No matter what her position is on lockdowns, this woman actually thinks one of the primary reasons kids go to school is to be fed and to make sure their parents aren’t abusing them?
I don’t think she said that. She mentioned meals as one thing kids in some areas get at school. Schools also are a major source for identifying child abuse. Most of us are aware of the problems with learning issues when kids are going to school but many do not think of these other dimensions. Dr. Atlas (Trumps advisor briefly on Covid policy) mentions in an interview something like 200,000 instances of child abuse not caught because the kids were not going to school. Starvation is another issue. So many new immigrants work in restaurants and send money home which is a major source of survival for people in poor countries. I heard an estimate of how many 3rd world people had likely died from starvation due to Western lockdowns- Can’t remember the figure, but it was shocking. The lockdowns have been devastating in so many ways. Sadly these problems are not discussed in the news — in favour if stories about poor countries being in peril from more chic issues like — “global warming”. It’s pathetic.
I think that putting a mask on a child is child abuse. What I gather from this woman and Linda seems to back her up is that children should be sent to school so that they can be fed and abused.
I agree — whole heartedly — about the masks. I am sickened every time I see some poor kid wesring a mask. Children should be sent to school — period. And if some schools in poor neighborhoods offer meals to prevent malnutrition, that’s all to the good. School play an important role identifying instances of child abuse in the home.
People should not have children if they can’t afford to feed them.

My sister is a teacher in New York City and during the lockdowns children were able to go and pick up food at their school. Many of these inner city children are poor and do rely on the food provided by the government. As a child growing up in NJ, my father lost his job And I was able to get subsidized lunches for 15 cents. I was mortified as I had to show my special card, but I was grateful for a full belly.

YeahWell – I agree that nukes are probably the only reason we haven’t had a third world war but as far as hordes waiting at the doorstep, have you seen the southern boarders of the US and Europe (and Canada to a lesser extent)? The invasions haven’t stopped, they just aren’t being lead by armoured personnel carriers. The results can be similar to war, just not as many deaths.

Case in point. I live near the Canadian border and Canadians are now visiting again. They all wear masks – 100%. They must know they don’t work but they wear them anyway. Here in Montana the mask mandate was tossed 12 months ago and outside medical facilities and some government brainwashing centers (public schools) no one wears the stupid things. You would think that Canadians would come here to be be free of this crap.

In canuckistan it is practically impossible to make a living wage without being a part of the government system. It could be done but it is very difficult. If somebody is well off there is a 90% chance it is due to benefiting from some government scam whereas in the US doing well privately is much more likely. That is why there is very high compliance with gubmint edict no matter how stupid here in canuckistan. What she is saying, protect the most vulnerable and don’t lock down, are what epidemiologist Michael Osterholm said to Joe Rogan in March 2020. It is a serious virus. Osterholm predicted that the Wuhan Flu would be 10 – 15 times worse (for mortality) than seasonal flu. He was pretty much bang on (1.4% for vs 0.1%). The most vulnerable are obvious from the following stat: only “(4.5% of all deaths) occurred in patients under the age of 65 who did not have an underlying medical condition (or for which it is unknown whether they had or did not have an underlying condition).”. Why aren’t more governments listening to these world renowned epidemiologists instead of celebrities like Fauci and CDC head Rochelle P. Walensky.
