Justin Trudeau is a disgrace but most Canadians are wonderful, thoughtful people. Here’s an example:

Too bad Trudeau couldn’t dream to learn from this.
He’s too busy trying to divide our country and destroy it’s history.
Hey, I am all for dividing this country. The sooner we’re free from the tyranny of Ottawa and Kebek the better.
Yup. The place is too big. Break it up along the lines of the time zones.
Hear, hear. And, I’m from southern Ontario.
So am I.
Yep,1000 thumbs up for that proposal.
I’m surprised a Canadian that young understands what it means to face the flag during a national anthem.
Gives me a small glimmer of hope for what I generally think is a lost generation.
It’s nice to see Canadians worship the flag of their country. Unfurling their Dear Leaders Flag.
The Maple Leaf is a piece of Liberal propaganda. The Canadian flag had a Union Jack on it.
Too bad the UK is gone too, it’s now Airstrip One-istan.
The Red Ensign also had maple leaves on it. Canadian soldiers went into battle in both world wars bearing the maple leaf as their national emblem. It’s not something that Pearson just suddenly magicked into existence in 1965.
I don’t regard the maple leaf flag as the legit flag of Canada. And, I was born in 1966.
But we’re not the UK.
Either we are a different and separate country or simply an extension of another.
I guess we are the latter.
The Red Ensign still flys proudly at my place right beside the stars and stripes.
If I only had a nickel for every time someone asks me why I’m flying the Manitoba flag and not the Canadian one…. XD
Yeah. God bless this gun-grabbing, baby-killing, pipeline banning, censorious, corrupt red-tape bound worker’s paradise.
I love Big Brother, with all my heart. Now shoot me.
A Canadian gesture. Typical in fact. We do these things naturally.
What we don’t do is stand up for ourselves when we are wronged. We apologize.
Sad that our general kind-heartedness is being so brazenly taken advantage of by the globalist elites. Kinda reminds me of the Swedes.
It’s a shame that this example of good-natured decency will likely result in another round of “aren’t we so nice” immodesty from our predictable press.
Hosputals should prepare for another rash of shoulder dislocations from all the self-congratulatory back patting.
Big Chief Gay Eagle With No Balls is still buying up votes in Eastern Canada. China Patty burned jet fuel to PEI today, to announce 35 million dollars for prescription drugs. Apparently people on the island can’t afford to buy drugs. Nothing to do with the election of course.
L – I’m proud of that Canadian athlete, an Olympian grade, truly magnanimous gesture.
The Japanese would have seen it as an act of Jita Kyoei(mutual respect and benefit).
The nation-state, as the venue for self-government, a unifying culture and morals. Western
civilizations gift to mankind. If we can protect it from it’s enemies, foreign and domestic.
China and North Korea are nation states, and they sure as hell ain’t a gift to the people who live there. The idea that power over millions of square kilometers and the people who live there should be granted to some kind of centralized elite of the rich and/or entitled is not a fucking gift, its a curse.
L – “self-government” does not apply to Communist China, by definition.
Also, China is an imperialist state, who added Tibet to conquered status, and North Korea
is a vassal state of Imperialist China.
Trolls trolling ad infinitum, they’re only hope is for readers being as low information and low I.Q. as themselves.
So, you’re saying China, Venezuela, North Korea, etc, are not nation states, and that Imperialism is bad (just like the PC crowd), but the imperialism of the British Empire was instrumental in the economic growth of the planet.
I’ll say it again, the idea that some small oligarchy should make decisions on behalf of millions on millions of square kilometers is a curse, as we are finding out all over the west and the anglo-sphere: Gun grabbing, baby-killing, red-tape worshipping censorious totalitarians granted the power to do as they will by a “democratic mandate.”, and the PM of the Canadian Nation State gets to decide how the provinces can exploit their own resources, (and even take one provinces money to buy of the voters in another, and the provincial leaders blame the people whose votes were bough, and not who sold them, and it seems you think that’s OK too) instead of real self-government, which is an entirely local thing.
I hope you’re a banker, or a lawyer, or some other kind of “expert”, so as you can tells me how much of a troll I is.
Well now, North Korea is rather obviously a national state. Venezuela is obviously nothing of the sort and has no national basis. China is a multi-national empire in which the Chinese are the people of state. And they’re all shitholes, so “nation state” wouldn’t seem to have anything to do with it.
China also attempted to invade Vietnam in 1979, but (thankfully) suffered a humiliating defeat.
Just foreplay…
How about just accepting the fucking prize, thanking your supporters, and walking away? Now its all political, with the right saying “genuflect to the flag!” and the left saying “genuflect to the commies!”, with the common message: “genuflect, peon!”
A pox on all their houses.
Preserving civilization is not genuflecting.
That Canadian skater is Keegan Messing, born in Alaska to a Canadian mother, dual American-Canadian citizenship. GG-Grandfather was Japanese so is probably quite aware of their culture. Great skater with lots of personality, just seems like an all-round nice guy.
How diverse.
Kinda nice to see actually. Good on you you young lad!
So Canada is redeemed for this?
Nope.
