  1. While I’m a bit tired of the constant $ solicitations I try to keep reminding myself of what we are up against. I donated $100 last night.

  2. I’m more concerned about a hack like Althea Raj participating as an “independent” journalist………have emailed the commission, for what it’s worth, about the concerns about a corrupt hack like Raj meeting with Butts, the week before this “debate”.
    I don’t believe that this debate will change anything, they rarely do. It’s just for the talking heads to natter about.
    Real attack ads would better and have more impact, but the CPC has lost its way, starting with the 2015 election. They need to attack the idiocy of Liberal policies and the divisions they’ve created, instead of the obvious “just not ready”, that meme is stale and doesn’t resonate with Low Infos…..
    We’re facing a Lib/Commie travesty government, it’s the worst possible outcome, with an outright COMMIE like Jaggy, aching to exploit the federal purse and plunge this country into a financial abyss.
    Maybe that’s what it will take to wake up the Low Infos, REAL pain, fromMarxist policies. Not that we don’t have them, but Jaggys lust for power is insatiable.

      1. I think there is a big misunderstanding of politics in third world countries. The partisans are following a particular group in expectation of a payout somewhere. Wether it’s someone else’s property or free stuff or the right to stealfrom opponents, advantages in courts etc. They aren’t working for the good of the coutnry, but their own partisan outfit and division of spoils, on a grand scale.

        Elections aren’t about what the people want, a democratic aspiration. An election is an opportunity to demonstrate who has the power, stuffed ballots and forced votes included. Preventing the oposing teams to access the voting booth is just a tactic.

        Here in soft old Canada, the elections are a farce, played by the rules; buit only the acceptable are allowed into the game, those who will not upset the apple cart.

        Then along comes Max and the PPC. If you are tired of the BS and fake choices, if you want change, there is no other choice. PPC.

        We should all understand this. The biggest mistake I see in Western media analysis of the world is that they assume/pretend that the rst of the world holds the same niceties regarding democracy.

  4. I’ve often commented here that Liberals are just disguised NAZIs in clown suits, as they say the proof is in the pudding. Refusing to allow journalists to attend press functions is the beginning of the end. No matter what you’re political leanings are, the refusal to allow people to attend a political event in order to control the message is a page taken right out of Goebbels’ handbook and the Liberals have incorporated the Alinsky dictum in with it. As for the so-called CPC under Scheer they are not much better.

  5. Two debates in french, in Montreal, one English in Toronto. All the debate moderators are women from Qc, and ON, save for one from the left coast. If it hasn’t sunk in yet, western Canada does not matter to them. If you’re voting Scheer, you may feel better, but don’t expect any changes if he wins.

Ezra at least has a national voice. His news organization should not be shut out.

  7. Scheer tosses out Leung based upon what Shoplifting Sven thinks is appropriate behavior. I cannot vote for Trudeau, Scheer, or May. I’m not NDP, but Singh is Canadian born, and went to school here and believes what he says, so I give him some respect on that front, but I could never vote NDP Orange Party Bad. That leaves PPC. The only place I can ethically and honestly vote. Lying to myself about Scheer (Joe Who 2.0) somehow being different, drinking the koolaid and voting Trudeau, or getting a lobotomy and voting May is never going to be in the cards.

      And if you believe Max will end equalization, remember that Max says equalization will continue for the provinces that need it most. Guess who “needs” it? We’ll have to cough up more to end the fiscal imbalance.

        It amounts to cannibalizing the next generation to pay for our consumption today. It’s insulating to voters.
        As if you can trust any of the others more than Bernier! So why reward any of the main parties for playing politics like they do?

        Personally I’m more concerned about mass migration into this country. It’s not a solution to aging demographics. It creates more problems. Our sprawling mega cities have become unlivable cuz of it. Then there’s the social problems.

        I don’t hear any of the main party leaders defending Canadians who are being falsely accused of being racists for questioning immigration policy. Sheer is the absolutest worstest mostest pitiful of the lot for letting himself get boxed into a corner on this file, unless he is following the script that he has been given by the plantation owners.

        If you stay home & don’t stuff a ballot, then they say you are OK with the status quo and nothing changes. With the PPC on the ballot , it’s an opportunity to send the message NO THANK-YOU to the plantation owners. It’s like voting NONE OF THE ABOVE.

Handcuffing and detaining the Rebel’s David Menzies at a Scheer event was LOW, similar to the treatment the elderly rural Quebecois woman received when she persisted in asking Trudeau questions about refugees.

    1. There are plenty of offences that Trudeau is guilty of, that the CPC have not exploited. Their campaign is as ineffectual as Harper’s 2015 campaign.
      Just like Stanfield and others before him, they are satisfied with a principled finish as the First Loser!

Told that caller that Scheer needs to show some emotion and backbone, and that I didnt know if I was going to vote at all. Did not promise my vote.

Voting for Max in any other riding in Canada splits the Conservative vote, electing Trudeau Liberals. The polls are close enough in about 12 ridings for this to occur. VOTING FOR the PPC RESULTS IN A LIBERAL GOVERNMENT. Don’t make the same mistake as we made in Alberta in 2015.

    It’s all a staged production, to provide the illusion of democracy in a country where the local satraps jump when the Chinese Communist party say hop.

    Get back to me when the US Marine Corps are patrolling Parliament Hill and good men are finally allowed to run in honest elections to a provisional government with a mandate to negotiate the terms of the unification of north America with the US. That election debate I look forward to watching.

Ezra’s partisan activism along with undisguised conservative-biased journalism is no different than the Liberal taxpayer-bought-and-paid-for media other than their phony pretense of objectivity and being in conflict for accepting payola. He has as much right to be allowed in the room as the conflicted Unifor mafia crowd or Chi-com propaganda wing but given that he wouldn’t be allowed to ask questions, I can’t see it being worth the legal battle. They could have more fun and effect if they set up their Van outside and live-streamed commentary during the farce misnamed a debate. They could use their lit up van to display a sign calling themselves “Independent media” who, along with True North are the only ones that can do so. There is no “objective” media in Canada, only partisan political activity with varying degrees of subtlety.

Post debate questions would be written and drawn at random by the moderator.

  18. I find it shocking and very disturbing that the Attorney General of the Country is sending an army of government lawyers after True North to stop them from covering the debate and the election. This is way beyond any pettiness that Trudeau holds against anyone that disagrees with him or criticizes him. The Liberals using the full weight of the federal judicial system the media party to censor and punish free speech should be absolutely unacceptable. Where is the outrage from any MP in the HoC or for that matter any Premier across the country?
