Unfortunately, with this one executive order, Biden shows that he’s intent on giving regulators carte blanch to impose massive new rules on businesses and households, on virtually anything and everything they do, regardless of costs. There’s little else Biden has done so far that will have as wide-ranging an impact.

Can’t get the story, but even in the unlikely event that Trawna and environs would suffer, the majority of that electorate supports turdo, sing-along-Singh, or pink tories; so anyone that stupid will blame Trump instead of engaging in a bit of introspection.
I replaced the link with a better one.
The term, “Good and hard” comes to mind. It might be what those idiots back east needs to wake the “F” up!
Silly me, as Jamie above says, They’ll find a way to blame Trump. No matter, they’ll still have a tough time if they lose that line, and also don’t allow the new tunnel to be built. Even so, there will be a very long delay between the line shut and the tunnel completion. Elections do have consequences, on both sides of the border. I bet Michigan regrets electing Whitmer, and they will regret allowing the fraudulent election of Biden, and just maybe, the Sarnia, Tronna, and eastern electors will finally regret electing our current idiot as well. With luck, that revelation might emerge before the sock monkey calls the spring election.
The United States did not vote Biden in. Most understood the unprecedented threat to our freedoms.
Linda, I fully agree, however, I did state “the fraudulent election of Biden”.
In real time, we have the Chinese curse of, May you live in interesting times.
That was most of my thought at first reading, too, Linda. Then I realized he was starting with the mayor of Sarnia as the easterners who deserved to get it, and erased my comment without posting.
As an optimist, I would like to think that if/when Line 5 is shut down, and we all start freezing in the dark, that maybe some of the looney left might wake up and realise what ending fossil fuels actually feels like.
You can’t reason with them (One cannot reason with the unreasonable), so you have to make sure they suffer the consequences of their actions. Sadly it will hurt all of us, but maybe it has to happen.
One can hope that it will expose Blackie for the weak, corrupt, dangerous fool that he is.
Gerry: you posted while I was typing, we clearly think along the same lines.

I have been SERIOUSLY proposing that ALL fossil fuel manufacturers and users simply STOP providing their product(s).
Better still … let the crazy-eyed leftist politicians do it instead. Good and Hard. Faster!
Looks like the communists have taken complete control. I wonder where all the armed patriots with the constitution on their side disappeared to. You folks do know that Biden is writing absolutely nothing except his name?
I may get “incoming” for this but I have a question:-
If it turns out that 1776 was lost without a shot being fired can we expect a recycling of that joke about “Rifles available. Never fired, dropped once”?
volwg – exactly right. Biden has no policies, no agenda, and no ideology [other than money]. All these plans and agenda are from the Obama Gang, who now run Biden and simply prop him up in a chair, hand him the pen and tell him to ‘sign this’. Biden himself has no idea what he’s doing.
The are wrong.
The greatest attempt to regulate the U.S. economy was Franklin Roosevelt’s National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA), and the resulting National Recovery Administration. It was overtly statist and may well have been modelled on the methods of fascist governments in Europe. Certainly its “Blue Eagle” program appears fascist to us today.
The Supreme Court ruled that parts of the NIRA were unconstitutional, resulting in Roosevelt seriously considering packing the SCOTUS.
Does this look fascist to you?

Is the federal Liberal gov’t of Trudeau going to go to bat for the Line 5 pipeline through Michigan and remain quiet regarding the XL Pipeline?
That’ll be interesting, how are the separation polls showing in AB/Sask. at the moment?
*Hold firm Gretchen… lol..
Trouble is: Blackie canned pipelines like Energy East and Northern Gateway – to save the planet. So if he objects to the US cancelling/closing pipelines he is a hypocrite (he is anyway, just more obvious to the great unwashed) and if he doesn’t, then he seriously hurts his main voter base in ON & QC.
Beer and popcorn at the ready
Ready with the salt and extra butter there Mark Absent.
This will be fun to see how The Spawn can twist and slither out of the support for his Ontario voters and still kiss the XL bye bye.
Eventually, the hypocrisy will get him. Only question is, will it get him before the snap election that Erin The Tool is unprepared for?
You are so right, Frank.
Except the Spawn does not have to twist and slither. (He is not bright enough to, anyway.)
CBC and CTV will run interference for him, and the masses will assume, “Well, all the commentators say there is nothing to see here. Wonder how the Flames are doing?”
Re. other pipelines – interesting that all these supposed “greenies” would rather keep 50 year old pipelines operating than install new ones with modern sensors to detect even miniscule leaks, a far more efficient transport to energy ratio, and a much better safety record.
That is a question not being asked.
Frank, you will have neither if the government is allowed to stand.
With our media? The usual puppy dogs and babies on the news all day out here. Hasn’t changed for 40 years. And it’s sunny all day.
I don’t understand. CNN and the rest of the North American media are saying that Dementia Joe is doing a wonderful job. And the regular White House press conferences are love fests.
This seems appropriate:

Are we all beginning to understand now why they are keeping the National Guard and the security and the new wall (Walls are Needed to Protect Dems!) around the White House?
Once the full impact of what these Executive Orders of the Dems are doing to everyone (except the elite) dawns on the general population, the Dems know they’ll need protection from We the People. They’re not scared of elections at all, because they cheat. But they are scared of an uprising against their draconion policies as they use “global warming” and “CoVid” and “equity of outcome ” – instead of equal opportunity – to suppress freedoms and prosperity of the masses.
Dictatorships fear their own people most of all, which is why their protection for themselves and the use of military force against their own people is always off the charts in North Korea, China, Venezuela, the Middle East, Russia, etc.
The army, the wall, the censorship, the intimidation tactics using the FBI etc, the demonizing of any political opposition … Are we beginning to understand what we are seeing take place in Washington DC and across the States right now?
There will be no uprising. Courage is needed for that and there is no courage.

Thank you,
I would say that most of the dimz in power in the US are beholden to Warren Buffett for untraceable campaign funds. He is the majority shareholder in BNSF railroad. So, anyone that takes his money becomes anti-pipeline, whether or not it’s what they feel inside. Before I retired from the oil bidness, the last stats I saw showed pipelines to be 10x as safe as trains for transporting crude, LNG, etc. Money talks, bullshit just sits there.
The good people of Sarnia and eastern Canada need not fear. No oil or gas? Just use solar. 😮
A radical globalist elite are in control now, and they signalled through their fraudulent election that they don’t really case what the opinion of the masses happens to be, if it’s “wrong” it will be “corrected.”
The ultimate correction is yet to come.
I have to agree Peter. Anxiously waiting for the hand wringing and the cries of “if only we’d known”
