  2. This is an area where the hysteria pimps have resorted to blatant lies rather than the more obtuse data manipulation and results-driven modelling of the CAGW cults. On the radio this morning, the media parrots who can always be counted on to go to the least objective sources were featuring a “Union of Concerned Scientists” spokesmen saying: “THE PLANET IS ON FIRE!”. I wonder if kids these days have even heard of “chicken Little”.

    1. The planet is DYING!! We’re all gonna DIE … because I eat ground beef? Because my water is heated by natural gas? Because my furnace burns natural gas? Because my automobiles burn gasoline? Because I enjoy sipping from a plastic straw every once in a while? Right.

      This is ALL 1st-world non-problems. The entire Global-Warming-caused-by-Co2 is gonna consume the planet in flames … is just so much nonsense. But it has become fully politicized with conservatives and leftists taking up their predictable positions. And a lot of people are getting RICH$$$ … or at least a guaranteed government contract to create more “science” from this FAKE “crisis. Uh oh!! Here comes another “tipping point”!, where it’s too late … the temperatures are running away!! Time to find something else to take away from you!

  12. The alarmists will look at the short period from 2011 to present where there appears to be a short term rise and ignore the much longer period from 1971 to 2011 where there is an obvious persistent decrease. The media (97%?) will go with the short term.

  13. Oddly related,the Ontario teachers Strike..
    Their “graduating Product” can look at this graph and still see “increasing Hurricanes and tornados”.
    Perhaps the Provincial Government should tell the teachers;”Your product is useless,so we are shutting the schools down for good.”
    Private schools only,from now on.
    Public education,has not worked.

    The whole meme is built on this ,most of the IPCC’s referenced “science” does not support the claims they make.
    Cult Members are afraid to research history or actually read the Papers they proclaim.
