      1. The whole objective of this malarkey is complete and utter submission to whatever the elites tell us.

        We failed to become Mohammedans when the government threatened to fine or imprison us for not saying nice things about them

        The government tried to bully us into submission by falsely claiming that the world is on fire.

        The government tried to strangle us economically by looking the other way when protesters blocked railroad and highways for whatever reason they wanted. (How come we don’t hear anything about the Wet’n’Sweatin’s any more?)

        By taking a nasty flu strain, which was released accidentally on purpose, which affects only a small segment of the population, talking it up into a country-killing plague, the elites finally got what they always wanted: unquestioning obedience by the majority of the great unwashed.

        They now have free reign to do whatever they pleased with the proles. Promise them an end to it, but as soon as the statistics indicate things are improving, son of a gun, there’s a new and improved “strain”, “variant”, conveniently cobbled mutation that’s guaranteed to be x raised to the yth power worse. Harsher measures are therefore imposed and justified by the vague concept of “safety”.

        The elites have the majority the short and curlies and they aren’t about to let go. Be prepared for even more phony-baloney apocalyptic prognostications.

        Aside from submission and unquestioning obedience, the other objective is to eradicate hope. Hope implies that there may be an end. Hope implies that there may be a future. Hope shows that there could be an alternative. The elites don’t want that because it means that their dominance is not absolute.

        We are but mindless insects to them and they aim to keep it that way.

      I’ve noticed that likes on PJW videos are falling behind the dislikes and I wonder if it has something to do with all the new requirements when clicking on the stupid button.
      Who knows maybe the like button on my computer has been Kancelled at SS google.

    1. Line 5 supplies Ontario and Quebec with Alberta Oil for the refineries in Sarnia. It needs to be offline permanently. Line 5 is nothing to do with XL. As an Albertan I hope the Wisconsin Democratic Gov. does force the complete and permanent shutdown to Ontario.
      Let Ontario and Quebec pay full world price for oil from ME. And let it all come up the St. Lawrence by tanker. Leaking oil all the way.

You can check GOOGLE MAPS and see tankers tied up in the east end. The Portland pipe can only supply so much and the PowerCorp bought Kaybec .Gov refuses to accept western crude to “dirty” their Province, but tank rail cars are fine. They don’t seem to mind crispy French fries, either.

      I thought that getting worse was a foregone conclusion. The last MS program I used and actually liked was MS Word 5 for Mac. It was really nice and easy to use. Then, in the mid-1990s, MS released that abomination known as MS Word 6….. I gave up after that and looked for software that was specifically designed for Macs.

      Now that I use FreeBSD a lot, I use open-source software that’s compatible with it.

    The last time Oz was an exporter of oil was 1979.
    I was with GSI (Geophysical Services Inc.) in Calgary when we also had seismic processing offices in Singapore and Sydney.

      As a thought experiment I was wondering what the covid pandemic would have been like if social media did not exist. I came up with the following conclusions:
      1. There would have been no lockdown.
      2. The death toll would have been higher.
      3. A few SDA regulars would no longer be with us.
