2. It is surprising, but pleasing, to see that Stewart Bell is still a part of the Canadian news media, and that he remains unafraid to depart from the official narrative of the mainstream media. For a long time, when he was at the National Post, he was the only person in the news media who regularly wrote about Islamic terrorism in Canada.

3. This guy is all over the Canada-China business and politics networking groups and has been for years. The most charitable characterization you can give is that he is a lobbyist for the PRC but the actual truth is far worse. Everyone knows this. Trudeau didn’t appoint him in spite of it, rather, Trudeau appointed Woo because of it.

15. At a Thanksgiving family gathering a few years back someone remarked that “we all have much to feel guilty about” WRT the Siberian-immigrant population. I took a deep breath, calmed myself, and said, loudly enough for everyone in the room to hear, “I don’t believe in collective guilt.”

    Wow, the silence…but not one of the parrots squawked an objection. Must have been some kind of atavistic self-preservation instinct kicking in, because I was steaming and more than ready to escalate. Collective guilt is for LOSERS, particularly when it’s guilt about stuff done by dead people to other dead people long ago, and I’m leaving out the savagery of the Siberians because everyone knows about it and there’s not nearly enough room for even a cursory overview here.
