Academics at University College London (UCL) are being encouraged to “check their privilege” and reconsider the number of courses that focus on “dead white men” if they want to secure a promotion.
The policy is part of a UCL initiative that is aimed at “challenging traditional Eurocentric, male-dominated curricula and ensuring the work of marginalised scholars on race, sexuality, gender, and disability are fairly represented in curricula”.

OK … and how about students “check their privilege” of living in the comfy world built almost entirely by old dead white men? Start living in the dirt as did all the old dead brown and black men … who incidentally were dead by the average age of about 44 yo.

I don’t see why we can’t have separate Universities where you learn nothing but the ancestral pagan practices of African pygmy’s or South Asian aboriginal chicken farming studies. Preferably on location.
