  1. This is the thing about Fat Fuck Ford, he really wants to be a good guy. He really wants to be DeSantis of Canada. He just has no balls to do it. So he makes a right decision, then gets piled on by the MSM and Karens (but I repeat myself) his noodle spines fails to hold the weight and he caves in. Expect him to cave in on this within a week.

    1. Funny how when things change in the US Elections today, they effect Ford to now be a bit more ballsy as the Democrats have lost the house in the US. This means the Republicans will be taking over in both the Senate and House. Our media is totally tied to what happens in the US.

      1. They did not; the Virginia House of Delegates changed from D to R, not the US House of Representatives. That’s next year. Although Democrats have been sounding alarm bells for months that they are likely going to lose one or both of the House and the US Senate, which is currently at 50-50, unless something happens to change things in their favor.

“he really wants to be a good guy”

think maybe you’re hearing hoofbeats and thinking zebras.

try this one on for size… “hospitals don’t work without nurses.”

      *

      1. And if the hospitals don’t work, he get’s to blame it on unvaccinated and be the MSM hero du jeur. That’s the simplest, obvious, cynical strategy used elsewhere. He doesn’t do it this time. He did not want to do it in the past. He will do it when the pressure mounts. Just like he did with vaccine passports and lockdowns. Besides, very few nurses did not take the shot. Also numerous hospitals mandated the shots anyway. So the practical arguments is moot. It is all about optics really.

      2. He is letting hospitals decide on their own. Each hospital will outdo themselves with the virtue signalling
        …”if it saves one life”…
Sadly, my peers in health care are not relieved at this point. The firing has already happened.

      3. What the OMA and OHA apparently want is for those that they can fire for not complying with the inoculations to be unable to work in any healthcare setting whatsoever. Unable to work in any hospital, doctor’s office, nursing home, etc. … live free, go broke.
That is the game plan of these tyrants.

    3. If he can last a month or two, I think enough of the vaxxed will be passed their due dates, and he doesn’t want to sign an in-perpetuity deal with Pfizer, as the woke would lose funding. He’s a drunk walking a tightrope, and the only thing that stops him from falling is his ability to occasionally bash someone with the balancing bar.

    4. C, too fucking late the hospitals did it on their own. They have already forced the vaxxes. A nothing gesture.

  2. RVery, very good. People should use this as a rallying call for vacvine push back. Everyone should send Ford support for taking this stand.
I notice that the “Science Table” response expresses concern about these people missing work because of contracting Covid — no spreading it, They know that anyone can spread,

    1. I think Colonialista is right about Fat Basturd.
He will do a 180 on this soon.
      No Ballsy Ford here.

      Not holding my breath.

      1. Absolutely, remember when he promised no vaccine mandates because two tier society and blah blah blah, all it took was a couple of weeks of pressure from Karens and he cried uncle.

    2. Science of plugging in our electric cars coming home from work, only to find our solar panels can’t charge them at night.
      Based on government approved Science…

    1. I think they are too far gone in BC to be capable of exercising reasonable judgement on this.

      1. I lived in Victoria in the1980s, their healthcare was by far the best I’ve ever had access to mainly because there were alot of private clinics for dental surgery etc. Now they appear to have third world healthcare thanks to the socialist control?

    2. What you should be doing is taking jobs in Ontario and Quebec!

Let Bonnie (who really needs to be strung up by the ankles and disembowelled during a spectacular pinata party) Henry own the complete annihilation of the healthcare system.

Seriously. Quebec and Ontario would take you guys in a hearbeat.

  3. How about the airlines? Maybe if a few of those alarmists in Scotland got stranded, they would rethink that one also.

  4. They still have mandatory testing 3x a week if not vaccinated. So they’re still trying to make it so onerous as to make it effectively mandatory.

But now that we know that vaccination does nothing against spread of the virus, this will become a “pandemic of the vaccinated”.

      1. The unions have aligned with the LPC and the NDP. The unions have SOLD OUT their workers, instead of walking out in defiance.

        That’s Canada today, corrupt unions.

        “I’M ALRIGHT JACK!”

        1. Great news. Stop paying Union dues.
Don’t join the union. Let them whither and die. Useless sacks of shit.

        2. The closest I came to belonging to a union was the staff association at Armpit College. I thought that it would stand by its members if there has a dispute with the administration, particularly since my department head and his flunky assistant harassed and bullied me for years.

Ha! One day, the SA president at the time and I took at look at my personnel file. That’s when I found out that her predecessor was in on it, simply making sure that the abuse I received was administered properly. Never mind that he, my department head, and the dean violated numerous institutional regulations while I was led to believe that proper protocols had been followed.

That former SA president was lucky that I didn’t file a grievance, let alone a lawsuit, against him after I found out what happened.

Nope, unions are in it only for themselves, for that they can gain, for the collective membership, but an individual member is on his own.

  5. So it isn’t that its right to NOT force a mandate upon hospital workers, its that they have absolutely zero leverage to enforce one.

    Everyone get the message now?

    1. Same reason that many jurisdictions will probably give cops an exemption from the mandates… They need someone to enforce the mandates on the non-cops.

    1. I cannot WAIT till the onset of private healthcare. Want it affordable? Ban insurance companies from covering ‘benefits’ amd watch costs go into freefall.

In the same way that stopping student loans would crater tuition fees everywhere.

Any time doctors get to bill SOMEONE else for YOUR care, the result is a clusterfuck.

      1. Yep. The free market is always best.
Little guys amortizing an MRI or CAT scanner, running it full tilt, within manufacturer guidelines, etc. $50.00 a scan, get all the files on a thumb drive to hand to your doctor, even look at yourself, etc.
Sadly, I think humans are too easily frightened and too dumb for this.

        1. In Morontario, you can pay for a MRI of your dog, but you can’t pay to MRI your sick kid.

Because your sick kid has to wait like everyone else. Good epitaph.

          Feast on that.

  6. I only think they wanted to appear strong and have a deadline, then realized they may lose too many. They all want to appear strong, but their strength is built on being in control, and when enough tell them to pound sand they don’t have the strength of real convictions to continue with the decree.

    They’re weak inside.

    1. Remember the decree that OPP and others could pull you over to check your papers to make sure you weren’t too far from home?

I said “screw that bast@rd” from that point on

  7. The Big Yellow Pus-bag in Queen’s Park is happiest when he can find someone else to do his dirty work for him. And he whines pitifully when he can’t.

I’m glad I pegged him for what he is and voted Libertarian instead.

  8. If Saskatchewan is any indication, the vaccines are waning and vaccinated people are in peril. It is time for the medical community to step up to the plate and start lowering the viral loads of the vaccinated population as a whole. That means a significant roll-out of Ivermectin.

Don’t blame the nurses. It is the doctors who are creating this mess.

    1. Every doctor I ever knew was a total fuckup at everything except about half of the medicine they practise.

      1. My ex-doctor, now retired, is a good guy. He rebuilds old British sports cars now, and builds speakers, crossovers, and tube-amp systems as a hobby, oh, and he’s a gun nut. Served in both gulf wars and Afghanistan with the army, too. Lifeguard when he was a kid, later ambulance attendant, medic in the army, then doctor, then chief hospitalist of a hospital, then retirement. Some people were meant to practice medicine.
Most of the kids practicing today do it because they think its a cushy life, then get all uptight during residency, and are scared to make decisions.

      2. Statistically, 50% of the MDs who will ever treat you were in the lower half of their class.

  9. Now sue the fat rat faced tasdard, vaccinated can transmit and obtain covid so why are they exempt from testing? Forcing one side to test while excluding the other side isn’t science it’s illegal discrimination. Will that fat fork extend it to other workers?

  10. Maybe there’s a man under all that blubber after all. Keep in mind, his brother knew he was a pinko. Perhaps some gov’t bean counter has figured out that endless payments to Pfizer for boosters would cut into the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity budget…

      1. I’d like to think that the politicians even cared about it.
Re-election is all they care about, and they’d pimp out their own daughters to keep power. I think Colon is right, its all about optics, so pretty much anything except massive, obvious and blatant failure of the vax is just a fart on the wind.
It’ll take a few months for the failure to sink in, if we’re lucky.

Heh, and we thought those native rail blockades were a drag, we sure showed them!

    1. “Maybe there’s a man under all that blubber after all.”

Like f**k. See my comment at 4:52.

      1. My mistake.
It IS pretty manly to utterly subjugate an entire population.
Sucks to be part of that population, though.
Pretty easy to “Crush your enemies, see then driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women” when your enemy is a thoroughly De-spirited and disarmed population of urban eunuchs that vote.

  11. At least Ford has a small amont of reason and civility. Right decision for everyone. Hope it is the first step to cancel all the other nonsense (masks, child vaccines, passports)

    1. The difference between Ford and Kenny:
Ford is just a fair bit more conservative, and has a wee bit more of a spine than Kenny, but he’s up against highly entrenched liberal power bases that Ontario is infamous for, more so than Quebec, by a long shot.
In the end, they all fold to the globalists, and always have done, here in the Great White North.

      1. “Ford is just a fair bit more conservative, and has a wee bit more of a spine than Kenny, ”

        Sure. Dysentery vs acute diarrhea.

  12. More pushback, please.

Communists have the same playbook. They will drive forward with their terrible plans even if it wipes out an entire countryside.

I guess these communists lost their nerve (for now).

I shudder to think what comes next.

  13. Politics being the art of compromise has an inherent feature of corrupting politicians.
The thing to be mindful of is that in the mind of the corrupt they don’t do what they do out of malice, they do these things out of ignorance and pride.
The malicious are the ones doing the corrupting.

    1. It really is only optics. He has left the decision up to hospitals, and they are in competition for the virtue signalling awards.

  14. How many of those critical of Ford voted for him?

“Every nation gets the government it deserves.“
    Joseph De Maistre.
