    Creating jobs through economic growth are real. But Xiden Zhou killed those to the detriment of the US (and Canadian) economy.

    You do not create jobs out of make-work projects; government jobs do not grow an economy. The clean-up of halted projects will only take out of the economy.

  3. A whole lot of belief or should I say faith in the creation of “green” jobs to replace those icky petro jobs. The reality of the Biden agenda is going to whack labour really hard and I think this guy knows it but can’t bring himself to say it.

        Internal union squabbles are nothing new and they can get nasty. Look up to what happened to Jock Yablonski of the United Mine Workers of America in the late 1960s. The Sopranos were a nice bunch by comparison.

    That guy consumes hundreds of thousands of dollars in union dues (if not millions when you factor in his pension, trips, golf memberships, Democrat donations, expenses etc). I’m not sure how much union dues are, but you have to wonder if the union members think they’re getting good value for their dues when their union head is defending the guy that just cancelled their jobs.

    1. A one-way “trip to the mountains” (to a prison camp to end his days in slavery, as his north Korean comrades put it euphemistically) would be too good for him.

That’s an interview with one of the most successful serial job destroyers defending his benefactor (swamp creature Biden) who is beholden to his job / economy destroying green theocracy underwriters. Union membership over the last 40 years has gone from 20.1% to 10.3% with the private sector now at 6.2%. The largest three unions in the US are now in the public sector. It was fitting that union dues-enriched Trumpka was backgrounded with gilded gold.

  13. For an interesting review of US labor leadership SDA readers should look at the sordid details of the UAW since 2008. Virtually, if not all of the top leadership are under indictment or in prison on corruption convictions. The union is under Federal Supervision for the graft and theft by the leadership. GM and Chrysler were basically given to the unions by Obama. Leadership spent years stealing and plundering

Backing Trump only to lose would have meant there’d be holy hell to pay from the Left and he’d never live it down. He was one of Trump’s biggest critics in 2015…but once Trump won he couldn’t get his fat union ass into Trump Towers fast enough to make nice.

  20. Right lets take a pipefitter, welder, electrician out of the skilled labour market and place them in a remedial project to reclaim an open pit coal mine in West Virginia. Is the government project going to pay them the going trade rate from their prospective trades to spread soil and some of the bullsh*t this guy espouses, and plant trees and grass? No you can bet your ass/donkey that the government is going to employ some of the illegal aliens coming across the border to do the remedial work required and Joe the Plumber is once again left holding the bag.   23. What a joke, creating as many or more jobs in renewable fuels, every single kilowatt hour of them reliant on taxpayer support.

    IOW Biden destroys jobs cancelling Keystone and shutting down oil and gas resources on federal land, but replaces them with “renewable” jobs, by destroying other jobs by subsidizing renewable energy, thus destroying net jobs throughout the economy.

    Remember you can always get a job making solar panels – in China. Actually you can’t, they sell them to suckers like us.

    Ah, but renewable projects can create jobs, as long as somebody else besides them pays for it and takes all the risks:

    A co-worker often summed up both management’s and the union’s priorities as such… “Fix the blame, not the problem”. Describes liberal politicians perfectly too, doesn’t it?

  34. It’s easier to con someone than it is to convince them they’ve been conned. But when that epiphany comes, the reaction is anger. In this case the membership realizes they’ve been conned and he realizes he’s the one who’s going to have to explain to a bunch of hard hats why he allowed himself to be used as a sock puppet with Joe Biden’s fist up his rear end and his fingers wagging his jaw now and for the next four years. It doesn’t make for very comfortable seating.

  35. Replaced with green jobs that are all heavily subsidized by the government.
    Yet another scheme that is essentially digging holes and filling them back up again. First you need people to dig the holes and people to schedule the hole digging and set up a payroll office. Then you need surveyors so the people digging the holes know where to dig as well as storehouses for all that digging gear along with people to manage the storehouses.
    All sorts of spin-off jobs and not a damn one of them useful to anybody but those who waste resources to do them.
    These pointless green make-work projects sound an awful lot like communist five year plans where useful work is rarely done but goals must be met.
