    1. After he presented his side, she just wouldn’t shut up and kept pushing her BS. So what was she trying to prove?

    2. She got owned.
That’s how the CPC need to treat the media in Canada, they need to grow a set.
      Totally justified.

    1. Musk buying a bunch of Bitcoin (and Doge) was probably part of the surge. However, general nervousness around the liquidity bomb that has been dropped on the planet since early 2020 also is pushing gold and crypto. (Bubble?). Now every Tom, Dick, and Redditor has 1400 bones, it won’t calm down soon.

I don’t see the banks assuming risk, it seems from this article that they’re aren’t keeping the crypto, rather marking it to market (flipping against fiat currencies), but allowing you to assume the risk on the investment.

However the bigger story is the ongoing move by crypto currencies to being legitimate. It’s going to suck when government figures out how to tax the crap out of them.

      1. It’s all a part of the plan, put your savings into crypto and digital banking. When they engineer the digital crisis and the financial systems collapse, their money will be pulled out with time to spare, unlike 99.9% of the rest of the planet.

  1. UK has gone full NAZI. Issues do not resuscitate any covid patients with learning disabilities.
What will it take for people to start to retaliate against these monsters. How many times have we been told that “We Were Only Following Orders” got the Nazi’s a death sentence at Nuremburg.
Perhaps this is in place in Canada already. We already have the Covid Camps and they are hiring retired RCMP that want to make some extra cash.
    Wake Fucking Up Sheep.

    1. Canadians are too stupid to live, that seems to be where we are headed. We are running around wearing useless masks, ruining our lives and our society because we are stupid. I keep telling people to stop complying it is not necessary. All of us have to say no.

      1. We are running around wearing useless masks, ruining our lives and our society because we are stupid.

But there are people who like the current circumstances. They finally feel important for the first time in their lives and they use the situation as an opportunity to crap all over anybody they don’t like, fobbing it off as a “violation” of the rules.

This is the revenge of the people who never got picked for sports teams during gym class, who never got a date the the prettiest cheerleader in school.

    2. I have been warning for years. Right to die will become OBLIGATION to die. MAiD is just one step closer.

  2. Soooo, it looks like something did not work right!
You can erase that sucker Ms Moderator. LOL

Too tired I guess from my new job of learning all the commands our new puppy can give. I did not realize how tough the puppy union has gotten in their demands.
Learning what the different barks mean is hard.
    woof – I want attention.
    WOOF = I need food
WOOF, WOOF – hay doorman I want out. NOW. He does stay out most of the time.
I wasn’t going to get a pup before winter but 5 came up nearby.
Told the wife we’ll just go and look. We don’t have to get one.
They were just fed when we got there, and one got hi centered trying to go up the stairs onto the deck.
Wife goes over and picks him up to help.
He falls asleep in her arms. I want this one she says.
    Okey dokey he’s ours.
Now 5 months old and he can rest his chin on the table top.
He’s a Pyrenees – Bernese Mtn dog cross. All white with a dark brown ring around right eye.
Looks like a black eye so I wanted to call him Barfight but lost out. Also wanted 357 but that didn’t fly either.
Named him Lucky for a really good reason.
I walk him on our bark park quarter and he runs all the way. Never saw a big dog with so much energy.
I should be skin and bones by spring.
    Stay safe
    Good night.

    1. I remember having to learn similar things with the first dachshund in our family. There were barks and then there were barks. Eventually, I figured out that things like intonation and inflection, and even the way she tilted her head when she barked all meant something.

    2. Good choice of mix. Had a Berner once – what a sweet soul. Now I got a Swissy – Berner’s bigger cousin. Same marking but short coat and slightly bigger. Very different personality though – super active! More energy than most big dogs. Enjoy your pup!

  3. Thanks Robert – what a great interlude.
Stll think K. D. nailed it but each rendition was wonderful.

    1. Anyone who needs to have liberty and freedom explained to them does not deserve liberty or freedom.

  4. **I had thought that the city of Calgary would have acted quickly after the video of a man smoking meth on a train went viral. I was wrong. I took a ride to see how it is.
From syringes to disorder to consumption, I saw it all in one trip.**

    https://mobile.twitter.com/CoryBMorgan/status/1360728632759517184

**It defies belief that Nenshi and gang keep claiming to want people to abandon their cars and take city transit yet they have let city transit get into such terrible condition that nobody in their right mind will ride it right now if they have other options.**

    1. Last summer, noticed campers around who shoot up. Situation is bad. Bus drivers look the other way.

    2. I sometimes take the early morning bus to the airport when I fly to my house in B. C. I get to Century Park on the south side of Edmonton by catching the LRT close to where I live.

I often see rubbies and druggiest in the train cars at that hour. Fortunately, most of them are well-behaved as they’re usually sacked out. Since there usually aren’t that many people on board, I sit well away from them.

    3. I lived in Calgary for 12 years and the public transit “sucks” big time. I moved to Regina and used public transit to go and come from work – buses came every 15 minutes and were located within a 10 minute walk to either the office or my home. Sadly though, Regina Transit had other problems such as “less than special” people who were drunk or high on something and one memorable afternoon, a woman sprawled on the seats wearing no underwear.
Calgary is so proud of the LRT but the feeder buses to it were terrible.

    4. Hell, they were shooting up at the Somerset bus shelter, last fall in broad daylight and set fire to the LRT shelter, right on the platform. But get your masks on, dammit! And quit tobogganing!

  5. More healing in Biden’s America. Fox News reports that the homes of Trump’s lawyers have been vandalized. Also protests at their law offices by Biden’s healing supporters.

    1. It was a Roger Corman flick, he of the B-film , sci-fi movies made by American
International. This movie was perhaps the most expensive film made Corman at the time, a good movie.

  6. Breitbart reports that Churchill College held an anti-Churchill talk: Churchill and the British Empire were worse than the Nazis.

  7. True North reports on the growing spread of violence against Christians in Africa by muslims. Perhaps the bag over the head news host at the CBC can discuss it.

    1. Thomas, B I N G O.
Hands down, Leonard’s is the winning version.
Prolly ‘cos he wasn’t trying to win a prize.
Many post-Lenny versions are emotionally incontinent.
He doesn’t belt it out like k.d. lang.
      This shouldn’t be belted out.
We live in a under-nuanced age.

  8. Recently Mickey commented that Newfoundland is bankrupt.

What’s the difference between Newfoundland and the rest of Canada?

The rest of Canada doesn’t yet know it too is bankrupt.

  9. Norway asks people to stop charging their electric cars in the morning.

    https://www.driving.ca/tesla/features/feature-story/motor-mouth-too-many-teslas/amp?

    Really interesting article.

I note that Norway has 3 million vehicles, approximately 500,000 of which are plug ins. If more Norwegians buy electric vehicles they’ll need more hydro dams, or have to suffer through brown outs.

Which reminds me, the gang greens have opposed just about every hydro dam I can think of.

  10. Guys, this tune from Leonard Cohen fits the Hebrew (original) words of psalm 150 so well that it must have been composed for them. Also, Cohen’s song talk about king David, who is the presumed author of this psalm. Listen:

  11. Bill Gates has a new book out: How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need. So now he knows all about climate change. I thought he was the vaccine/pandemic guy. Boy he gets around. Though it does hint at some relation between these seemingly disparete issues. Could it be that underneath it all, climate change, the pandemic and the vaccine agenda are about globalism?

    1. Is this the same Bill Gates who in 1995 said in his book The Road Ahead that the Internet would not amount to very much?

“It’s 1997, the year the millionth dot com name is registered, and some influential members of the tech industry are slow to realize that the World Wide Web might be a Pretty Big Deal.

In his book, The Road Ahead, she adds “Mr. Gates admitted that he believed the technology for ‘killer applications’ was inadequate to lure consumers to the Internet.”

      https://www.inc.com/tess-townsend/what-bill-gates-got-wrong-about-the-internet-in-the-1990s.html

      1. Also the same Bill Gates who once said, “nobody will ever need more than 256k of RAM.” He was an expert on operating systems back then, before he became an epidemiologist or a climatologist.

  12. Strange isn’t it. After ranting about the way Trump treated reporters, the media isn’t saying much about Biden’s deputy press secretary resigning.

  13. I’ve looked at Cohen’s lyrics carefully & analyzed them. One statement he makes is “All I’ve ever learned from love, is how to shoot at someone who outdrew you.”
It took him years to complete the song according to what he stated in an article. Hallelujah is about the mystery of Art and the artistic process, connection to the Divine or lack of it, Beauty, sex, poetry, women, betrayal of self and others, and joy, . At the end it’s a glorious peal to the reality and sanctity of life. Love is real and expressed by “Hallelujah”.

    1. The lyrics are interesting:
“David….. spies Bathsheba bathing in the privacy of her courtyard. Moved by lust at the sight of her, David calls for her to be brought to him and sleeps with her, impregnating her. In an effort to hide his misdeeds, David tries to call on Uriah to return home from war, hoping that the two will have relations and that he will be able to pass the child off as belonging to Uriah. But Uriah, being a disciplined soldier, refuses to leave his post. So, David murders him by proxy, ordering all of Uriah’s comrades to abandon him in the midst of battle, so that he is killed by an opposing army. Following Uriah’s death, David takes Bathsheba as his eighth wife”

  14. Nikita Khrushchev: “We will bury you” “Your grandchildren will live under communism.” “You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you.” We’ll so weaken your economy until you’ll fall like overripe fruit into our hands.”

  15. I finally became an un-person today, though for only a few minutes.

I arrived at the Fort St. John airport this morning and I needed to call a cab. I tried the only pay phone in the building but something seemed wrong with it, so I asked someone who worked at the airport if anybody knew what was going on. The only catch was that I wasn’t wearing a mask at the time and she wouldn’t answer my question until I established my identity as a loyal comrades of Covid Communism by putting my mask on like a loyal sheeple.

So, fellow SDAers, if you’re going to be in a predicament, mishap, or disaster, make sure you wear a mask first, otherwise you don’t exist.

Oh, by the way, Air Canada reprimanded me a few times because my mask wasn’t high enough on my nose. If one doesn’t co-operate, the airline will notify authorities and, after disembarking, one could be ticketed, plus one’s name will be forwarded to Transport Canada.

Gee, all that sounds like certain parts of the Middle East and SE Asia, doesn’t it?

  16. Blackie’s CBC is excited this afternoon, that Biden is going to let in twenty five thousand migrant voters from Mexico. Pervert Joe needs some fresh young girls to sniff.

  17. What would be the fallout to a Trump Presidency?
Obama squeeze Kamala gave up her Senate seat.
Who else would crash and burn in this tidal wave?

  18. Floggings upon floggings upon forced injections and

“That new normal will almost certainly mean we will have virus circulating in Australia,” Professor Paul Kelly told reporters in Canberra on Tuesday. “But if we can protect people from the disease that is the main aim at the moment in terms of preventing people going to hospital, preventing people going into intensive care and preventing death.”

We have 1 covid hospitalization in a population of 160,000 AND ARE BEING LOCKED DOWN. TELL US DOUG FORD what is the target ? ZERO hospitalizations? AT WHAT COST? TELL US DOUG FORD what has been the economic cost and societal costs of your FUCKING LOCKDOWNS to hold the line at 1 hospitalization per 160,000.

    1. Well, some consolation…coal for Chinah, mostly. Be that as it may, the federal Government/Civil Service/Communists want to denude this country of people, especially in the more productive areas of the country where raw materials and cheaper energy reside. Pretty much anywhere outside the environs of Tronna, Moan Real and Ottywah. That’s being turned over to the the Paiutes. We’ll become like Chinah during the dark days of COVID and burn the bodies for as long as it takes. Remember this?: https://youtu.be/gFbtwoNhOTk
      https://www.vernoncoleman.com/theywanttokill.htm
The first vid are your replacements at the warehouse, restaurant, bus driver, even your hair dude/dudette. They’ll even have ones to round you up, incarcerate you and man the cryogenic vivisection of folks as future heart, kidney, lung et al replacements. They’ll work inside a cryo-storage unit at temps you couldn’t and 24/7/365. No union, or overtime needed. There will be a brisk “trade” for parts, world wide. You won’t need farmers, either. Complete automated food production and storage.
      Prove me wrong.

  19. Gov. Cuomo o NY could be held responsible for the deaths of 15,000 seniors due to his policies. Could we dream of the same for our Premiers and the Bastard Pup out of old Fidel and their Minions. Would that not be sweet to watch the daily trials of Elite at the World Court for Genocide like some 3rd world Hill Billies.
