    If a railway strike can make the eastern b*st*rds freeze in the dark without their propane deliveries, hopefully a blockade can accomplish the same result.

    1. Really, shouldn’t they be taking this up a notch?
      I mean if they really want to make an impact they need to take their protest to Union Station during morning rush. To make the point hit home even more effectively they should be situated in front of Starbucks.
      Trust me no one, no matter how upset they get by the inconvenience will dare to confront the protesters out of fear of being called the r word.

    At least the RCMP is actually acting to arrest and start the process of throwing the deadbeats and terrorists in jail

    Meanwhile in Wangcouver and Whacktoria, the mayors of each town are allowing the whackadoodles block traffic endlessly for days, and camp out at the legislature with no penalties whatsoever, while the Donut Patrol stands watch, sipping coffee and carbo loading. They are also blocking the Deltaport of heavy cargo and materials, thank you Delta police for doing NOTHING. Their chief was quoted on the news as doing their jobs by “ensuring a peaceful situation”

    Hmmmm, Isn’t the cops jobs to be enforcing the law and arresting lawbreakers? INDEED, a protected class, and the rest of us are supposed to just keep going to work, and SHUT UP!

    The National Post is going the way of the CBC. This is a story of Indigenous bands blocking CN trains in Ontario. That is my comment that’s being held for moderation. I’ve had others deleted for similar reactions. Thus if any of you believe that the National Post is a Conservative newspaper, think again.

    The media cartel, being run by the UNIFOR fascists, supported by the $600 million that the government of Canada bought on credit, since it has no bloody money, will not find out.

    They are being paid, only few old ladies with nothing else to do will join them for free.

      What I find so hypocritical is to watch the Indians show up at these roadblocks driving gasoline or diesel powered pickups. Better yet, if you notice on some of the photos, the headlights are on, thus the engines are idling.

    2. The Traditional Chiefs don’t want socialism, they want their feudalism back. Their ancestors (parents, grandparents, or further back) were the chiefs, the local kings. They want that power back, but want to keep all of the modern conveniences that make life so much easier.

      They were the penultimate wave of migrants, and were treated far, far better than they had treated the 3rd-to-last wave. Unlike much of the rest of the country, there were no signed treaties for much of the province of BC.

      During the Oka blocades a few decades ago, the Kitwanga band blocked HWY37 so that logging trucks could not run. They wanted a voluntary tithe of 20% of the value of all timbers that came from (or were transported across, if I remember correctly) their traditional lands. And they thought that that was fair, because they were here “first”, so they were owed.

  9. There is no hope until the various levels of government grow a pair and stand up to the thugs (who BTW are often masked – the cowards that they are). Take them to court and sue for economic damages and if awarded, deduct said damages off their welfare payments if they don’t pay up.

    Lawyers get paid by the government to take the government to Court. It’s ridiculous, but that’s how they get their way every time.

    Instant Indian protests, homeless industry protests, students too of course, these are all billion dollar industries that get their way with Canadian taxpayers. Yet voters don’t care, it’s incredible.

  12. There is a beauty to this farce,when we shut down all trains crossing Alberta,we will be “Native protesters”.
    Do like the Federal Government ,hire some actors to pretend whatever status is desired and call in the media.
    Remember,under that Supreme Court ruling,we are all Metis Now.
    If Western Separatists were to stop the trains,well that would be “Extremists”,Radicals and “Very Very Bad” over at the Media Party.
    But all dressed up as “We were here first”(Although we wiped out those before us) we will be untouchable.
    Actually once the Reservation Indians(Wards of State) in Alberta realize how beneficial Independence will be to them,we will not need actors.

    Meanwhile,the Federal Government continues to rub it in,Some citizens are more equal than others.In the name of fairness?

  18. What the CPC hasn’t figured out is that not only are they not going to get donations but they are loosing the support of their base . They believe there is no choice while many of us believe there is no difference.

      This is why I suspect a contrary, media crushing conservative could provoke that 35% of Canadians who refuse to vote,to come to the polls.

      thus voters are presented with hard core true LIEberalism a la the TURDoo 2.0, or the wannabe whatevers, wearing the veneer of LIEberalism with a hint of artificial ‘sweetener’, now only *mimicking* true conservative values.
      ergo, voters who SEEK true LIEberalism, will go for the ‘real thing’.
