  1. “The party (Christian Democrats) has moved so far to the left, that it has no other options but to align itself with the socialist and greens in future elections.”

Familiar? – Canadian conservatives seem to win as conservatives. When they move left in a futile stupid attempt to get Bolsheviks to vote for them they always lose.

    1. See; McCain, Romney … Trump

The VOTERS have spoken. Which must really ANGER career thieves, err politicians.

        1. They can all suck my left nut. Wait, Nevermind, I’d kick Biden in the head, if he ever got that close to me …

  2. The article described the CDU as “center-right” and goes on to describe its discussion of forming a coalition with communists. Does that mean that Germany’s “right wing” parties are only quasi socialist? Sounds like Canada. The Germans likely think that the Spawn is “right wing” while the milquetoast Scheer Conservatives would be seen as extremists. The institutional left has corrupted the language and culture to where the mindless mushy middle of the electorate is now thinking that socialism / fascism is the moderate middle.

    1. As if to make your point, the Legal Insurrection story casts the Greens as “mainstream” along with the big old-line parties (CDU and SD).

    2. Bingo. Anyone who insists on referring to socialists as progressives is part of the problem. It’s way past time to take control of the narrative. Also, the main stream media is not your friend.

  3. The subheadline reads “AfD emerges as a major political force in the former Communist east.” Maybe it takes people who have actually suffered under Communism to realize how evil Communism and Socialism are. Nations in eastern Europe are the ones who opt for freedom and self-determination.
What John Chittick said above about CDU being “center-right”. I am not acquainted with the linked site, but in this day and age, its name says it should be right wing. Speaking of links, my meager memory of German tells me “Linke party” literally means Left party. Why is it you can be Communist and still be part of mainstream left, but you have to be socialist to be considered part of mainstream right?

    1. Not just that, OldBruin.

In the GDR a German man with only a basic education could count on being employable somewhere and being able to raise his children in levels of comfort that came nowhere close to the West’s but were far above Soviet standards.

The GDR occasionally brought in guest workers from poorer communist countries like Vietnam. Unlike in the west, they were obliged to go home when the job was done.

East Germans voted for re-unification thinking their lives would get better. If you were a young university educated woman like Comrade Erika (i.e. a Stasi asset—nobody whose loyalty to the Socialist Unity Party was suspect got to go to university), it did.

If you were a man who had worked in a mine or a factory, chances are your mine or factory shut down in the early Nineties and you never worked in the formal economy again. That you had never wittingly met the Stasi, never mind worked for them, didn’t matter. A Turk could do anything you could for far less.

When the globalists wound up their socialist experiments across Europe, they had no intention of granting Europeans their freedom or a better life. (On the contrary, they were questioning whether they shouldn’t replace the western proletariat with something less inclined to revolt.) Former GDR citizens have had 30 years to figure that out. And they’re voting for the only party that cares if Germans live or die. That’s the AfD.

  4. It seems the Germans are so apologetic about the WWII that any inference of “right wing” is considered bad form.
Well the left agenda is ruining Germany and just about every other Western Democracy. Just dare to mention getting the buses to run on time and watch the fun begin…

  5. How is it that the political ruling class with their paid for media cartel is constantly against the population.
The population only asks that the immigration be checked to get handle on it and some kind of order,
The political ruling class with their paid for media cartel has to, of necessity, make it into a “crisis”.
Yes it is a crisis of their, the political ruling class with their paid for media cartel making.
It is a sleight of hand.
Easy way to make laws and rules that go against the population without much objections.

    After all its a “crisis”.

    1. A hundred years ago, immigrants were thousands of miles and months in terms of time away from their homeland; they had little choice but to fit in. Not so much anymore plus they’re encouraged to keep their ways; we’re now post national, don’t ya know?

      1. “A hundred years ago, immigrants were thousands of miles and months in terms of time away from their homeland”

Now they visit Canada, get a Club Canada card, then move back to their homeland while drawing Canaduh welfare state benefits.
And all they need is “Landed Immigrant status” and they can vote in Canada and everything else. It’s sick.

        1. well no, not as I understand, landed immigrants can’t vote federally. Don’t know about province and municipality.

  6. “mainstream parties like CDU, the Greens, and the Social Democrats, have sworn not to work with the “populist” rival.”
It’s a globalist vs. nationalist thingy. Socialism is their modus operandi promising the world as they enslave the gullible masses.

  7. Merkel’s party is described as “center-right”, therefore the AfD must be extreme right. Gosh.
