  11. What is the physiological makeup of a news org that would air this type of crap? The talking heads are a dime a dozen. It is all about the people directing this. CNN has not been relevant for many years now.

    1. CNN is only viewed at airports these days. They have as many real viewers as Mattie’s Knitting Corner on the local Billings Montana cable service.

    3. That goes a lot for the MSM, if it wasn’t for carriage fees in Canaderp, most local programming, even from Victoria, would be DOA, and that would be a good thing. One would also assume that the Corps with commercials would be leaning heavily on craptacular ratings, to reduce their costs to advertise, or walk away. THen of course, you still have TW that would fund CNN until it threatens the whole corporation. That seems unlikely, but its difficult to see how Zucker has kept his job, what with the terrible and consistent loss of viewers. Oh, how CNN has fallen from its glory days over 20 years ago.
      On another note, if anyone has ever seen the local CTVVI “news” cast from Victoria, you would know what I mean. Its a kiddie show, these little maolings are a sad excuse. What started over 10 years ago with some promise, is now a millennial make work project.

I once had a conversation with my father-in-law and he was spouting off about something… I think it was during the Kavanaugh appointment debacle… and I told him that he marinated himself a little too much in the CBC. He denied it and I called him on it and said, ‘ok, other than the CBC, where do you get your news?’ He says: “I watch CNN too.” And the thing is… he was totally serious.
