Premiers say no to Trudeau on Emergencies Act
Coronavirus found in air samples up to 13 feet from patients: the virus was most heavily concentrated on the floors of the wards
Well, this is bad; Some weeks ago I voiced concerns that COVID-19 patients had very low T-cells. The disease had many features indicating immunosuppression…

CHINESE VIRUS: US Consulate in Guangzhou 🇨🇳 is reporting that local authorities have issued public orders to bars/restaurants to *NOT SERVE PEOPLE OR AFRICAN ORIGIN* out of #COVID19 fears.

And Bill Maher.
China is a dictatorship that, for decades, enforced a one child per family policy under penalty of forced sterilization. But they can't close down the farmer's market from hell? #CoronaVirus #WetMarkets pic.twitter.com/pvkfhdTk4i

An interesting suggestion…

Use an asymptomatic strain of the virus to generate immunity.
#NoMadeInChina
Agreed. There must be a large, grassroots movement — headed up by a well-funded NGO — to boycott all Chinese- made goods.
No there doesn’t, and there isn’t going to be. Thankfully most people are sane enough to make rational purchasing decisions.
UNME
You and “Rational” in the same sentence just doesn’t work I’m afraid.
Carry on, the lego is just over there in the Big Yellow Box.
If you gave him anything smaller than Duplo you will be picking them out of his nose.
Those voluntary boycotts don’t work especially not when half of the population is lobotomized or imported. Massive tariffs on Chicom goods or outright prohibition works as a restriction. But people will need to accept a temporary spike in prices when producers relocate and they will not always be willing to relocate to civilization. But yes, massive punitive measures are needed to cut them to size. And that is only a first step. They need to be buried and castrated. They are waging economic war on the world and unless we realize how they play and what their objectives are, we will only lose power and they will gain. Enough is enough, we cannot continue and pretend this is free trade, it isn’t btw.
“Massive tariffs on Chicom goods or outright prohibition works as a restriction.”
Massive tariffs on imports from China would mean massively higher funds in the claws of the Crime Minister and substantially less money in the pockets of Canada’s over-taxed taxpayers.
Trudeau will piss away this money on buying off his support base of useless idiots.
Yes possibly.
1. We cannot do it alone.
2. We cannot do it without US.
3. There will be no massive tariff revenue from prohibitive tariffs.
4. Any tariff revenue needs to go directly to reimburse domestic producers sabotaged by foreign powers primarily China but also Iran or Saudis,
FO slaver. Who I buy from is none of your concern. It’s not the government’s job to indulge your Sinophobia.
China is here to stay. You don’t get to say no.
That’s ok thank you. We’ll get back to you as soon as opinions of low IQ members of enemy’s fifth column are needed.
You sound like you will need grief counseling when the Chinese people throw off the shackles of your beloved CCP
“FO slaver. Who I buy from is none of your concern.”
Rich, coming from a tankie that loves a state that makes heavy use of slave labor in their gulags.
“Coronavirus found in air samples up to 13 feet from patients”
So don’t spend a long time in a closed space full of large numbers of the infected. We already knew that, didn’t we?
This is certainly relevant to hospital workers, but not to people taking a walk around the block.
KFG – “Coronavirus found in air samples up to 13 feet from patients” This article contains clues to how we might battle Wuhan Flu:
– only a few paragraphs in the article downplays the headline “the scientists themselves cautioning that the SMALL QUANTITIES OF VIRUS they found AT THIS DISTANCE are NOT NECESSARILY INFECTIOUS”. Note: Like AIDS, you must work at it to get it. The virus needs enough concentration to take hold in your body.
– “Our findings suggest that HOME ISOLATION of persons with suspected COVID-19 MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD CONTROL STRATEGY”. Note: let’s hear the alternatives.
– “Aerosolization of the coronavirus is a contentious area for scientists who study it, because it is NOT CLEAR HOW INFECTIOUS THE DISEASE IS IN THE TINY QUANTITIES FOUND IN ULTRAFINE MIST.”
It’s on Medium, it is contrarian, so expect it to be disappeared. Also, like everything on Medium, we have no proof that the author or his additional authors exist or who they say they are.
But I agree, end the lock down.

Alberta was wll-prepared, at least for PPE. They began topping up by placing orders in December. At least someone wasn’t asleep at the switch, or lulled into complacency by thinking it can’t happen here.

Thanks for posting. Interesting read about something going right in the halls of government.
Agreed Alec..
I’ve travelled a lot, not everywhere but a lot. I also speak enough Chinese to get by. I have never witnessed or heard racism as overt and prevalent as in China. They hate blacks, Japanese and other Asians, though they don’t mind whitey too much, but maybe they’re being polite to me.
The Chinese bought huge quantities of African slaves when the African slave trade was at its height. Want to know why there are very few Blacks in China? Simple…they castrated them before they were allowed to set foot in China.
Ford was being disingenuous when he said that the premiers told Juthtin no and said Juthtin agreed. Why did Shit-for-Brains bring it up then? Why did the call last so long? Why was Horgan swearing in the talk the premiers had before they took the Prime Minstrel’s call?
And why the f**k do we even need a federal government?
We don’t need a federal government.
I am for small government but we do need a limited federal government. The federal government MUST be able to
1. control the borders/immigration
2. defend the country at the drop of a hat
3. negotiate trade agreements with other countries to the country’s benefit
4. support citizens while they are abroad should trouble occur
5. provide a supreme court as a last stop in the judicial system
6. collect a portion of taxes to pay for the above 5 and to reduce the size of the national debt
7. I will also add interprovincial roads, air and seaports.
All other parts of the government should be by provincial governments. I personally think there are way too many civil servants altogether. During the early 70’s, I worked as temp to replace federal civil servants on vacation in the federal government during the summers between years in university. I would estimate that I actually did meaningful work for about 5% of the time. The rest of the time, I read novels, knitted, looked good. The only time I ever saw civil servants “scurry about” was every other Friday when the paycheques were handed out. I bet the same amount of industry happens now.
That’s a pretty sensible list. The trouble of course as we’ve seen comes with border control, immigration and citizenship.
It’s another matter as to how competently the federal government has managed your list of items. One massively tendentious item missing from your list is environment, for which there will be an enormous howl from the Kommunists that there must be a single national regulator in Ministry of the Environment just as there is now. Without a national standard, less than scrupulous businesses can treat the provinces as a shopping mall for the standards they most prefer and effectively play the provinces off against each other.
I suspect we also need a federal government to establish a common currency.
“we also need a federal government to establish a common currency”
We don’t need to establish a currency since we can adopt the British pound. After all, our queen looks very much like theirs.
But they don’t do they. They don’t control the borders and they don’t defend the country. Given that they don’t do anything that they are supposed to do, is there anything stopping all the provinces from becoming independent entities, that can then cooperate, or not, on doing the things the federal government should do, but doesn’t?
3. You don’t need free trade agreements. All you need is unilateral free trade.
re: “All you need is unilateral free trade”. And don’t forget unilateral nuclear disarmament. As Mick Jagger sang, Xi’s the boss…
“And why the f**k do we even need a federal government?”
They just get in the way.
David Akin is getting sweaty and about to faint…
**I’ve long felt that PMJT may be the son of PET but his spirit is guided more by his grandfather, Jimmy Sinclair. This speech in the #HoC more evidence of that.**
https://twitter.com/davidakin/status/1249013834402222080
“…may be the son of PET…”
🙂
Like PET was some sort of god, rather than a total asshole and the one who started this country on the highway to hell.
Wrt the Emergency act.
I would guess that the sock monkey wants to invoke the Act, which he can do anytime without asking anyone.
So why would he ask?
I’m guessing he wants some political cover so he isn’t solely responsible for invoking it.
That and if the act is abused he doesn’t want the premier’s to have a legitimate argument to show he’s using it to punish the provinces that didn’t vote liberal.
Yeah, like when has he ever done that?
There is evidence that says that Pierre Trudeau told Quebec Premier Bourassa to ask him to invoke the War Measures Act in 1970 so it would cover his BS attempt to pretend to be a liberal democratic leader. As we well know Quebec likes to embellish and exaggerate things to make every thing look like a crisis.
As for PM Buttsdeau, they would love to have that totalitarian power because they could dump munney and favors left, right and center to gullible voters just before calling the next election which the shameless Liberals would probably win.
They are thinking ahead to the next election in these actions.
The Premiers are dead right to oppose this lying crowd of Libcomm party of totalitarian criminals.
Just ask Manitoba Premier Palliser what he thinks of the federal Liberals now after the N95 mask fiasco.
#Chexit
C.A.N.A.D.A. is truly pathetic. Grocery stores form 1/4 mile lines outside to maintain the ludicrous social distancing. The ordinary idiots who have no concept of warm clothes freeze in the wind for hours, in order to enter the store. Soon they will be down with common cold and…
Complete the sentence.
COVID is making the world better, one cell at a time. It strikes in all of the right places and targets all of the right categories.
That pusillanimous s**t of a prime minister reminds me of a pompous arrogant teenager that needs to be kicked out the house. You don’t give someone like that power. You just don’t do it. It’s beyond stupid. Yet there he is. Elected twice.
It’s also a result of the public’s poor understanding of how models are made and what questions they can answer. A class in basic statistics should be part of the high school curriculum.
I’d put learning how to make a fire and safely handle and shoot a gun way ahead of that.
Ii is an “and” not an “or”. There is no trade off here.
“A class in basic statistics should be part of the high school curriculum.”
Absolutely. Basic understanding of statistical error, confidence interval, forecasting, inference etc would go a long way to cure the stupidity of people who run away waving their arms and screaming “lies, damned lies and statistics” at the very first sight of a table or a graph.
The Emergencies Act is a mistake.
Racist!
I don’t know about the immunopsuppression. I understood the last stages of the disease were represented by an overactive immune response in the lungs. But what do I know; we are dependent upon the “experts”; I am particularly suspicious of government experts as they have jobs for life and everything they do is political within the bureaucracy the work in.
The ‘Coward in the Cabin’ doesn’t have the stones to invoke the Emergency Act without the approval of the Premiers.
Good. One of the few things we can be thankful for.
Epoch Times (exclusive) has released the first Documentary on the origin of the CCP/Corona virus. Very informative.

Yes, you’re 2 days late.
Yep…Watched it TWICE.
YOU SHOULD Too…!!!!
Shi Zhengli. The architect of the world’s First Virulent Synthetic VIRUS. Built That way….Now one has to seriously think about why the FK, ANY SANE Person would do that.?
It was obviously & simply just a “Scientific Exercise” right.?
Just to see if they could right.?
CCP is an overtly EVIL EMPIRE….these Fkrs make the Borg seem downright Congenial.
Can someone else with qualifications read that COVID T cell paper? I looked at the figures…I don’t think this is good science, but I want someone with more experience in microscopy and flow to call it. Those ‘merged cells’ look like s(*t IMO it almost just looks like background. That flow data is it even data? The y-axis is ‘count’-what? Then this should be a histogram right?
Since males seem to be more susceptible to the Shanghai Shakes, wouldn’t it be wise for our government to make it mandatory for everyone to self-identify as female? Seems to be basic science to me.
As a toxicly masculine white male climate destroying rig hand, i was already identifying as native to get me some treaty monies….guess i could give 110% and identify as a squ*w, kill 2 birds etc
“…….COVID-19 patients had very low T-cells.” So is that what caused the infection take hold or an effect of it taking hold?
johnboy…..I think you’ve nailed it! Simple!
Airborne pathogens traveling 13 feet is nothing new. I guarantee you it’s going further than that…just not on a regular basis. There was a Penn State study on TB a while back, and they tracked that pathogen traveling something like 10 floors through the HVAC system.
BTW…that’s why NYC is getting trounced by this virus. HVAC systems in high story buildings….as well as elevators. But, by all means, let’s close the gardening center at Home Depot.
yea…I’ve heard 60′ from a violent Cough.
https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/tory-calls-for-stricter-covid-19-enforcement-from-police-municipal-officials/ar-BB12tV4F?ocid=spartanntp
“Toronto Mayor John Tory is calling for stricter enforcement of COVID-19 measures after seeing some people not take physical distancing seriously.
The mayor has pushed for tougher enforcement in a letter he sent to Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders and Carleton Grant, the municipal licensing and standards executive director.”
I thought asshole politicians couldn’t direct the police – oh wait, someone’s knocking at my door…
Maybe I’m just paranoid, but this ChiComFlu is sounding more and more like a “test” version of a bio-weapon, expected to spread widely, but not expected to have any huge mortality. In other words, something the ChiComs could monitor and evaluate without raising a bunch of red flags. And then they found out there was a segment of the population that was highly susceptible to the worst outcomes. OOPS!
This virus has way too many strange effects we haven’t seen in any one virus previously. It’s becoming more than simple coincidence.
Not wanting to get into a ticky-tacky argument here. I agree that governments ought to impose tariffs on Chinese goods, as well as undertaking other measures to reduce Chinese influence on North American society. But failing that, a large citizens’ movement could hurt China exports to North America. Right now I am angry at China, and the PC establishment for apologizing for them.
Sorry for the misplaced post. This is in answer to the “boycott of China” discussion way above here, in answer to Colonista.
“I agree that governments ought to impose tariffs on Chinese goods”
FO slaver. Keep your hand out of my wallet.
I wish you were right. Unfortunately all the imported UnMes in Canadian or US population have no vested interest in the success of Western World and see no problem with getting rich from collaboration with the enemy. And so the will continue supporting the enemy. To them West is just foreign as China.
There is no reason to let them do it.
Of course we are going to let them do it as we’re already too far from being a civilized western country in the first place. And so Canada will continue deteriorating. Until is falls to pieces, parts of it into Balkan like bloody nightmare with a good dose of South African like ethnic envy among the low IQ segments of population. There is no escaping it anymore.
In the meantime barbarians will continue toasting each other raising golden chamber pots into the sky.
Overall, this makes sense to me:

Erin O’Toole’s campaign bemoans the release of violent crime suspects from jails.
Should have done their job and toppled the dictatorship. All they had to do was show up and vote. Boo-hoo!
Bill Maher’s gettin the recession he asked for? What’s he bitchin bout?
Can’t stand Maher but he makes some sense here. Very good.
Bill Maher is an anti-Trump but in that video he is saying some of the exact same things Trump said about 3 weeks ago,
such as the fact we should call it the Chinese virus because Viruses are often named after the place they originated from
I find it ironic that a big anti Trump hater ends up making a video
in which he basically agrees with things Trump said weeks before
that the anti Trumpers called ” racist” comments
Hypocrisy
