Give Jason Kennedy credit; he has realized that a fair few residents of Alberta would not tolerate his cancelling Christmas so he actually loosened restrictions so families could kegakkt foregather. Of course ex-prem Notley is outraged but – given it’s my understanding that, during her regime, AHS seriously prioritized bureaucrats over beds (a doctor from Red Deer has documented how the ICU at their hospital lost beds and they were told to ship cases to the smaller hospitals nearby even though a fair few of said cases were from the smaller hospitals because they needed ICU care) – she has to bare a fair bit of responsibility for the current lack of “front-line” resources. And it’s just as well; have friends who were seriously discussing how to “smuggle” the extra households in as they were determined to have a proper family Christmas.

    3. Initially I was optimistic that Kenney might hold some Conservative values, but he sold out just like all of the other bureaucrats. I don’t know if it’s because he got his snout into the feed trough or because the polls were showing Albertans want a nanny-state. I suspect it might be the latter given how many sheep never even bleated a “baah” when the vax passport was implemented. UCP is dead to me too, but what’s funny is I think Kenney will lose the next election because he didn’t fold soon enough for Albertans. Notley will govern them good and hard just like they want.

It’s something I’ve suspected for some time & was confirmed this summer by my own rural UCP MLA. I believe your prediction of Kenney’s loss is bang on. I don’t think shingles is contagious, but it did make similar snake oil promises: Does not confer immunity, but lessens the symptoms should you contract shingles. We can no longer trust what the people with needles mean when they call something a vaccine. I’m never getting another flu shot – the conspiracy theorists might be right to be wary.

    I honestly thought collective hysteria had an end point. Especially when it includes risking the health of children for perhaps decades to come, if they live that long.     The doc says it’s not recommended to visit our older parents, grandparents etc. even if we’re twice vaccinated and they are thrice vaccinated. He is a respectable looking guy, he’s a doctor and he was asked a question which I believe is his professional opinion. Why is everyone ridiculing him instead of phoning their own family doctor and asking the same question?? My own family doctor gave me a much similar answer when I asked the same question. Immunization protects me from the bad effects of a virus. It doesn’t necessarily stop me from spreading it. I believe that’s the science behind his answer. Why is that so complicated to understand??

    1. Because all doctors in your province (if you are CDN) are effectively employed by the provincial government. Every day their office receives the email on covid policy from on high. Your doctor simply says what the “top doc” says to say. If they don’t, they get fired. And it doesn’t matter if the province, such as the cesspool that is SK, is absolutely crying for decent doctors who will tolerate coming to such a backwater. They’ll still cut them loose.

      You’ve been misled. The reason they are telling people to continue to wear masks despite being fully vaccinated.. the reason they tell you not to go home for christmas.. to go out and get your third and fourth shot is not because you “may pass on the virus.” It’s because the vaccines are shit and don’t work. How many lies do you have to catch these people in before you start to question what they are saying?

    4. The city of Cambridge, Ontario is approximately 160,000 people. Currently, that same city has 10% of its population that has no family doctor. Those people would gladly phone for an opinion, but phone whom? There is no longer a patient / physician relationship to count on – I have no idea who has my medical history. My last doctor retired 5 years ago. The only replacement available has some complaints on the public record, kind of like a Pfizer vaccine – ineffective, but safe is the claim. And I agree with Richard Smacky – the remaining doctors rely on their opinion from the government that pays their salary so they are neither insightful or trustworthy with respect to COVID advice.

    Thomas!! I had the same problem on shot No. 2. Sore muscles, cough and flu-like symptoms. It took about 40 days to clear. Nothing at all on No. 1 or No. 3. I’m still fighting with my decision as well. I have a great family physician, one of the best in SW Sask. I asked him a few questions, then I phoned the Mayo Clinic. Mayo (Rochester MN) receives awards as the best diagnostic hospital in the world. They told me the exact same as my Doc. We all have to get vaxxed before it can disappear. So who do you believe??

        Given that “vaccinating” large swaths of a populace that don’t need it causes more mutated strains, and that each new variant is more impervious to the experimental “vaccines” and requires more boosters, and we have no long-term studies on side effects and are seeing issues now, I’d put little faith in any so-called “expert” who recommended the shot to anyone without comorbidities or extra risks.

    5. My understanding is that pre-covid pandemic protocols were against trying to vaccinate during a pandemic. Virologists & scientists agreed that not only would it be impossible for any proposed vaccine to complete the necessary long term trials in time, but they correctly predicted that it would do more harm than good as any vaccine that got slowly rolled out throughout the world would create selective breeding grounds for vaccine resistant variants. Instead of following this protocol, governments changed the laws to get the experimental goo authorized for use, handed out immunity to corrupt pharmaceutical companies and plunged full steam ahead against “the science”. The well thought out, established pre-covid protocol also advised to test already approved therapeutics to see if they could be re-purposed in treating symptoms or possibly reducing infection rates. This was the best way to give our immunity systems time to develop a response to the novel virus and get us on a path to herd immunity. Right from the start, re-purposing already approved therapeutics was declared heresy as it was a direct threat to the immunization program. So basically the world did exactly the opposite of what the science said to do – all for the sake of the vaccine. Doctors should have known all of this, but they went along with it. Regardless of credentials, most people within any profession are just like trail horses. They simply follow in the footsteps of the ass in front of them.

However we do have one very brave and much maligned Dr. Byram Bridle (University of Guelph), who requested Pfizer distribution data from Japan and sounded the alarm early. Dr. Malone, says that Dr. Bridle was responsible for alerting him to the dangers of these “vaccines”.

        Bridle is also part of this group: there is lots of great information on this site. I highly recommend watching the MORE HARM THAN GOOD video. It needs to be shared IMO.

    1. What they really want is to not have the freedom to live according to their own choices and free will, accepting both the benefits and drawbacks of living with personal liberty.

      They’re happiest when the government makes their life decisions for them; if some things work that’s great, and if not it’s OK because after all, the government Knows Best. And they turn on those who buck that pitiful excuse for a life philosophy: look at the hordes of drones who support travel restrictions and job loss for the unvaccinated.

      We have become a poor excuse for a country.

  24. Thomas, you can try taking some ivermectin (along with Vitamins C and D and zinc). It got me through my bout with covid.

  26. My Dad died in August. He spent most of the last year and a half of his life locked up in his apartment because of Covid. He couldn’t see the woman he loved for most of that time. I asked him if he would risk getting Covid for the chance to be able to live the rest of his life in peace and free. He said he was old enough to make his own decisions. He was 92 when he passed.

  27. I got into a fight with my mother over the boosters, she values her vaccine passport more than freedom and her health. What they’ve done to society should be criminal, I want those doctors, scientists, health experts and politicians held criminally accountable for what they’ve done.

    2. I think it’s time all of us who see what Canada and the west have become over Covid come to terms with this:

      We are NOT going to see criminal accountability.
      We are NOT going to see governments admit they were wrong.
      We are NOT going to see scientists & doctors admit they were wrong.
      We are NOT going to see the media admit they were wrong.
      We are NOT going to see the populace at large admit they were wrong.

      Not on one point, not on multiple points, not on the climate of fear, not on the erosion of our rights, not on the wicked discrimination against the unvaccinated. Probably the best we will ever see, is that it all slowly fades away with time, and mankind will shrug its collective shoulders and say, “Well we think we did the best we could,” and refuse any degree of introspection, with all parties patting themselves on the back for their actions.

      So if you continue to put your faith in mankind somehow coming to its collective senses, I fear that only depression and anxiety and fear and anger will befall you. You won’t find peace, or righteousness, or justice.

      Put your faith in God. God is eternal. God is everlasting. God is our rock. We will soon celebrate the birth of His son, who died for our sins. Follow Him, and you may find peace.

      Whatever God’s plan is for mankind and how Covid plays out, is not for us to know. We may yet have to face many tragedies. Perhaps God has chosen to use this generation to teach an important lesson to the generations yet to come. That may make no sense to us and we may wish it not to be so, but it is not for us to question God’s plan. This generation, with its governments, its societies, are but momentary things to God.

      I am finding a newfound faith in God in these troubled times. Perhaps that is its own silver lining, its own small miracle.
