The Canadian government has gone to the Federal Court in an attempt to protect “sensitive” information about the raid of a Quebec company that was searched by the RCMP as part of an investigation into the alleged diversion of technology with military uses to China.
RCMP officers searched JYS Technologies in Brossard, Que., in 2018. They were acting at the request of the FBI, which was looking for evidence of money-laundering, fraud and the procurement and export of U.S. technology and defense information.
Two years later, the federal government is now trying to stop the release of details of that search.

Strange, no mention of this on the Liberal Party’s CBC or the Liberal Party’s CTV.
” … no mention of this on the Liberal Party’s CBC or the Liberal Party’s CTV.”
That’s because they’re just so busy trying to get to the bottom of this that haven’t had time to mention it yet.
Right?
Well, even though the Liberal’s Global TV mentioned this, they were smart enough to disable comments so you guys don’t give away any state secrets.
Although I’m pretty sure that grateful Liberals ensure that there are no state secrets with comrade China.
Funny how quickly they hush up the work of FBI agents who go after real criminals.
All those Asian faces in high-tech or high security jobs. Is every one a spy or just half of them?
Many industrial firms have farmed out their research and development activities to universities. Graduate students work on those projects and many of them are from China. There’s no vetting or security checks on any of them. I think you can see how what happens next.
Ask Diane Feinstein.
I used to work for a global contract electronics manufacturing corporation. During a two year period when we were working on a $100M consumer electronics project, we fired three separate engineers for delivering our confidential IP and trade secrets to Chinese companies.
And that was for a mid-tier smartphone that never reached market.
One of the authors of the article – Stewart Bell – was for many years the best source in the mainstream media on Canada’s home-grown Islamic terrorists. He was at the National Post then and was never afraid to challenge the left-wing narrative that all immigrant cultures were equal and all made good Canadians. It is good to see that he is still around and challenging Justin’s admiration for China’s basic dictatorship.
“ In court documents obtained by Global News, the Department of Justice argued that disclosing parts of the case would harm Canada’s international relations, national defence, or national security.”
International relations with who?
Would it create a scenario where a certain federal politician would be incarcerated once they crossed the US border if this information came out?
Joseph, what national defence?
” International relations with who?”
Don’t you mean ‘International relations with Hu?’

Canada has become a very dangerous country. Not only to Canadians but Americans and other countries.
We can’t even stop whiny indians from blockading railways and roads.
Hnatyshyn would have dissolved Parliament, and simply called an election over something like this. Too bad we don’t have Governor Generals anymore.
This seems like either treason, or blackmail. The Chinese may well have issued an ultimatum, that they would immediately execute their Canadian hostages. Hell, could be both. Treason alone seems likeliest, as no Liberals have been rounded up by the CCP.
If you are going to do business in China, I recommend you buy a Liberal Party membership, and make a big donation to the Trudeau Foundation before you start.
