Why does it matter where The Virus (out of respect to it, I cannot spell it with small v) originated? It is out there, making the world better.
Does it matter if a bat bit a raccoon, and then the half-cooked raccoon has been devoured at a restaurant?
Does it matter if it was just a half-cooked bat devoured at a restaurant?
Or does it matter if a sloppy lab tech spilled a test tube on his/her uniforms?

Actually, they’re spreading the rumour that Wuhan syndrome is a US bioweapon. A veiled admission of what everybody knows (this is a Chinese WMD that was either released by accident or, worse, is being tested on China’s own people at the insistence of the Red Emperor–much like Maoism).

We’re supposed to refer to it as “COVID-19” now, coronavirus is yesterday’s hype. Saw an article the other day that said it started in an armadillo-like creature which is an endangered species, which is much sexier than bats.
I like the idea of it escaping a weapons lab, gives me great faith that Chinese scientists and civil servants are as much f***ups as ours. 2675 dead last I heard, the media is getting distracted.
I suppose we can pray for a tsunami or earthquake or other climate change caused event. An accidental nuclear strike on Ottawa might get the msm’s attention for a few days.
I think Patient Zero or a close relative of P. Zero was working at the Wuhan Institute of Virology Labs. Maybe it was a tech that was selling used lab animals for a few yuan. The folks in Wuhan tried to cover that up, but when Beijing found out, that is when all those quarantines and what looked like overreactions started. They might not have known exactly what the disease, but they knew it was something from their labs.
They were not overreacting, because they knew where it came from. They should be very thankful that it was not an extremely fatal version of the virus.
Now the question is, “Can the rest of the world slow the spread, or will we all be Wuhan by December?” Based on what happened in the US during the SARS and MERS epidemics, the US may not be badly affected by the disease itself. There were only two person to person infection transmissions in the US so far. YEA!!!
The economic fallout of a broken China may be the biggest harm.
In the mean time, wash your hands, cover your cough, and avoid crowds.
And don’t believe anything you read about the virus until it has been officially denied by Beijing.
Definitely better than the flu, several European countries jumped to double digits overnight, the front runners today are:
South Korea: 556 cases (was double digits yesterday)
Japan: 135
Singapore: 85
Italy: 79
Turd world shitholes: nobody is bothering to count, better to look the other way.
