I believe that in military terns she is classified as a Tanker Without A Tank.
If you were to poll all our Canadian journalists that perform on CBC, CTV, Global and those that write for our newspapers, ask them who they prefer to watch in the US media and gave them two choices, Maddow or Tucker, how far off from 100% would the answer be Maddow?

I laughed so hard I damn near maddowed meself.
A hockey goalie isn’t going to be employed if he misses much more than 10% of the pucks he faces. If a 2nd baseman missed 80% of the balls he attempted to field, he’d never make it out of Little League, let alone the majors. A field goal kicker who missed half the attempted kicks would never even get hired in the first place. These pundits are wrong most of the time. Some of them are wrong almost every time.
So, why are they still employed?
Whatever it is that they’re being paid to do, they’re performing at a satisfactory level. Clearly, accurate analysis and predictions aren’t what they’re being paid to do. They’re being paid to recite a narrative. Over and over, regardless of the accuracy or relevance. They are actors who are paid to read the script.
I have never watched Maddow. Don’t know anything about her.
Cable news is in the entertainment business. They don’t report the news they interpret it for you….make it entertaining.
She must have an audience or someone else would be sitting in her chair.
I always heard that if your ship doesn’t come in, you should swim out to it. Hope she knows how to swim.

When Maddow made her broacdcast on March 20, this was what the officials were saying:
But, since Trump had promised that “there would be a Navy Medical Ship operational in a week”, they likely dropped their maintenance & got there ten days later.
Yes, Maddow said military can’t do it, but Trump said military will do it. Somebody didn’t get the memo, and it was Maddow.
Is ten days “a week” or “weeks”, I’ll let the jury decide. I guess the military did their best, and Maddow just did what Maddow does: spin.
Maddow’s Show Producer & Research assist are both untrained Orangutans..(That’s the AI that they can afford). Note real NBC reporting from LA
A bit like the Yorktown after the Battle of Coral Sea. The carrier was badly damaged and the Rear Admiral on board estimated t would take 90 days to repair the ship. She was needed for Midway and the repairs were completed in three days in time for action.
Wasn’t that more a case of Repairs != Operational? Yorktown did her duty, but she was scuttled after the battle due to the compounding effect of the new damage.
Because of medical difficulties, I cannot bring myself to actually watch Rachel Maddow (in the same way I cannot watch any gore, or sexual assaults, on TV). What did she say in the vid that got people talking?
