  1. Johansson has a net worth of $165M proving once again you can never have enough money.
It’s Hollywood so I don’t have a dog in this fight…have at it you two. And remember: no one likes a quitter.

    1. So because she has a big bag of money already you are hinting that she doesn’t really need any more, is that right?

That’s a very progressive attitude, comrade. You’ll go far in the current Woke fashion.

        1. BA – you are a treasure trove of info. Thanks. Nancy Ross comes up with a number of classics as well.

          1. Thank you.

I happened to remember that scene as Turner Classic Movies showed the movie earlier this month.

      1. Just an observation of Hollywood in general and the degenerates that work in it. Make millions reading lines, multiple mansions, private jets, ignoring the rampant pedophilia that exists in their industry and all this while lecturing the joe lunchbuckets of the world on climate change, guns and how terrible those racist conservatives are while they present each other with awards.
But hey, if defending Hollywood is the hill you want to die on I won’t stop you.
        Too harsh?

        1. T C isn’t defending Whoreewood, T C is defending rule of law. You should be as well, regardless of who it is, or which side of the economic spectrum they reside.

          1. Has absolutely nothing to do with the “rule of law”. What Johansson and others didn’t anticipate was the change in viewing platforms because of the pandemic…streaming, which Disney charged a premium for and perfectly legal because they own the product versus theaters where actors generally get a cut.
Want a bigger piece of the action? Get a better lawyer next time you negotiate your contract.
Times are changing – better get with the fng program.

And like I’ve said…I don’t have a dog in this fight. So have at it.

  2. So the times and Industry are a changing..? – Who REALLY gives a Rats (_i_)..??

So as far as Johansson is concerned I guess she’ll have to sell her 1.7M RV or maybe the 1.3M Yacht she likely has Just in order “to make Ends meet” eh..??
Such Hardship – How terribly sad.
    Cry me a River deary….

HollyWeird and its Cabal of wall to wall of continually self congratulating Marxist assholes could drop off the San Andreas to be lost forever…. and it would have about as much impact for me as a mosquito hitting my windshield.

    1. So hope for an overtime tie with lots of injuries.
Kinda like when Ottawa plays Toronto.

  3. Disney tends to not honor their contracts. The residuals for the writers of the Star Wars tie-ins were abruptly severed when Disney bought the Marvel Universe. The Science Fiction Writers of America are currently in the 3rd year of lawsuits against Disney for the dozens of authors due residual payments per their original contracts.

Winston Groom, the writer of Forest Gump, negotiated for a percentage of the profits. The studio used a bizarre accounting method that purported that they didn’t make a profit on the $400 million they took in box office. His lawsuit went on for more than a decade.

This Black Widow lawsuit is good for the parties involved if it leads to clarity in how compensation will be going forward. With more movies being made outside Hollywood than inside the studios influence is on the decline. Look at Netflix where most of the produced content is by corporations/ production companies from all over the world.

  4. It must be hard to get people to act or play hockey, I guess that’s why they have to be paid so many millions…

  5. Looks like Emma Stone is going to join in the fun over Cruella.

  6. Its like watching Trudeau, Singh and otool in a brawl. I hope they all lose.

There are very few people on the planet who do not have at least one redeeming quality, until you get to Hollywood and politics.

    Good luck to karma.

Btw; great scene BA, a movie I’ll have to watch again. Don’t think I’ve seen it since I was a youngster.

  7. As a die hard capitalist, part of me cheers for the actors.
As a Conservative, I’m cheering against both sides.

Hollywood, at all levels, has been lecturing everyone on topics they have no business lecturing anyone on, for far too long.
That a pandemic that they’ve been actively promoting from day one is beginning is to impact their pocket books is like mana from heaven.
I love that the financial chickens are finally coming home to roost. The idea that the whole movie industry could collapse around their smug shoulders warms my heart.
Perhaps some of them will remember when they weren’t rich (and famous) and begin to understand how the constant lockdowns and restrictions have effected people who don’t have millions in the bank to tie them over until they can go back to work.

  8. Have not seen the movie (Thanks WuFlu Lockdown!) and I don’t really care if multimillionaire Scarlet didn’t get everything she thought she was entitled to.
    BUT.
I would like to see somebody shiv the House of Mouse right in the liver. The corporation has been seized by Leftist pedophiles, so if Scarlet Johansson can stick it up ’em, I’ll cheer from the sidelines.

  9. skill testing question:
does Ms Johansson’s pussy have a separate contract? what about any of the top tier hollyweird actress/strippers?
the google search string is ‘ nude’
    lots and lots.

  10. Did Scarlett talk herself out of anything Marvel? She is pretty much aging out anyway. (Sorry gals Hollywood hates you over 40).

She’ll just move along to “real” acting and “real” scripts.

Disney will recast her part to someone more fitting. My money is on a mid-change African trans-woman —“Black Widow 2: Bigger, Blacker, and Uncut”.

    1. Good one. Unfortunately you are probably right. Every show has to have a black lesbian of some kind now, I think it’s a law they passed or something..

    2. alecincgy, Thanks, that was hilarious! I had to wipe my coffee off the screen and keyboard.
As to the thread, Hollyweird and all the rich actor/actress “victims” I don’t give a rats. I haven’t seen the movie either, and it’s highly unlikely I ever will. Johannsen was once claimed to be the most beautiful woman in the world! I don’t see it, and she’s never done anything for me in the looks, or acting department.
Now, Shania Twain, Jennifer Connolly, or Sela Ward…yum, I’m all eyes!

  11. I finally read the article. She got paid $20 million and she’s whining that it’s not enough because she’s missing out on the box office cut?

I used to have shares in Canadian Pacific. I bought them around $35 and sold them after about a dozen years for around $100. They eventually went over $200. Did I sue my broker for not stopping me from selling them at $100? Of course not. There was no way of knowing how high they would go and, besides, I made a respectable profit from them.

In short, grow up, lady. Take the money you received and put it to good use.

  12. Fuck Disney.
This is a company remember, that took stories that were in the PUBLIC DOMAIN and stole them back into copyrighted status. Just TRY doing anything with a centuries-old (and therefore public domain) fairy tale that has some sort of connection to anything Disney has done. Prepare to get ass-reamed by Disney’s lawiars if you do.
They deserve to be eaten from the inside out by maggots while still living, at the same time as they are being sodomized with a ball bat dipped in tar and broken glass, while being slow roasted over a fire.

I really hope Ms Johansson takes them to the cleaners.

  13. Link to CNN ? Hard nope.

Good luck Scarlett. Don’t forget we’re there to see your assets and not much else in your case.

  14. Is Scarlett still hot? Asking for a friend. And if she’s still hot are there pics in the story?

  15. I hope it’s a long, expensive fight but in the end, Scar Jo wins. Nobody cares if an aging actress goes broke, but I’d be happy to see some of the studio’s producing this crap go bankrupt.
