Israel is a tiny nation living in a very bad neighbourhood. Should they trust China or trust Biden? An unenviable position for any nation.

Islamists have a long history of cooperating with communists right up until they shoot or behead them. China has a long history, being the most brutal and long lasting communist regime going. No one has ever conquered Afghanistan for long. It’s going to be an interesting next decade or two over there. I’m not sure who I hope is the winner. I’m just very glad I don’t live there.
One thing to remember is that when the Soviets were in Afghanistan, many of the troops weren’t Russian. They were recruited from the outlying republics so, in effect, they were fighting their own people.
Maybe the ChiComs will move the Uyghurs (that they don’t need for body parts) to Afghanistan to work in the mines as a way of getting them out of mother China.
