That’s precisely what the Republican party needs — leaders who don’t fall for the false promise of respect from the mainstream media. It was bad enough before Trump won in 2016. The MSM hacks would dangle carrots for witless Republicans. If the Republicans in question did what they were told — like back stab other Republicans — they’d be treated slightly less awfully in the press. As soon as their service was no longer required, it was back to crap treatment as usual.
All of the biased media malpractice was more veiled and coy before Trump made everyone involved rip off their masks and expose themselves for the cancer that they are. That the insidiousness of their ways is now a fully known commodity and there are still so many Republicans who want to play into their hands is rather disturbing to those of us who found Trump’s media battles such a refreshing change of pace. Decades of watching Republicans like Mitt Romney and George W. Bush gleefully submit to being whipping boys for the MSM had left us searching for reasons to stick with the party.
There’s a lesson there for Canadian Conservatives. They’ll ignore it, of course.

I really have nowhere to go with the crap that passes as thought in this country or the world for that matter. The total and complete ignorance in politics is fucking astounding. The ignorance surrounding the cov2 virus is even more disturbing. I have given Max some modest financial support, something I said I would never do again after I dumped the conservatives. I do believe that the people of Canada are beyond redemption. Canada as a geographical entity will soon be taken over by other races and cultures and they will not be any better than we poor stupid white bastards. I believe the Chinese will profit tremendously from our natural resources because they will just use them without any bullshit concern about global warming, I agree with their stance regarding that. I don’t think I have enough years left to worry about going hungry although Trudeau could have have us all starving in less than a year. My kids and grandkids will be strangers in this land but that is beyond my control. The words fuck it all, seem to be most appropriate.

What the left, the democrats, the liberals, the media, Hollywood, diversities etc have been doing to conservatives is nothing short of torture.
We are not allowed to speak freely on social media, we are continually called racists, bigots and homo-phoebes. We frequently beaten on the streets buy left wing thugs. Our elections are stolen as seen on Nov 3rd in the USA.
We are being denied our livelihoods through cancellation or outright arson on our business. Making conservative families unemployable and starving is one of their most enjoyable goals.
We are vilified at every opportunity and while law breakers of the left get a free pass, we are prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
This can only end when we get up on our hind legs and start shooting back in a big way. I means literally. Because talking to brain washed fools is not working and never will.

Election 2:
You voted for the moron. Now we pledge to try to clean it up. But it won’t be a walk in the park. When the people learned that they could vote themselves largesse, and the political class conspired to pander to them, it was the end of functioning democracy.
Or, and here’s a crazy thought, actually persuade voters with a platform based on meaningful policies that will help average Canadians rather than meaningless, pandering blatherings based on some focus group in the 905 and then defend those plans vigorously while attacking the Liberals, rather than playing footsie with a press corps that hates them.
There are more than enough voters who are not lefties or progressives or socialists who don’t like Trudeau but see no reason to vote for some guy whose name they don’t know and who has no identity other than the media says he’s a bigot. You have to give those people something to vote for.
The problem is how do you get your message out. The natural governing party (phrase used by the communist cesspool people) run by Turd Jr. has bought the media and social media will censure you.
If the Torys running the part haven’t figured that out yet they should be fired. It’s not the media’s fault that nobody knows who O’Toole is or what the CPC stands for – it’s their fault cause they are MIA on every major issue of the day. If they actually opposed the government and offered alternative plans and ferociously attacked the Liberals 24-7, then they would get coverage.
When’s the last time your CPC MP was in the local media or national press? What do they do? What do they stand for? Do you even know who they are? They are the problem.

Harper should have canned the CBC and refused to approve Bell Canada’s media concentration even if he had to make himself Heritage Minister to ensure it got done. Instead he axed the only conservative channel in Canada, Sun News. Harper was a fool who though the game wasn’t rigged. Thank goodness he wasn’t as stupid as Scheer or The Toole.
Canning the CBC would feel great, and would help a bit, but all the rest of the media are in the tank, too.

Canadian political parties described in terms of policies is quite simple:
The NDP are the closest party to communism as they vacillate between the socialism and fascism that flank communism. The NDP has also usurped the Green’s policies. They have embraced post modern nihilism (identity politics, gender, and all other woke pathologies).
The Liberal party is a kleptocratic party in terms of policies and depending on which way the wind blows, will steal policies from whichever party that will help them achieve and hold power, most recently being the NDP and Green parties, including post modern nihilism. The LPC is also an inherently corrupt party with strong links to corporations in Ontario and Quebec, world governance players, and very likely, the Chinese Communist party.
The Greens are essentially a “happy-faced” fascist movement that will justify any assault on liberty in the name of their pseudo-environmental pantheism. Given their declining support from the reality of losing most of their platform to their leftist brethren of the NDP and Liberal parties, they are currently losing political relevance.
The Conservatives are more of a big tent of factions at war with one another than a party with coherent policies and support. Policies consist of various (fatal) compromises between fascism, socialism, Green theocracy and liberty with essentially few policies that would qualify as near libertarian anymore. Internal factions include social conservatives (currently being purged), fiscal conservatives, and the ever present, Red Tories. They are essentially a slightly less statist version of the Liberals and whose only successes in forming government were achieved in this generation through a fortuitous split in votes for the NDP, Greens and Liberals.
The PPC is a political splinter from the Conservatives consisting of followers of a single Libertarian-leaning and purged Conservative party lieutenant. They are more popular than the Libertarian Party whose supporters in Canada could unfortunately only fill a few buses, but remain unelectable by nature of their appeal being outweighed by the significantly more numerous and decidedly statist factions remaining in the Conservative party.
All of the above but least of all, the PPC are the habitat of a large number of an essentially mindless mushy middle quantum of people with no strong policy interest, commitment or grasp and whose party loyalty is mercurial. This low bar of human ballast is what determines election outcomes and catering to them predominantly drives the political actions and policies of all electable parties.
I have little faith that Canadian Cons can make ANY forward movement without slaying our establishment media first.
We are constantly on our back foot, defending ourselves and then bitching about having to do so. I am sick of it. Until we can gain control of some of the message and go on the offensive, we are simply fucked as a political force.

1. No policy or solution alternatives provided by the cpc
2. When we conservatives alla ppc have differing policies we “defend” attacks.

If O’Toole said that Sloan is a full member of the CPC and represents the constituents that voted for him and the CPC are adult enough to hear the voices of people who want to be heard AND tell the media and the Dippers and the Grits to eff off and mind their own house. That would be a formula for success.
Now, if the CPC actually countered the narrative and propaganda of the Wuhan Virus. Say that they would have committee meetings now to discuss and disseminate info from other (viz. non-corrupted UN-type) scientists to see if there are other ways, and to strike a Royal Commission, once forming a government, to look into who and how things were handled and mishandled. That would be showing some testicles.
Canada has become effeminate. We are “scared” of a virus and want government to fix so we can be “safe”. Now is exactly the time for so-called leaders to tell Canadians it’s time to put the Big Boy pants on and get to effing work. Physicians and Nurses are overworked…. booo hoooo. You signed up for it and you get the big bucks for it. Perhaps having the ability to actually work and go the extra mile when needed should be a medical school entrance qualification instead of what member of a protected or promoted class you are. I don’t hear fire suppression crews going “Oh, its so hot and firey and I only want to work an eight hour day”. But then again, they tend to be crewed by folks who are not diversity hires.
