    3. Since there is no correlation between lockdowns/masks and Covid deaths, I can’t imagine why they would. The decision reflects balance and common sense. While in Canada, we have the Peel Health dept pressing for putting toddlers in isolation. I think it is time for some perspective!

        If used very temporarily as a loving corrective measure for bad behavior , okay.
        Such as go to your room , no soup for you.

  9. But yesterday our benevolent Mr Kenny and the Dr of Doom “allowed” us to go 1on1 to a gym, as long as the exercise is not strenuous. You can’t make this up. And he expects us to be so grateful for his “conservative” leadership. A TX retirement is looking much better.

    1. And the NDP are totally decrying this move, as usual. Don’t think that much of Kenny, but he has managed to keep the schools open and try to help small business survive even while the MSM and the opposition are calling him out for not totally killing the private sector.

    Canada has turned into a feeble nation full of sheep who respond “How high?” when the government says “Jump!”. So many sheep! I am thankful I have a few friends who are not, and thankful for online hangouts like Kate’s fine blog.

    We are a boring country that can barely do anything well anymore. We cannot even get two of our own out of China.

    Many in this country relish mediocrity as if it were a virtue. Might as well turn off the lights if that’s the attitude.

    We elect utter clowns like Trudeau, and then pretend they are brilliant and excuse their every failure.

    Our media lacks anything resembling a spine and long ago stopped working on behalf of the people.

    We are afraid of our own anthem and wish to cancel our own history.

    We have become a very bland and uninspiring nation. That wasn’t always the case.
