  1. Is there a Cole’s Notes version?
Who the hell has 3 hours to waste on a Youtube video??
Long-winded videos are not a particularly effective way to disseminate information.

Just about anybody that usually watches NHL playoffs this time of year.

Oh, and maybe health care workers… apparently in rough numbers BC has about 380 registered nurses, 64 doctors, and two hospitals for every hospitalized COVID-19 patient.

  2. Mr Teach, respectfully, I do get how busy people are, especially if you’re not locked up or down right now.

But neat little packaging of info & news allows the packagers to spoon feed us.

Long winded, but quality info that you process yourself is infinitely better than the sound bites & multiple filtered info deployed today.

For many people, JRE interviewing Jordan Petetsen was their first exposure to him, outside of CBC types telling us he was a bad nazi type.

That said, in few weeks there will be JRE clips of this, 10 minute snacks.

I firmly believe one of the reasons we are so jammed up right now, is that we
convinced ourselves we were too busy to be sufficiently self reliant in many vital areas.

I can read about ten times faster than they can speak. The podcast/vlog format’s original target audience was people commuting or working out. They’re on demand radio shows. I wouldn’t listen to a radio show for three hours when I could finish a decent nonfiction book in the same time span.

  3. I always play these sorts of videos at 1.25, or even 1.5 speed if they are talking slowly enough. As fast as can be played and still be understandable. Really helps.

  4. Nobody is going to sit thru a three-hour Joe Rogan video when we have no idea what it’s about or who the guest is …
