  2. She can’t disappear fast enough for me. Jenica Atwin, newly elected (unfortunately Green) MP from NB is a real looker. Some young guy needs to take on the project of “intellectually” straightening her out. The Greens really disappointed me by not taking more NDP and Liberal votes. That’s the problem when they are all virtually indistinguishable.

  5. The best Liz May moment was when Lisa Raitt gentle pulled a very drunk May off the podium at the press gallery dinner and escorted her off the stage after she said “Omar Khadr, you’ve got more class than the whole f***g cabinet”
    That pretty well sums up how bat sh*t crazy she is.

From her mere incompetence, to her lunatic conspiracy theories and all the way to her repugnant promotion of vile anti-Semites in her party. The only reason she lasted this long is that the media loves the crazy, progressive left and protected her from any real scrutiny. The worst politician in modern Canadian politics.

Well at least the old cow will have a huge taxpayer funded pension to keep her safe from the weather and from the realities of having to have a real job. Mao is a self serving hag so you have to wonder when the other hoof is going to drop and we find out why she really “quit” as leader and how much she’s going to cost the taxpayer.

    Sean M – you May be right. As a point of strategy the libranos need every seat they have if push comes to shove. The Speaker only votes on a tie. They could be thinking about something along those lines.

  18. She’s not actually gone yet and already I don’t miss her. I believe she intends to put herself forward as a candidate for Speaker of the House, and if appointed, well, I don’t think that job title means what she thinks it means. She will be the only one who gets to speak in the house while she sits in that chair, and Lisa Raitt won’t be there to escort her out.

    Not as much as it should be. It’s steadily working it’s way up, but it’s limited by the fact that a chunk of its support base is concentrated geographically in the Gulf Islands.

    NB or one of those provinces had an election and the Greens did very well…on the back of fiscal conservatism. Greenness apparently didn’t feature heavily in their campaign so much.

    Watch liquor lipped Lizzy fueled up and auditioning! She swore at all MPs using the F-word and seemed to think she should welcome a certain terrorist back to Canada. We owe her a lifetime pension for this? She was the one that said Canadians are stupid. This is definitely true about voters in Salt Spring a couple of weeks ago.

      In a cynical way, I hope Trudope does it, it will make parliament even worse. Given the long list of lunatic things she has said and done, I cant believe this is even a consideration. It reeks of a media trial balloon to see what the commentary is out there. She is as FRINGE as fringe gets. As noted previous, her arrogance and narcissism is what made the green party and vice versa. She would be a horrible speaker.

      1. If she gets the job as Speaker she only gets to vote if there’s a tie vote in the House. Justin won’t need to put one of his men up there.

  24. Dizzy Liz has the dignity and appeal of a banana spider. For 2 seconds I imagined her as Speaker and my brain went directly to the Mad Hatter’s tea party from Alice in Wonderland. That’s a benign image though. She weirdly represents people who want us dead or otherwise permanently silenced while they steal your wealth.
    Send her back to her home planet.

    West of New Brunswick, the Green Party is flypaper for cranks who have fallen for every globalist disinformation campaign under the sun (including the climate change hoax).

    The Librano leadership, appointees of Bay Street, believe much less of their own green propaganda than you’d think. The Green platform is designed to appeal to the middle-class dingbats who actually take this rubbish seriously, and keep them far away from any real power. A safe seat for Elizabeth May was her reward for pretending to oppose the Libranos.
