The Sound Of Settled Science

It’s Alex Jones’ world and we’re just living in it.

Researchers in Canada found women who drank fluoridated tap water while pregnant had children with slightly lower IQ scores than women who lived in non-fluoridated cities.

The message from public health experts, however, is “don’t panic”.

While the authors of the study claim the research “raises possible concern”, other researchers say the findings don’t move the needle much — if at all — on the question of fluoride safety.

“The overwhelming body of evidence is still supporting water fluoridation,” said Matt Hopcraft, associate professor of dental public health at the University of Melbourne.

“Here’s a single study that points a little in the other direction. I think we just need to be cautious.”

Water fluoridation began in Australia in the 1960s as a way to help prevent dental decay. It’s been heralded as one of the greatest public health achievements of the 20th century.

Now do birth control pills and testosterone.

  1. I used to be, like most 1950’s born indoctrinated souls, believing “flouride” was a good thing. The days of Sodium flouride However are and have been LONG gone.

    Today it’s:
    Hydroflourosilisic ACID.

A spill of which in the US, required a HAZMAT Team with full level 3/4 protection to clean up….as it literally ate Concrete. Thats what going into the water these days. A TOXIC by product of Potash mining.

Did it ever occure to anyone, why all of a sudden we have some many in their late 50’s early 60’s with significant knee and hip issues…? Simple answer: TOXIC Flouridation. I would also note that its only the US where they actually sell flouridated water for BABIES..ffs..! & certain parts of Canada & a few other countries that do so.
Europe – Scandianvia..? Not a chance.

Bought the only place ya want flouride..? In your toothpaste … and, don’t swallow (famous last words)

Suggest watching this rather enlightening film:

    1. Hazmat suit? What about hydrochloric acid? It will dissolve a human body. But your stomach is full of it. You are full of it too. Repeat After me C-O-N-C-E-N-T-R-A-T-I-O-N.

  2. The “report” or “study” was totally useless and bogus. Jones has many good things going for him, medical conspiracies and contrails aren’t amongst them.

Do not do epidemology by word of mouth or hearsay.

  3. I am upset about the fluoridtion of water. The additional protection from decay is minimal, plus this is offset by potentiaal toxic effects. Fluoride can make your teeth brittle (ever have a broken tooth?) In what other capacity does the government add a medication to municipal water? It is a pain to get rid of (expensive reverse osmosis systrms), plus it is not necessary to ingest fluoride for decay protection. There are fluoride salts for anyone who wants fluoride. Also most toothpaste has fluoride — try to find one that does not. This is a conspiracy. There is no excuse for adding fluoride to drinking water.

  4. “Now do birth control pills and testosterone.”

It’s been done and birth control is perfectly safe, just like fluoride.

    1. Referring to a common salt of fluoride, sodium fluoride (NaF), the lethal dose for most adult humans is estimated at 5 to 10 g/kg body weight). Fluoride is the second most poisonous salt after Cyanide but I am sure like Biden your truth beats the facts (I was going to say “trumps the facts” but some might find that offensive). Just read the Wikipedia article on Fluoride Toxicity if you want to be enlightened. Fluoride is only effective in dental decay prevention when applied topically directly to the teeth, not when you drink it. It originally was a byproduct of the aluminium industry that they had to get rid of since dumping it in the rivers killed all the fish – which pissed off the locals. Luckily the corporate shills sold it as a dental decay preventer, and more must be better so lets add to the water.

    2. Unme

I’m sure you use Birth Control regularly…
…and to be honest.?, damned glad ya do.
      Carry on.

  5. “this study”….hahahahahahahaha

    talk about bullschitt.

To test an adults IQ accurately is hard, to test a kids IQ accurately, damn near impossible.

Then they need to weed out the difference in parenting. Seeing as the cities , were fluoride is I water, and populated with a lot of libtards, against country folk, were commen sense is far more common, you need to factor in parenting difference. This has a large impact on how kids respond to testing . Throw in environmental impact on kid’s learning, and this whole so called study is garbage. Full stop!!

And unDork, your post you have not made for several days, were very smart sounding. As the saying goes, silence is golden

  6. What is interesting is while the libtards want everything else to be “natural” and “organic,” and they will pay exorbitant prices for it, they want to mandate adding a known poison (in large enough quantities) for everyone, whether they want it or not.
That is the basic difference between a conservative and a liberal. A conservative just wants to be left alone so he can do what he likes, like having beer and steak every dinner. A liberal thinks he has found what is good, and wants to make everyone else do it, like organic vegan tofu or whatever. Maybe liberals ought to be forced to have beer and steak once a week. It may greatly improve their disposition.

    1. “Maybe liberals ought to be forced to have beer and steak once a week. It may greatly improve their disposition.”

It would increase the price of beer and steak. Market forces, eh? Telling them to pissoff, and make it stick, is good enough.

  7. About those birth control pills:

When the researchers then genotyped both the women and men, they discovered that the women’s noses had unerringly selected potential mates whose specific genetic make-up would yield offspring with particularly robust immune system combinations (via MHC typing for the science-wonks reading this). Using just their sense of smell, the women were able to accurately determine very important information about a potential mate’s DNA. ….

the study … further revealed that women who are on birth control pills lose this nose-DNA-detecting superpower. The pharmaceuticals act as a disrupting agent.

Now imagine the poor woman who gets married, decides it’s time to have children, goes off her birth control pill and then, once her hormones have shifted back to her natural baseline, wakes up one day thinking “Crikey, who is this loser?” Somewhere deep and ancient inside her, the former ‘man of her dreams’ now smells entirely wrong. A bad match.

So, they break up, at great emotional, logistical and financial disturbance. She moves on, goes back on the pill, marries another great guy and then repeats the whole process.

  8. Ok, now study women that have watched the CBC while pregos…

And if low IQ is bad, bad for individuals and bad for the country, what’s up with welcoming all the low IQ people into the country from the islamic and african lands?

  9. Re: from the linked article: “The authors acknowledged that the study had several limitations.”

    Enough said.

    1. Yes, and then you still have to worry about imbibing toxins from the plastic. A National Post article indicates that fluoride in the water system is especially effective in reducing cavities in those with poor oral hygiene. Of course, because others get plenty of fluoride from toothpaste. Can we just encourage people to brush their teeth, rather than forcing everyone on a city water system to swallow a known toxin.

  10. In the 60’s the public schools in Ontario had annual fluoride treatment days. I remember at least 3 of these events.

Grade school classes were marched to the gym and everyone brushed and rinsed with a toothpaste. Horrible taste that nothing could cover.

  11. Those who know the history of fluoride, or the damage it does to one’s thyroid, would NEVER injest it in any form, and would certainly never allow it to be dumped into the water supply.

  12. “Water fluoridation began in Australia in the 1960s as a way to help prevent dental decay. It’s been heralded as one of the greatest public health achievements of the 20th century.”

Perhaps this is so, however, how many smart Australians do you know?

  13. “They took the good halogen out (iodine), and put the bad halogen in (fluoride)” Alex Jones.
