  3. At the time of Watergate, I thought Liddy was scum. But many years later when I caught his radio show I did a 180 and became a fan and an admirer.

  5. Read Liddy’s autobiography “Will” in the early 1980s. One hilarious anecdote in it: Liddy was working as an operative within the Nixon administration, but lived in a rather high-crime area in Washington DC. One evening a street hood came at his door, asking for protection money. Liddy stuck a big black. 45 caliber handgun right to his mouth and said “no”. The guy ran away.

    1. Another incident – because he was a convicted felon after he was released he was not allowed to own firearms. But his wife was, so he made certain that she was armed to the teeth in their home. Just because he wasn’t allowed to own them didn’t apparently mean he wasn’t allowed to use them. And it was well known that he would.

      One day an armed criminal was running from police along the beach past all the beach-front homes and he was gaining on the cops when suddenly he stopped, threw his gun far out into the ocean and raised his hands. While the cops were handcuffing him, they asked why he did that. He said, “Are you kidding? This is G. Gordon Liddy’s house!”

    1. Newton couldn’t explain gravity, nor can our current scientists nor can you. The Flat Earth Society is completely stupid but only to dissuade those from noticing that we see too far for earth’s curvature to be valid. Consumer digital cameras has caught up to the lie and shown with a zoom that *nothing* sails over the horizon bc water *always* finds its level.

      Flat earth is not a Belief but an observation.

      For example, from Calgary to the nearest high mountain is 90 miles representing ~1 MILE of curvature, yet, there it is, plain/plane as day. Yes, really.

      1. They still can’t explain why water vapor being heavier than gas floats. This defies the gravity theory.
        If you toss out all the garbage you were taught and start new, it really is not that difficult to understand when you combine many parameters never considered or simply discarded. What rotates our orb and keeps it in its shape along with a sustainable orbit?

      2. Atmosphere pressures holds down water, centrifugal force exerts from our planets rotation as Nitrogen gases vibration releases this water into vapor.
        Simple common sense can calculate all this out mathematically.

  7. A key thing you should know about Watergate is that Woodward and Bernstein relied on an “anonymous source” for their information, but the anonymous source wasn’t anonymous to them. They knew it was Mark Felt, a man with a grudge against Nixon for being passed over for elevation at the FBI. If Woodward and Bernstein had let it be known who their anonymous source was, people might have questioned his reliability as a narrator. Fortunately for Woodward and Bernstein, the internet and FOX News and alternative news sources didn’t yet exist so there was no one to question the narrative. And unfortunately for the Washington Post (and the New York Times and CNN as well), they haven’t yet figured out that alternative news sources exist and nobody relies on them for being an authoritative source on anything any more.

  8. I recall from his radio show, Liddy said he told his sons, “You never start a fight. But if someone else starts a fight, you never run from it, and you make damned sure you finish it.”

  9. I just happened to catch his show when he explained why they broke into the democratic offices at Watergate. Apparently one of the workers was running a prostitution ring out of that office and they wanted to evidence on it.

    1. Don’t they know the correct place to run a prostitution ring is out of your congressional office?

John G, the DNC has evidence pertaining to the JFK assassination, and the CIA sent a team in to retrieve it, they did a shoddy job that set up Nixon to be taken down, as Nixon was asking to many questions about the assassination, and he was also about to start a racketeering inquiry into Texas big oil, because too many of the same characters were sitting on various oil company boards. See if you can find u-tube of Hunt’s confession he made a couple of weeks before he died. Liddy, may have been lieing to avoid becoming a target for the CIA, as JFK became.

  11. Republican Congressmen and Senators should have stood firmly beside Nixon. Reporting on Nixon was as fake as everything they said about Trump. Democrats make up shit and the mainstream media spreads it.
