1. A blood pressure pill I was taking that came from China had cancer causing ingredients about a year ago. Haven’t we learned? Ban food and drugs from China because they simply don’t care whether we live or die. My daughter worked in a Canadian drug plant doing tests. Unless everything chemical and biological was perfect, nothing was produced yet we put this adulterated Chinese shit in our bodies. With food product, inspections are constant and intense yet we import processed dog shit from China relying on their corrupt system. Ban Chinese food and drugs and put brutal import duties on everything else. China is our enemy. They are trying to kill us.

I have first hand knowledge of China drug poisoning, as I was given drug called Ciprofloxacin three years ago, and changed my life forever and it has caused a crippling effect in my legs, unable to walk normally since that time. It affects your DNA. Please do not take any drugs in the family of the Quinlone family, also if you require a drug, ask for the trade name only.

   1. I can relate. I was prescribed Ciprofloxacin for otitis (ear infection), also 3 years ago. I took ONE pill and all hell broke loose. I had severe pain in my lower back and I had trouble getting my legs to work. Thankfully, there were no lasting effects that I am aware of, but anything with the prefix “Cipro” is off limits. I don’t know whether the drug was imported or not, but it played hell with me.

11. China poisons the world. People feel the risk to their economy would take too much of a hit if you voiced your concern, your objection to eating their dog food with melamine or having their toxic drywall in your house.

UnMe – know a vet who – back in the day – was on the front line when the melamine issue arose Kid was still a relatively new vet – fewer than two years along from graduation – and really took it hard. The owners of the dead pets were the real losers, but the vets really took it personally that they couldn’t save the animals. The vet I know was looking at everything possible and was one of the first to post pictures of anomalous findings in microscope slides – posting being to VIN, an online veterinary site. The anomalies turned out to be melamine, courtesy of a Chinese firm who had figured out that melamine had a similar profile to real protein and was a lot cheaper.

    This happened in March, 2007. In 2008, melamine-laced baby formula in China killed six babies and seriously affected thousands more. The North American market had dried up; the Chinese melamine manufacturers had just gone domestic. The callousness of their actions cannot be understated.

    Given this history, I am rather leery of anything coming from China.
