Why were Canadian commentators so wrong about the covid-19 crisis?

As Canada’s covid-19 situation crescendos into an unambiguous crisis — with spiking cases breaking daily records and causing overcrowded hospitals, ever-stricter lockdowns provoking ever-greater backlash, and chronic vaccine shortages leading to one of the lowest fully vaccinated populations in the Western world, with some Canadians flying into the United States in search of a shot — few in the Canadian media seem able to offer a coherent explanation for how things got so bad.

  2. Here’s the thing though.. artificially high PCR testing cycles (rumoured to be in the high 30’s to low 40’s in Ontario) are driving a casedemic, and these numbers are used to justify the lockdowns.. are the hospitals being overwhelmed? Certainly not from COVID..

    It would seem the lockdowns are the screen that covers up the decades of mismanagement of health care dollars in our socialized health care system..the real question should be ‘what do we get for our money’ when even a handful of real cases can overwhelm the system?

        Go to the provincial health websites and they state right there how many cycles they are using.

      2. Under cross examination in court the Manitoba medical microbiologist in charge of testing, we are doing 40 to 45. We bump it up to 45 if it’s negative but we’re pretty sure the person has COVID to avoid a false negative. He estimated only 56% are false positives i.e. not infectious. Better safe than sorry after all.

      3. From what little has been published I believe most PCR tests in Ontario use Ct’s in the range of 40 to 45. Now the CDC is recommending Ct of 28 , without actually stating that a virus sample with a Ct greater than 26-28 is so small it cannot be cultured in lab conditions , yet Herr (Lockdown) Ford , who no doubt is totally clueless soldiers on.

        The health officials in Ontario no doubt know this. These people should be in prison.

        1. CDC is recommending Ct of 28 or less for samples coming from a previously “vaccinated” person. Those not vaxxed get the same 35+ count.

The Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms has done an thorough job at summarizing covid stats for the provinces and territories, including PCR cycling thresholds, mortality rates, deaths by age and more. All the stuff the media does not want you to see, and the government is reluctant to come forth with.
      I take a print out, every time the JCCF updates the figures and I post it at the Post Office, but some Karen (probably a govt. employee) keeps taking it down.
      By the way, the MB government admitted under oath in Court this week that “cases” are not infections”. Duh.

        From the data … using the approximate population of Ontario of roughly 14 million.

        Age Group Survival Percentage
        40-59 ….. 99.997%
        60-79 …….you have a 99.98% probability of surviving COVID.
        Over 80….. 99.96% survival

        Pretty good odds I would say.

        In addition the statistics across all age groups for COVID is the same as seasonal flu. The main difference appears to be the infection rate , but even that is suspect given the PCR Ct’s of 40-45

    3. All countries throughout the world have been using the unreliable PCR test for case diagnosis. The has been great variabiity in cycle count and post-mortem assertion of cause. Effectively, the PCR test is useless, some European doctors have even called this a “PCR test pandemic”,

      I see Johnson in the UK is preparing to rev up lockdown again, given his warning about the “Indian (brown not red) strain”. One hesitates to ask what all this fuss about vaccination was if it didn’t protect you.

      Maybe the politicians and government experts actually have no idea and are just making up shit as they go along. Maybe they over-reacted to initial reports of a killer flu which just turned out to be a slightly worse flu than normal. Maybe they should have kept their previously develope, traditional approach based plans, rther than throw them all out at the behest of the WHIO in favour of the Chinese Communist Party method.

    1. Turned on CBC this morning and some retired ER doc was being interviewed about the situation in Winnipeg. Going on and on and on about how they (the politicians) didn’t act quick enough, didn’t lockdown hard enough, even went to say how the politicians themselves were seen in the Leg not wearing a mask (so says the idiot doc on CBC also not wearing a mask). I got to thinking. “Who and why is this idiot doc, whom I have never seen before and spouting nothing but “the politicians failed us” stories getting so much airtime”
      The answer was at the end. She said that nothing should be opened up until Covid was down to zero. That was the answer. One of those Soros-Gates Covid-Zero freaks that are shilling and whoring for the Great Reset.

I know individual provinces could decide for themselves, but I suspect they are too scared to do anything but “follow the leader.” Ford had better start asking questions of his medical advisers. Calling their phone number puts me on endless musical hold. I know it’s a Liberal boondoggle, but shouldn’t they at least make a pretense of competency?

It seemed intuitively obvious at the beginning of the pandemic that she was right, but she nailed it down, much to her credit, and got the Dr Fauci types to finally admit they were wrong. Of course they didn’t admit it right out loud, more like a stealth edit on a CDC website.

      Congratulations to Fauci for funding the creation of a virus genetically engineered to be highly contagious in humans.

  11. I couldnt care less about no symptom cases. If or not if they are accurate. The few mentions of more through testing of supposed case positives, showed something like 99% false. Untrue.

    Even deaths Im suspicious of.

    Why in the states do we have such radical supposed CoV deaths per capita, 100 thousand, 1 million. The difference between Florida, a older population, vs New York, land of Hero Saint Andrew Cuomo. NY is 100% higher.

  14. People will be as afraid as they want to be. People can choose whatever they want to live in abject fear of. Being angry all the time, being afraid/panicked all the time. People will either eventually find it too exhausting and give it up (i.e. find a new hobby), or they will have a psychotic break.

  19. More fool anybody who flew south in search of a shot of distilled water. Everybody who truly mattered got his vaccine over a year ago, delivered by diplomatic bag to the nearest Chinese consulate. You will never get anywhere near one.

    More effective in preventing Wuhan flu, by far, is to avoid “communities” whose denizens don’t practice basic hygiene. That’s why our betters are moving to the cottage full-time, or paying a king’s ransom for one if Dad didn’t leave them his.

    1. Actually I think we are too hygienic, too clean. We have immune systems that under immense filth, often coupled with starvation, are designed to win. Systems active for 100’s of millions years.

      Polio, was noticed that poor kids swimming in the raw sewage rivers of Italy and New York, didnt get Polio. It was the wealthier kids that went to chlorine public pools. This is after WW2 and the affordability of hot clean water, clothes washers, as opposed to pre war once a week tub, after father bathed..

      Another example is the explosion of asthma, a immune reaction. Highest? In wealthy uber clean households.
      Getting vaccines is exercise for your immune system. We used to do this for millions of years when life was nasty, dirty and short.
      I guess I should say get out and get down and dirty to be healthy.
