“I’m working for a company that’s doing a lot of damage in the world.”

“What would be a proxy for a racist? … Lives in an all white town, education, religious preference. So you can triangulate three or four data points and say, ‘She’s likely to be a racist.'”

  1. That’s all I hear – ‘They need to be broken up”. Republicans had their chance several times and put on meaningless show trials to show they were serious. We now know they were nothing of the sort.
Campaign cash was just too good.

    1. Republicans are not immune to cash.
There is a video of Jim Jordan, he clearly is one that is more independent than others, the question was precisely on this subject of breaking up the corporate fascism.

Jordan does support the proposition though he said that he got cash from Google and also said God bless Google, though one must say that it was a rhetorical device.

      So there you have it.

  2. Like the old debate of what came first, the chicken or the egg, who came first, Soros or Zuckerberg?
What I mean here is was Soros an influence on Zuck during the time his internet juggernaut was being built?
Is Zuck one of the Globalist pharaoh lieutenants or has he become so powerful that he assumes he is now the grand inquisitor?
Money is one thing and even if George is still richer, (is he?) Zucky has control of the ultimate tool of destruction, certainly more powerful than Zoros’s Antifa, BLM and his numerous non profit organizations.

  3. Breaking them up will do nothing. The smaller units will just keep on keeping on with the same agenda. The search business will still manipulate results. The ad business will still refuse service to companies while pushing propagandistic ads to users. The cloud business will deny services to online services and vendors.

How might we save search? Perhaps open source search algorithms, running on distributed personal machines, the way those SETI and cancer and genome analysis screensavers used to work. The point is that both the processing and the search database have to be decentralized and not controlled by a single corporation. It will be slower than a commercial search, but the idea is to avoid central control.

Of course, your ISP will pull your plug if they catch you running the stuff. And your OS publisher – Windows and Mac certainly and the various flavours of Linux projects very likely – will update their wares to prevent the stuff from running or even being accessible.

Of course, we could just get woke and go along for the ride. Sociopathy does look like a lot of fun in the short term.

    1. Your post was too long so you must be a global change climate warming denier for taking so much energy…
Just practising being a woke sociopath, how’s that Lickmuffin?…lickmuffin?…are you making fun of the LGBTBBQ here?…Oh wow, being woke is easy!

Small Dead Animal is so redneck sounding too…does Kate identify as a white supremacist person or something?…ok…ok…enough woke for me, I feel dizzy already and have a sudden urge to watch the CBC. Not good.

    2. Perhaps open source search algorithms

MapReduce is open source. Bing has their own implementation, as do a number of other more niche search engines.

What makes Google useful is the exact same thing that makes it dangerous: the massive amount of information it’s collected over decades about each person that uses it, so it can show you search results that are likely to be what you actually wanted. DuckDuckGo uses Google at the backend but doesn’t provide that identifying information; to see how much less helpful Google would be if it weren’t data harvesting on you all the time, just type the same thing into DuckDuckGo and see what comes back.

Facebook can only affect you if you use Facebook. They don’t have a monopoly on anything, and it’s not clear how they could engage in any kind of monopolistic behaviour: the Internet simply doesn’t work like that.

The real problem, as I keep pointing out, is the collusion between completely unrelated tech companies to deplatform people on the basis of their political or social beliefs. That is not a legal problem because it’s not against any law: it’s a social and cultural one. Any legal “remedy” to that problem will make a mockery of the First, Fourth and Fifth Amendments and the rights of freedom of speech, property and association, and will eventually be used to persecute you.

The inability of soi-disant conservatives to learn how anything more sophisticated than a toaster works, and then demand Big Daddy Government step in and destroy companies that are breaking no laws because they’re being meeeean, is why we’re losing the culture war.

      1. There used to be a browser called “Metacrawler” which trawled all the other browsers and consolidated the findings. It seem to have disappeared.

Blocked in the other browser “results”, or maybe it’s just happening where I live?

Well, in the same way Late Night TV has become a substitute for REAL News … making snide and sarcastic observations about all the leftwing despises … I suppose a corny Adam Sandler comedy film can provide devastatingly accurate insight into the state of American Business.

I’m reminded that my secular friends tell me that atheists and agnostics (such as all the BIG Tech Billionaires) can be “just as moral as Christians”. And yet, as the Judeo-Christian underpinnings of our society disappear completely … and we become a “scientific” nation … one that Madeline Murray O’Hair would cheer … we are becoming even more immoral, nay – Satanic, than I could ever imagine. The guardrails are GONE! Poof! Winning Ugly has become de-rigor curriculum in all our TOP business schools. Ethics are a Code by which STUPID, POOR people live.

We have the technology! So it must be used. Right?

Romans 6 … “For the Wages of Sin is Death”. Sin meaning separation from God. Elevating oneself to assume the position of God. We’ve been warned. We’ve been cautioned. But History suggests we don’t listen too well. We are hurtling toward a total societal collapse. Best we stop playing God, before we strike ourselves dead. Best we show some restraint.

  5. Lives in a heavily-guarded estate in Palo Alto.

    Went to Harvard.

Has hyped his Jewish ancestry more and more as public opinion turned against him, so he can call critics anti-Semitic. Hasn’t darkened the door of a synagogue since his Star Wars-themed bar mitzvah. Married a Chinese girl. Even Ha’aretz doesn’t take his Jewish credentials seriously.

You can triangulate three or four data points and conclude with confidence that Zuck is a globalist scumbag.

  6. “In other news, Facebook empIoyees are mourning the Ioss of one of their supervisors known as BENNY; after a freak accident in the company break room. Benny was simpIy pouring a cup of coffee when the tragedy occurred. Witnesses say Benny was speaking with his boss, Mark, and when Benny put the phone down to get his coffee, the phone went to vibrate; pushing a fork into the computerized toaster which was cooking a bageI. The toaster maIfunctioned, shooting the fork out at high veIocity, striking Benny in the eye and kiIIing him instantIy. The phone then seIf destructed”

Benny has been repIaced with a Japanese sex doII which has been reprogrammed to swaIIow onIy what Mark Zuckerburg orders……
