Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

No sympathy from me. You deliberately stepped in it and now you have to clean the gunk off your shoe.
You noticed that too? He was rubbing his shoes and sox!!
Can we have the resident body language interpreter in here please??!
That’s the kind of self-soothing a 5-year old child does. Rocking back and forth in his high chair rubbing his foot. That’s Toddler behavior … self-soothing
That’s Toddler behavior … self-soothing
You just described Prinz Dummkopf.
so agree……even a blind person could see the body squirm, Whoa that was baddddddd!
“He’ll be the best union president…” Fellow leftist spouting BS.
Creating jobs through economic growth are real. But Xiden Zhou killed those to the detriment of the US (and Canadian) economy.
You do not create jobs out of make-work projects; government jobs do not grow an economy. The clean-up of halted projects will only take out of the economy.
Governments do not create jobs.
Government jobs (sic) are not jobs.
A whole lot of belief or should I say faith in the creation of “green” jobs to replace those icky petro jobs. The reality of the Biden agenda is going to whack labour really hard and I think this guy knows it but can’t bring himself to say it.
He’s worried about being whacked by the union members he’s selling out. Rat.
He should be-it’s so typical of Union fatcats to screw their membership, yet they cry about “Republicans” undercutting union organizing when in reality, few people want to belong to unions because of these sleazy a*sholes who use member dues to back politicians for only their benefit. SCUM, ALL!
He’s worried about being whacked by the union members he’s selling out.
Internal union squabbles are nothing new and they can get nasty. Look up to what happened to Jock Yablonski of the United Mine Workers of America in the late 1960s. The Sopranos were a nice bunch by comparison.
I heard a story that the Sylvester Stallone movie F. I. S. T. was loosely based on the incident.
Robert, that’s O’Butthole’s agenda, Bin Biden has no mind, and NO say in things
Gym,
I agree. I was using “Biden agenda” loosely. It is quite evident that Biden is a puppet who does not even know what he is signing.
He says that … “Fracking needs to be studied”. How IGNORANT can one be? How long has Fracking been going on? And we need to … *ahem* … “study” it more? Fer The Christ’s sake … who do these people think they’re fooling!? So a “Labor Leader” is in favor of shutting down America’s most lucrative export … oil and natural gas … so some dickheads can “study” Fracking!? And what do you suppose said dickheads will find!? Ohhhhhhhh Mo’mmmmmaaaa … they’ll say … Fracking is toxic and will kill us all!!
Not to worry though, Right? Because Biden will build back better *gag* with solar panel manufacturing jobs … or RotoRooter pipe leak fixing. So. Joe Chi Min plans to use the “broken window” economic model. Put everyone to work rebuilding existing infrastructure … whether it’s broken or not. A permanent WPA … doing busy work.
The left are doing EVERYTHING they can to crash and burn our country
Joe Chi Min
I’m gonna steal that.
Hope into one hand and $#!t into the other, see which one fills up first.
Yikes! He did not enjoy that interview.
That guy consumes hundreds of thousands of dollars in union dues (if not millions when you factor in his pension, trips, golf memberships, Democrat donations, expenses etc). I’m not sure how much union dues are, but you have to wonder if the union members think they’re getting good value for their dues when their union head is defending the guy that just cancelled their jobs.
Shovel Ready Jobs.
Bahaha.
The only Shovel Biden is carrying with his Green New Deal is to bury Canadian, American, and Mexican Jobs.
Bye bye America, Mexico, Canada.
“Hello” Guatemalan Drug Cartels.
Miss Me Yet ????
The only way we can ever win, If the Farmers go on strike.
Make those SOS Bitches in the Pm, Presidential White House’s eat stale cornbread and buttermilk.
Dues are generally 2% of wages
It’s not a screwup unless he suffers personal consequences. And I mean personal. Loss of job and pension for openers. Union members treating him the way members of the Trump admin got treated in public. Absent consequences no problem.
A one-way “trip to the mountains” (to a prison camp to end his days in slavery, as his north Korean comrades put it euphemistically) would be too good for him.
It might gradually awaken him to the possibility that he made a mistake somewhere along the line, though.
He didn’t fu$k up, he just lied to his members.
He knows. He cares less than you’d think.
His organization is a racket. It always has been. It has ensured its protection from being broken up, and protection of its leadership from lengthy prison terms, by helping to finance Democratic campaigns.
It is tolerated by corporate America because in a world where everything can be outsourced to slave labour camps in China, a theoretical obligation to pay union scale is a socially acceptable excuse to close a factory and move it across the Pacific, and blame the working stiffs for getting greedy.
Donald Trump is the leader of the only genuine workers’ and farmers’ movement most living Americans have ever seen. That’s a big reason the AFL-CIO opposed him.
In an America where jobs paying a living wage to Americans were plentiful—due to a restoration of America’s manufacturing sector and an end to Third World immigration into the United States—nobody would have any use for the AFL-CIO.
Post-Trump, we know that Washington, D.C. and Wall Street are rackets, too. Trump did what they said couldn’t be done. “And it was easy!”
Another useful idiot. Whomever he works for, it isn’t the members who pay him.
A message for all you unions out there.
Just another member of the Parasitic Overload.
While the union pays his wages,he ain’t working for the union members.
But even if the members rose up in revolt, this critter would just ooze straight into a paid position with the Uni-Party of the Bureaus.
Is it just me,or are the Power Hungry, trying to promote an insurrection?
That Time Magazine Braggato fits right in with this interview.
Mind if I borrow “Parasitic Overload”? That’s the best description of some of the drones I encountered in my working life.
How many people sold their soul to get Trump out of the White House?
This guy is most likely one of them.
Um Joe, I don’t think Trumpka actually has a soul to sell.
And Xiden Zhou is going to save us all.
I thought for a minute that he was going to take off his shoe and throw it at the interviewer. Fidgety fat assed liar.
That’s an interview with one of the most successful serial job destroyers defending his benefactor (swamp creature Biden) who is beholden to his job / economy destroying green theocracy underwriters. Union membership over the last 40 years has gone from 20.1% to 10.3% with the private sector now at 6.2%. The largest three unions in the US are now in the public sector. It was fitting that union dues-enriched Trumpka was backgrounded with gilded gold.
For an interesting review of US labor leadership SDA readers should look at the sordid details of the UAW since 2008. Virtually, if not all of the top leadership are under indictment or in prison on corruption convictions. The union is under Federal Supervision for the graft and theft by the leadership. GM and Chrysler were basically given to the unions by Obama. Leadership spent years stealing and plundering
+++farmer
The IBEW is no better. I knew a member and the BS that went on was unbelievable, so he left.
Two minutes of bullshit, I would not expect any less from a union communist.
Another “union leader” with no skin in the game. He still gets his salary just like china joe and the rest of the parasites in dc. He was counting on getting a dump truck full of cash for his endorsement of cho and kamel uh. And he will get it.
sortawitte: ‘Cho’. Terrific, thanks.
So, for me it’s Cho Bai Den from now on.
* is going to create jobs. Right. And skittle pooping unicorns are on their way.
Hardly a screw up – He knew exactly what he was doing and if it cost a few thousand jobs…so be it, it sure as hell wouldn’t be his job on the line. Backing Trump only to lose would have meant there’d be holy hell to pay from the Left and he’d never live it down. He was one of Trump’s biggest critics in 2015…but once Trump won he couldn’t get his fat union ass into Trump Towers fast enough to make nice.
Lucky for him Trump has thick bark.
The thug ain’t worth 16 million cause he’s stupid
Watch what the Union stiff is doing with his right hand. I’m sure a Body Language expert would have much to say about this!
Yep…noticed by a few here…BADR @11:58 suggests he is wiping poop off his shoes.
He backed him accidentally on purpose.
Right lets take a pipefitter, welder, electrician out of the skilled labour market and place them in a remedial project to reclaim an open pit coal mine in West Virginia. Is the government project going to pay them the going trade rate from their prospective trades to spread soil and some of the bullsh*t this guy espouses, and plant trees and grass? No you can bet your ass/donkey that the government is going to employ some of the illegal aliens coming across the border to do the remedial work required and Joe the Plumber is once again left holding the bag. Illegal immigration is nothing more than State Sanctioned Slavery and the Democrats can’t wait to bring it in.
What’s your net worth Ricky?
You get wealthy supporting DemocRats….Conservatives…..no so much.
Where’s Robert DeNiro when you need him?
What a joke, creating as many or more jobs in renewable fuels, every single kilowatt hour of them reliant on taxpayer support.
IOW Biden destroys jobs cancelling Keystone and shutting down oil and gas resources on federal land, but replaces them with “renewable” jobs, by destroying other jobs by subsidizing renewable energy, thus destroying net jobs throughout the economy.
Remember you can always get a job making solar panels – in China. Actually you can’t, they sell them to suckers like us.
Ah, but renewable projects can create jobs, as long as somebody else besides them pays for it and takes all the risks:
“Overall, renewables, AS LONG AS THEY CONTINUE TO RECEIVE FUNDING AND SUPPORT, “APPEAR” to be as beneficial for job creation and employment totals, or better, compared to fossil fuels.” (MY EMPHASIS ADDED)
https://www.bettermeetsreality.com/does-renewable-energy-create-more-jobs-than-fossil-fuels-renewable-energy-jobs-vs-fossil-fuel-jobs/
The Democrats have long since stopped being the party of the working stiff. The last president more closely fit that bill.
Cancelling Keysone XL on the FIRST DAY was a mistake.
That gave me a good chuckle.
As did the notion that on the SECOND DAY Bai Den promised to create way way more jobs in the green sector.
Geez, it just hit me: there’s a kinda biblical thing going on here, eh.
Aaahhh, buyer’s remorse …
Tuesday we get to see another impeachment fart telling us all the terrible things Trump has done to our country and the ruling elete.
I hope we can find 3 weeks of ‘Sergeant Preston of the Yukon’ reruns.
Reminds me of this interview….
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ6JxAgmxXg
He backed Biden because just like the Democrat leaders, he only pretends to care about those peons he supposedly represents. My brief time in the Teamsters taught me that union leaders are just a different species of power-hungry politician. Keeping their gravy train flowing is JOB #1.
A co-worker often summed up both management’s and the union’s priorities as such… “Fix the blame, not the problem”. Describes liberal politicians perfectly too, doesn’t it?
Irrespective of what happens, he’s eating well.
Nice body language analysis:

I remember all the “green jobs” they created in Ontario. They were counting dog walking to boost the feeble numbers. Imagine an advanced society destroying good jobs and lives like this. Not so advanced.
Fun fact: the city of Toronto sells and requires a special dog walking license if you walk someone else’s dog.
Trudope and Wacky Joe produce the horseshit and the media spreads it . Oh and too many idiots consume it .
It’s easier to con someone than it is to convince them they’ve been conned. But when that epiphany comes, the reaction is anger. In this case the membership realizes they’ve been conned and he realizes he’s the one who’s going to have to explain to a bunch of hard hats why he allowed himself to be used as a sock puppet with Joe Biden’s fist up his rear end and his fingers wagging his jaw now and for the next four years. It doesn’t make for very comfortable seating.
Replaced with green jobs that are all heavily subsidized by the government.
Yet another scheme that is essentially digging holes and filling them back up again. First you need people to dig the holes and people to schedule the hole digging and set up a payroll office. Then you need surveyors so the people digging the holes know where to dig as well as storehouses for all that digging gear along with people to manage the storehouses.
All sorts of spin-off jobs and not a damn one of them useful to anybody but those who waste resources to do them.
These pointless green make-work projects sound an awful lot like communist five year plans where useful work is rarely done but goals must be met.
Meanwhile the Republicians that thought it would be cute to back back the Dems on impeachment are getting their asses kicked back in their hometowns.

He’s stressing about having to remove his ankle holster for the interview.
