Herd immunity must be achieved by transmitting the virus

One and a half months after the abolition of all domestic operations, a record number of people have been diagnosed infected in recent weeks, despite the fact that the majority of the population has been vaccinated.

Þórólfur Guðnason said in Sprengisandur in Bylgjan this morning that it is disappointing that herd immunity has not been achieved with vaccination. He says there is only one other way to achieve herd immunity, to allow the virus to spread throughout the community.

Þórólfur says that he has talked about it since the beginning of the epidemic that the crown virus mutated. This has now happened with the arrival of the Delta variant across the border.

He says, however, that the vaccination was not in vain. “The vaccination has prevented a serious illness, there is no question about that,” says Þórólfur.

Þórólfur says that it is necessary to respond to how many people become infected after vaccination. “We just need to shuffle the cards and come up with new plans,” he said.

    Like I said before, the antivaxx crowd is focusing on positive cases and small sample sizes. Nothing else matches the narrative. Hospitalizations? Nope. Large populations? Nope. Deaths? Nope.

          Treatments and vaccines have helped lower deaths, but a clearly less infectious delta variant is the real “culprit.”

          The statists needed that false narrative to support blaming the unvaccinated, but instead discouraged vaccinations.
          If you get the vaccination, you will likely face no adverse effect, though you could still catch the common cold.
          Children are not part of this equation in any way. It’s sad to see teachers displaying such ignorance and selfishness.

Good if we are not getting hospitalizations at this point, but I would as much suggest it is due to the seasonal nature of the virus as the vaccine and also the normal progress of a virus to weaken over time.

  5. I’m no doctor so that makes me as qualified as anyone in our hyper-political civilizational wasteland to opine on a strategy to beat the Chicom virus down to near total insignificance:

    Open everything up and allow people at risk to protect themselves as they see fit. Recommend that everyone, whether they have had the jab or not take a tested and safe antiviral such as Ivermectin until the viral loading is down. Given that the “immunity” from the jab is not immunity per se but an agent which prevents the most serious effects for most people vaccinated but it also apparently makes them incubators of the virus and its mutations, we need to attack the virus and perhaps an inexpensive, readily available drug with a Captain Obvious classification of “anti-viral” should be considered as a way of doing so. I know this is an affront to the Stalinism that the hysteria has enabled but the sociopaths have had their way for 19 months and still don’t know which way is up except that they like the power and so do the large pharmas.

  7. The vaccine, which focuses soley on a part of the spike protein, provides quite narrow protection. The Delta variant is already better at defeating the vaccine causing sickness. Meanwhile the vaccinated are 7x more likely to get reinfection than those with naturally acquired immunity.

    Not only does naturally acquired immunity give broader protection but it is also more durable. Researchers are seeing natural immunity strengthening over the months after recovery. OTOH, Israelis are finding that the vaccines quickly lose their protective value and fade to being unprotective after about 6 months. With Delta the viral loads are equal on the vaccinated and unvaccinated so both can infect others and both can get the damage caused by infection. Look to me like the vaccinated end up with the risks if covid19 infection plus the risks of the vaccine.

    So the vaccinated will be required to get at least a couple booster shots a year with unknown side effects from the mRNA/DNA vaccines plus have to worry about new variants. The unvaccinated only have to worry about recovery from one covid infection (with a 99.6%+ recovery rate if you’re under 70 and healthy)…at least that is the way it looks right now. Ooops…the unvaccinated also have to worry about the government coercing/ forcing them to take a vaccine they don’t need.
