, percentages of vaccinated versus unvaccinated dying or being hospitalized … because omicron is less lethal.
They will do everything they can to coerce more vaccinations, even when the risk analysis says to not be vaccinated.

I think media and govt overplayed their hand by inducing heretofore unseen levels of hysteria and paranoia in the public. The narrative was already slowly coming undone before the moronic variant. But the masses responded accordingly to the fear by swamping all available tests, regardless of injection or health status. So the establishment effectively cornered themselves and now have to “pivot” as a way to ration the Chinese test kit supplies. The only way for them to get themselves out of this is by issuing shocking, common sense, guidance like “stay home if you are sick” and, “omicron isn’t that bad”.
Otherwise the entire economy would have collapsed with every functioning person at home due to previously announced edicts regarding contact exposure Isolation.
This far into this nonsense, I am cynical enough to think the elites aren’t backing off their measures by now accepting reality. This was merely a self inflicted wound. The key for them will be to maintain and even increase the jab narrative. Hopefully this latest episode wakes up enough people to their ruse… But here in kanada, I wouldn’t count on it.

My sister, who loves those non-vaccines, called me yesterday outraged that they are allowing nurses in the US to go to work if they test covid positive. My response, still think it’s about the virus? Oh we’ve been played big time and they know we are going to rebound and hold them all legally responsible for the damage their policies have done to society and to us individually.
After 20 months of terrorizing the public our elected officials are now trying to calm the fearful masses they helped create. I suspect a large portion of the public will choose to remain fearful and demand more restrictions, punishing their leaders at election time for not being more oppressive.
My wife visited family in Ontario recently. I would have described them as rational people before Covid. She was the first non-household person in their home in almost 2 years. Everyone wore a mask despite the fact that everyone was vaccinated and my wife had to submit a negative PCR test to fly there. However, at supper time, everyone sat together and removed their masks while they ate. They are no longer rational.
These are the people the government convinced to fear their own families. Reasoning with them now is too late.

The polio vaccine actually worked and not everyone got it or was forced to get it. A working vaccine doesn’t require everyone to get it to work.

The “seat belts while driving/ hockey helmets while playing” argument might be comparable if discussing whether to wear a mask. You can take off a seat belt, helmet, or mask and leave little more than some temporary marks where they fit poorly. Unfortunately, the covid seat belts are lap belts and the hockey helmets are Wayne Gretzky Jofa models. Safetyish but not safe.
However, getting an injection is like requiring the seat belt to be permanently stitched into your flesh or having the helmet riveted to your skull.
Never mind the injections are not stopping anyone from catching, carrying, or transmitting. Nice to see the Flames back playing games again but about 23 of 25 players and most of the staff tested positive despite being double or triple injected.
Fascism can simply be described as compelled or compulsory unity. Everyone is required to do the same, say the same, and think the same with punishment for anyone who disagrees or is merely not sufficiently enthusiastic/ affirming.

I think that Ontario Public Health should be forcibly pivoted out of office and into the private sector so that they can experience in real time the bovine excrement that they shovel at us every single day and the stench that it causes.
This is third world stuff.
And the problem is people won’t know if they have natural immunity or not. That way they MUST get the next booster.
Everybody who has a false positive and then gets covid is used as evidence that natural immunity isn’t effective.
It’s a lie of course because false positives don’t make your body produce antibodies.
They loved that extra testing and the additional false positives until it got out of hand.
Seems to me that the way to define ‘Peak Stupid” is when it kills you.

The powers that be have committed too much effort to ever admit they were wrong. I have a number of family and friends that are supposedly educated yet are so immersed in the fear that has been spread that they are afraid to even look at the other side of the coin regarding doctors, nurses, specialists that are espousing the alternative aspect and remedies to this virus. I’ve tried for the past, almost, two years to get them to educate themselves. It is to no avail, as Forest once said, “Stupid is as stupid does.” Evidently education is no measure of intelligence and we see that day and daily from family and friends, who condemn those of us who have avoided the jab having understood it is an experimental procedure.
