  1. Well I was going to buy it, but now I’ve heard it. Strangest book on tape but I caught the jist.

  2. That should be “Sits”, not “Sit’s”.

Kate, you may delete this comment after applying the correction.

    1. If the meaning is imperative singular (“you sit down with Dave…”) then you’re right: “sits” is correct.

If it implies imperative collective (“sit us down with Dave…”) then the apostrophe would probably work in the contraction.

I’s not losing any sleep over it, regardless.

  3. I haven’t finished it yet, but I really enjoyed the first 40 minutes of that discussion.

One thing that really stood out to me is the real life cost of standing against chaos. Jordan Petersen’s life would have been so much easier and happier and healthier, if he had just been silent. If he had just shut up and complied with Bill C-16. Sure he would have missed out on incredible fame and an interesting public life. Yet, he would have kept his sanity at all times. It strikes a real chord with me personally. I have been dragged through 9 CAS investigations, police investigation for kidnapping, 2 lengthy legal cases, threat of a lawsuit, all based on lies and false accusations….all because I wanted to bring security and order to my children’s lives. The forces of chaos will try to destroy you and living with PTSD is my thank you gift for trying to do the right thing.

Jordan Peterson, like all of us to some degree, are struggling to comprehend some kind of motive behind our culture’s descent into craziness. The forces of chaos just want to watch the world burn. They are more than happy to be standing on top of a pile of rubble, burnt out buildings and dead bodies, rather than live a quiet life as a productive member of society. If you oppose them in any meaningful way, you will suffer eventually. The last 2 years of Jordan Petersen’s life and his new book are a testament to that suffering.

  4. Impressive that he has been able to get that book out after such a serious health set-back. Peterson’s views are alway welcome. He is a thoughtful, wise and sincere voice in our chaotic times.
