Newfoundland and Labrador join most of Canada
Starting Tuesday, masks will no longer be required in public places including restaurants, retail stores, gyms, personal service businesses and performance venues. Masks will still be required in some spaces like congregate living facilities and regional health authority facilities.
That leaves Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia trapped in the mask asylum.
C’mon there have been seven covid deaths in Newfoundland the last 18 months, since the “pandemic” began.
One per hundred thousand of population total.
That’s nearly half a death a month Two since the end of Feb.21.
If that’s not a pandemic, then I don’t know what isn’t.
That curve is so flat you could put flooring on it.

In Canada over 1,250 people die every day (37M population, life expectancy ~80 years). In Canada, according to https://covid19tracker.ca/ there were 264 people who died of Covid19 between July 8 and Aug 8. (that would be 26669 – 26405 for the mathematically challenged. No UnMe, that’s not only you so it doesn’t earn you the $0.05 for a response to your posts.)
Using the above, 0.67% of all deaths in Canada within the last month are caused by Covid19. If you round it off it comes up to 1%, but that’s nothing like a pandemic level of deaths. Which should be news to no one here.
Does anywhere post enough current Canadian high resolution data that we can compare that 0.67% to the number of suicide (or other mental health related) and overdoses, to make a case that the lockdowns and panic porn are killing more Canadians than the disease does?

fc, not quite that many. Based on statscans 2020 numbers about 823 a day.
But is that the seasonal average, or the annual average? If it’s the annual average then life expectancy in Canada (by the simplest calculation possible) should be 122 to match our 37 million population.
This leads me to suspect that the 823 is seasonal, so that should mean that the winter death rate would be near 1,700 per day. That seems very high to me, but data (and math) are data (and math).
The way 1250 was determined was 37 million divided by 80 years average lifespan means we should expect 462,500 to die every year. 462,500 divided into the number of days in a year (365.24) gives us a daily average of 1266. Rounding to the nearest round number, I presented as 1250..
