It certainly is beginning to look that way. Hate to admit it, but could the Chicoms be right in blaming the U.S. for this?
If the USA intentionally or inadvertently set Wuhan Flu in motion by cooperating and at least partially funding this research, why aren’t other countries screaming about it and demanding reparations? UK, Germany, Israel, Iran……..? Who all was in on this?
Daszak contends his collaboration with WIV might already have figured out the origin of SARS-CoV-2 if “U.S. geopolitics” hadn’t “crushed” it.
He’s been working with OJ Simpson to get these things figured out.

You’re exactly correct. The only purpose of these labs is to weaponize organisms, plants, animals and humans. Read Operation Paperclip (written by a mainstream journalist) and then War Against the Weak by Edwin Black. These people are Eugenicists and the descendants of Eugenicists. Re the Trolls, I often wonder what purpose they serve as well OSF – sorry to see you go.
There have been over 1.5 MILLION comments posted to this blog since it was instituted. I don’t have the time to police them all, to police every commentator, and I don’t intend to.
This blog is maintained by volunteer efforts, and while the donations that come in are greatly appreciated, truth be told, it amounts to just a few dollars a week. And by few, I mean double digits.

Your contempt is a little bit disconcerting only because I didn’t hear that kind of grousing when readers and commenters alike vaulted Macmillan to no.1 blog status year after year back in the day when it mattered and were appreciated for it.

This is off-topic as well, but… I’m pretty sure Kate’s explained what’s up – she can think of many other uses of her time than sieving-out OT comments and petty, gratuitous and often grievously rancid insults among her commenters. SDA has exploded in popularity since I first came in here, which means thousands of comments from hundreds of commenters – and there are only so many hours in the day, and she’s got dogs to raise and her own life to live. And everybody gets sick of nonsense eventually.
I feel for you Kate, and I’m delighted SDA is still here after all these years. I don’t know if you noticed, but I virtually never comment anymore; just sick of pretty well the same things you are (and I’m pretty sure you’re sick of my battleship lore).

Speaking as one who was simply trying to reply to the DJ troll at least twice, and possibly a third time, to say that I am disappointed would be an understatement.

I hope it’s not off-topic to comment on this. It’s not my intention to be disrespectful of the proprietor. I do appreciate the time and cost that must go into maintaining this platform, (in my opinion this is more like a private charity than government-funded library), I also understand that the original intention of the platform was to enable the proprietor to broadcast her opinions to the world, (to alleviate the frustration of shouting at the radio “you don’t speak for me”). Having built the platform, she indulgently allowed our opinions to go along for the free ride.
I would consider closing all comments on the blog to be a real shame. Some of the success of the SDA brand is partially due to the variety and quantity of the reader comments. In my own case, I come here every day just to read the comments, and the comments alone. Good, bad, or otherwise, I learn things from the ordinary people who post their comments and I don’t know where I would go to get the same experience. These folks have evolved over the years, (what the heck ever became of the great “maz2”?), but the scuttlebutt and insights remain priceless.
If this is a legal liability issue then I suppose there might be little latitude permitted. The subject of comments has been recurring with an unfortunate regularity, and I sense a growing irritation from the proprietor. I do hope readers here realize the value of this website and try to restrain their language and invective before everyone loses.
