  1. The best way to fight this fear-mongerring lie is to completely ignore it.

    Don’t wear a mask, walk into stores like you own the place.

    Like I did with Sport Chek older sales associate yesterday when he asked me to put on my mask, I looked at him straight in the eyes and firmly said NO!! He backed off and said he would stand right where he was, 8 feet away, fear in his eyes. But he continued to help me. I was friendly, polite and thanked him for his help and wished him a Merry Christmas.

    Take control, the sheeple will submit like they are being programmed to. It works.

    2. Our journey to recapturing liberty begins with one step. Good on you. We can depend on more soon as the Omicron case falls apart.

      But we must punish government who “protect” us from nonexistent risks (ie one in a million+), that of course never happen, while admitting their decisions are not based on data, as our illustrious BC Bonnie did by acknowledging Omicron is mild, with observations fully supporting that hypothesis while disproving the large caseloads causing “more” illnesses, and after admitting bars, restaurants and health clubs haven’t been responsible for outbreaks, instead assume worst case scenarios (for them) while confirming massive costs to our freedom and livelihoods, millions of Canadians deprived of their work, not over covid, but by incompetent, negligent measures.

      If we somehow get out of this with our liberty and economic freedom intact, we must ensure this is never allowed to happen again.

  3. I think we’ve crossed the Rubicon, we’re clearly divided into two camps and there’s no turning back. Those that have bought into the panic are now so balls deep into the herd mentality which, after reading the link has reached Orson Welle’s War of the Worlds proportions, they’re willing to punish the unbelievers to mentally shelve their own critical thinking failures. Even those who’ve recognized late that something isn’t quite right aren’t willing to jump ship at this stage. Denial by another name. “Surely 80% of the country can’t all be wrong, so I must be right” will be the little voice in every true believer’s head as he snitches on his neighbour.
    I truly thought we’d reach a juncture where people would collectively say “Eff this shit”
    That hasn’t happened.

  7. Hosting Christmas eve dinner for a small part of the family and our neighbours. Then getting dressed up and heading out with the wife and boys for Christmas brunch. Then I plan on drinking and watching football and basketball for like 8 hours straight while the kids play with toys. Going to be a fantastic weekend! Merry Christmas!

  8. Steeling myself, I watched today’s noontime hour-long-plus interview with Justin Trudeau, Freeland, Tam and selected Ministers referencing the Covid-19 Omicron variant and Canada’s planned response.
    Trudeau struck me as a pathological liar, oozing insincerity, literally play acting…a fully ingrained pattern of phony behaviors without reference to reality. He is incapable of maturing.
    Simply put, they will be tripling down on lockdowns, social distancing, masking and other proven ineffective measures. They repeatedly referred to their modeling as a driver of this Liberal government’s response.
    Members of the Canadian main stream press tossed softball questions that did nothing to hold the government to account.
    They are not being forthcoming. We are not in good hands.

      Fanciful true, but unless we stop him and his mendactic band of court jesters imposing real harms on us, he and they will never stop.

      This gets nuttier and more dangerous by the day, with every overreaction and overreach from proletariat dictatorships that won’t end.

  10. Omicron cases in South Africa, where the variant first emerged less than 30 days ago are already declining. The competition’s on to name the next deadly variant, which will no doubt rear its head in 3 to 4 weeks.

The NY Post article is one one the most refreshing and illuminating articles I’ve read on covid, the media response and politicians incapability to weigh public risks against their benefit and absence of lack of risk management ability, other than to recklessly gamble with other’s money and lives, our society and our economy, especially their cavalier and craven attitudes causing child abuse.

    For those who haven’t read the whole article (which you should), here are the best tidbits:
